You don't understand Romney's Tax plan? That's ok neither does Romney and his website is just as confused as you.
From:
Individual Taxes
America’s individual tax code applies relatively high marginal tax rates on a narrow tax base. Those high rates discourage work and entrepreneurship, as well as savings and investment. With 54 percent of private sector workers employed outside of corporations, individual rates also define the incentives for job-creating businesses. Lower marginal tax rates secure for all Americans the economic gains from tax reform.
From: BelieveInAmerica-PlanForJobsAndEconomicGrowth-Full page 36
INDIVIDUAL TAXES
• Maintain marginal rates at current levels
• Further reduce taxes on savings and investment
• Eliminate the death tax
• Long-term goal: pursue a flatter, fairer, simpler structure
See a problem?
Well there are a few other places where his tax plan flip flops again and again. Still think this guy has a plan? Even his own team doesn't know what to post on his site.
This is the math:
(20% across the board tax cut) - (no detail cuts) - (no detail on deductions eliminated) - ($455 million in cuts from CPB and Big Bird) = -$4.545 billion
Unless you give me number for cuts or what deductions you eliminate I'll "just make up a number" and that number is -$4.545 billion. Read more at
What a load of Bull$hit.
Go read his plan.
Weekly Jobless Claims went down by 30,000. The lowest since 2008.
These numbers suggest the economy is on the right track.
Tea Party guys - watch out!!
Voters are not stupid,
That's right, even with high gas prices signs of the economy in the US is doing better. Some people must be doing the right thing even though Wal-Mart just said they have a record amount of lay-aways for Xmas shows some people don't get it. STOP SHOPPING at the Great WAL-MART of CHINA!
"stop shopping at the great walmart of china".
i get your point, and even though prices have gone up at walmart, like everywhere else, they are still cheaper and many people need that.
Libya attack: Congressmen casting blame voted to cut diplomatic security budget
Reps. Jason Chaffetz and Darrell Issa claim the Benghazi consulate sought more security before the deadly attack. They also both voted to cut the State Department's embassy security budget.
By Dan Murphy, Staff writer /October 5, 2012
Is that responsible for the tragedy in Benghazi? Probably not, at least not entirely. Usually when security goes wrong, it's down to a cascade of small failures piling up. But it's a bit rich to complain about a lack of US security personnel at diplomatic missions on the one hand, while actively working to cut the budget to pay for US security personnel at diplomatic missions on the other.
It would have been Ambassador Stevens' call as to whether he made that visit from Tripoli, with advice from his regional security adviser. If they thought there was a high likelihood of an attack, they wouldn't have gone. They sadly got it wrong. A glaring intelligence failure? A cavalier attitude towards security? Or simply bad luck, in a dangerous country that the US is eager to see stabilized?
To be sure, the embassy security budget has been under the knife for years. “During both the latter years of the Bush presidency and throughout the Obama presidency, the administration has recommended boosting spending on foreign aid and [State Department] foreign operations, including security, and Congress has always cut it back,” Philip Crowley, a former State Department spokesman under President Obama, told the Washington Times in late September.
I shop at Wal-Mart sometimes too, shame on me! I was at Big Lots today and spotted a 32"LED HDTV for $219.00 Wal-Mart price same TV $269.00 I think it was. I had a medication that cost $250.00 and at a local pharmacy it cost $25.00 WOW huh? Wal-Mart calls full time 28 hours a week, so they don't have to pay into the unemployment fund adding to our debit and deficit and also no benefits. Shop around. Keep an list of prices of things you buy often it may save you a few bucks and help support jobs in the USA.
The Tea Begger's are truely Cognitively Disabled, Emotionally Disturbed, and very UnAmerican! The Tea Beggers are a disgrace to Democracy, Freedom, and the concept of fairness. The GOP/Tea Beggers are extremely paranoid of their own "Political Shadows." There are so many "Crazy Conservative Clowns" that make up the Tea Beggers. Allen "the Alien" West is so full of hate for America, and he has no concept of reality. It would have been very interesting to have Allen 'the Alien" West debate Dr. King. "Bitchy Bachmann" is another Tea Begger, who is a another "Political Paranoid." This very UnAmerican individual has made it clear that she has no respect for herself, no respect for the US Constitution, and no respect for those fellow citizens that live their lives individually. Then the Tea Beggers have "Welching Walsh." He has no concept of morality, humanity, and has no idea of what dignity means. These Tea Beggers are "Odd," in their lack of humnaity. The Tea Beggers are "Incompetent in their use of NO facts. The Tea Beggers are "Gross" in their "Super Spewing" of continued lies about our Democracy, and about the Office Of The Presidency. These Tea Beggers are not good for our nation on all levels.
