Last night, the Discovery Channel aired a special on the gun culture in America. They spent some time with Republican political activist and gun enthusiast Ted Nugent.
The special seemed comical to say the least, and really didn't take "an inside look at American gun culture" as it was supposed to. It really just gave an inside look at Ted Nugent’s gun culture.

Or hanging out with people preparing for the Zombie apocalypse…
On top of all this as Media Matters points out, Ted Nugent spent yesterday promoting his show and trashing the President. In promotional radio appearances for the Discovery Channel special, Nugent called President Obama "anti-American" and said the show was means of helping him win the "culture war."

It is embarassing to me as a gun owner and shooting enthusiast to have Ted Nugent as a sort of representative in a lot of non-shooter's minds. No wonder there are difficulties bringing people into the sport. He's hard to explain away even though there are so many sane people who enjoy shooting. Do us a favor and deport yourself!
there are plenty of gun enthisiasts out there. Political offiliation doesnt deter someone from owning guns, joining the NRA, or target shooting or hunting. Ted's wife was killed by a drunk driver, has been anti drug, anti alcohol his entire career, kicked band members out for substance abuse since his early days with Amboy dukes, i dont like most of what he says about Politics, then again, musicians and hollywood actors should stick to what they know. Politicians can act stupid enough on their own without their help..another thing..i dont need to hear a freakin song during a political rally on either side to impress me..i want to hear what they have to offer

Ted Nugent, driving like a crazy foolish nut, causes his rifles to get propelled into the air and smash onto the ground possibly damaging the rifles, now that's a very responsible gun owner. NOT. Trashing Obama, Bad Idea, I used to listen to and Like Nugents songs and go see him at concerts.even learned how to play his songs. but after listening to many of his comments on all kinds of issues, and watching him on television talk shows . I won't buy another nugent CD or watch his music on any format. and don't want to play his songs. and won't ever pay to go see him at a concert. He is a FOOL.
