Wisconsin Republicans have been trying to pass the voter suppression bill for 10 years. Today, Scott Walker signed it into law.
At a time when Gov. Walker is crippling unions in the name of balancing the budget, it's puzzling that he so adamantly pursued a law that will cost the state government $7 million.
We had Adam Green of PCCC on the show last night to talk about fraud in the Wisconsin recall efforts.
Now more proof of deceptive tactics is surfacing. In a recording, a man collecting signatures to recall a Democratic state Senator is caught exchanging shots of alcohol for the signatures of a group of women in a Wisconsin bar.
In his town hall last night, Ed got a warm welcome from the people of Wisconsin and some insight on the fate of workers' rights from the WI 14.

Things are getting heated in the WI Supreme Court at the expense of the first female justice, Chief Justice Shirley Abrahamson.

Justice David Prosser was caught name-calling in an angry email:
"In the context of this, I said, 'You are a total bitch,' ... I probably overreacted, but I think it was entirely warranted ... They [Abrahamson and Justice Ann Walsh Bradley] are masters at deliberately goading people into perhaps incautious statements. This is bullying and abuse of very, very long standing."
Justice Prosser is already in hot water because some think he has a "disregard for the separation of powers". He's also a confidant of Gov. Scott Walker.
Wisconsin Supreme Court elections are on April 5th.