So true and they all are self-serving and have the audacity to say are working for the people.
Progressive - what a paranoid rant!
Forward, the Obama campaign's collectivist campaign slogan, targets undecided voters
Forward is collectivist's language -- a summons to the masses to undertake some heroic advancement in support of a shared goal -- or presumably so. A sane person doesn't say "Forward" to just one person; nor does a battlefield commander order a single soldier to "Charge." Forward is spoken by the one to the many.
Since Forward became the Obama campaign slogan in April, its popularity with socialist regimes has been noted, as well as how it diverts attention away from Obama's failures in office.
Class warfare is one such "stereotype" and "established tendency." It's been fed and nurtured by progressives in America for a very long time. It has a special pull on those who feel like victims.
Forward. It's an order, not an appeal. A command, not a call. It has been, throughout history, the language of the dictator.
I can see why they are compared to Mt. Rushmore, they all have rocks in their heads!
Allen West is right. We have to cut out welfare. We can start with Congress. Do you know that Congress gets every third week off on top of at least a week on ever national holiday somtimes two, The whole mon th olf August, they were in Washingtoon for three days in Sept. and won''t be back until after the election. Now that is welfare
Makes one wonder about how far along in the evolution process anyone who'd vote for any of these four "wunderkinder" ever got.
As is plainly evident...they're still at the starting line.

Five Signs Mitt Romney's Campaign Is Crumbling
Even Conservatives Don't Buy Romney's Argument
Gage Skidmore
On Fox News Sunday, right-wing pundit Bill Kristol said, "Bush was president during the financial meltdown, the Obama team has turned that around pretty well." When one of your Fox friends shoots down what has been your rationale for election for months, you're in trouble.
At this point, conservatives' only hope is that the polls are wrong. One Republican even set up a site to “unskew” polls to weight them all with the highly suspect party weighting Rasmussen Reports uses. Then you’ll find a Romney landslide about to happen. But even Scott Rasmussen says that logic doesn’t work: "You cannot compare partisan weighting from one polling firm to another." President Ronald Reagan said, "If you're explaining, you're losing." For this case, substitute "unskewing" for "explaining."
As former Bush speechwriter David Frum asked, "How do you message: I'm doing away with Medicaid over the next 10 yrs, Medicare after that, to finance a cut in the top rate of tax to 28 percent?" The answer is, you can't. Mitt Romney's hope was to appease his base with policy, impress swing voters with his competence and tear apart the president for his failures. His competence has become questionable and his failure narrative replaced by Bill Clinton's retelling of the past four years. All he can do is pull the president out of context and hope something sticks. Fortunately for Romney, his base will indulge in anything that makes the president look bad. But the outrage doesn't seem to interest anyone else.
Michele Bachmann, Allen West, Steve King and Joe Walsh.
All are war-mongers. None of them had served in Iraq and Afghanistan.
They think they are Patriots but expect poor American kids to serve and die in foreign lands instead. Walk the talk and we will believe.
Is that the new talking point from the left? Anyone who is a conservative is a war-monger? Look at the reults of Obama's foreign Policy, One American Ambassador and 3 others dead and the Obama Administration and Hillary's State department are busy covering up the cover-up!
And, how many are dead as a result of Bushs' unjust war, based on lies, in Iraq. These people were not fighting in an un-just war, but my condolences go to the families of those who lost their lives, while striving for peace, safety and security for all Americans. If, mistakes were made within the safety and security policy offered these four patriotic heros, I trust the Obama administration to rectify those mistakes, insuring those same mistakes will not be repeated.
Is Bush running for office?
just saying...
GreatGran - typical liberal reply. You don't answer the charge you divert and blame Bush, the Congress, the Faux Global Warming Crisis etc. etc. etc.
sully and stormy~~You guys need to grow up and understand G W Bush was president for 8 years. He did make history. When a historical fact of his presidency, is stated, that is NOT blaming Bush. Bush created his historical facts, wheather you like it or not, you have no right to defend him by accusing the speaker of "BLAMING BUSH". I know you guys, don't want to even hear his name mentioned, but I don't want to forget the damage he did to our nation and how he abused our troops. So you will just have to get over it the best way you can.
GG...my point is what does someone else's actions...which you consider to be deplorable...have to do with justifying your own actions? You can not pretend that it is okay for Obama's administration to lie and cover up this disaster because in your opinion...Bush did it.
It is time for BOTH parties to grow up and be mature...
In the mean time, I can't forget the damage that Obama and the Democrats are doing to our entire country by completely destroying our economy and continuing to spend money that my great great great great grandchildren havent even earned yet...
just saying..
Everyone should know by now, that they are all rabid, radical, extremist. Anyone who votes for either of those teapartiers, are contributing to the denigration of American culture.
GreatGran - Obama and all liberals are all rabid, radical, extremists!
Lose your cable? No FOX?
Nah X sully thinks the voice in his head is Reagan speaking to him from the grave.
Sbgamatt - "None of them had served in Iraq and Afghanistan" Allen West served in the military and has fought in combat! He was in the Military in Iraq and served as a civilian advisor in Afghanistan. So either you are an ignorant fool or a liar!
Shell shocked huh?
And he got thrown out for his insanity and mistreatment of prisoners gee wonder why sully left that out.
xxx - why would I be shell shocked by the fact I caught a liberal (Sbgamatt) lying?
Why would someone bother you when it comes to lying after all the guy you support lies 99.9% of the time he opens his mouth.
whomi - have you ever been in combat? Obviously not, you're still in your parents basement! West cared more about his soilders lives than Obama cared about Ambassador Stevens! A "bump in the road" for Obama I guess.
Exactly, a Civilian Advisor stays in an air-conditioned room and not in the mud with boots on. Get it real. He does not get shot at. He does not even know what an IED looks like. He does not know how dry blood smells like. Get it real.
Liberal racism sightings have become like a lunatic’s version of “Where’s Waldo?” Kevin Baker of Harper’s magazine says Romney’s referring to his “five boys” in last week’s debate was how he “slyly found a way” to call Obama a “boy.” Says Baker: “How the right’s hard-core racists must have howled at that!”MSNBC’s Chris Matthews says the word “apartment” is racist because black people live in apartments. He also says the word “Chicago” is racist because — despite its well-known reputation as the home of Al Capone and the Daley machine — a lot of black people live there, too. (And don’t get him started on “Chicago apartments”!)As we go to press, Matthews is working on an exciting new hypothesis that peanut butter is racist.Meanwhile, my new favorite actress, Stacey Dash, sends an inoffensive little tweet supporting Mitt Romney and is buried in tweets calling her “an indoor slave” and a “jiggaboo,” who was “slutting (herself) to the white man.” (And those were just the tweets from the Obama 2012 Re-election Campaign!)
Could we get an expert opinion from Chris Matthews or Kevin Baker about whether any of that is racist?
It’s a strange thing with liberals. They spend so much time fawning over black nonentities — like Maya Angelou, Eugene Robinson, Barack and Michelle Obama, and Rachel Maddow’s very, very, very special black guest Melissa Harris-Perry — that, every once in awhile, they seem to erupt in racist bile to restore their mental equilibrium.
After President George W. Bush appointed Condoleezza Rice the first black female secretary of state, she was maligned in racist cartoons portraying her as Aunt Jemima, Butterfly McQueen from “Gone With the Wind,” a fat-lipped Bush parrot and other racist cliches.
Kevin Baker didn’t notice any of that because he was working on his theory that referring to your sons is racist.
When Michael Steele ran for senator from Maryland, he was depicted in blackface and with huge red lips by liberal blogger Steve Gilliard. Sen. Charles Schumer’s Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee dug up a copy of Steele’s credit report — something done to no other Republican candidate.
Is that more or less racist than Romney mentioning his sons? More or less racist than the word “apartment”?
Mia Love, a black Republican running for Congress in Utah had her Wikipedia page hacked with racist bile, heavy on the N-word. Her campaign headquarters has been bombarded with racist graffiti and slimy mailings with pictures of Klansman next to photos of her family.
Some would say that’s even more racist than Romney talking about his sons.

Sbgamatt - Allen West also served as a Lieutenent Colonel in the US Army in Iraq. You need to get it real!
It was extremely refreshing to witness a leader, VP Joe Biden, FINALLY standup to the arrogance and untruthfulness of the Republican party candidate, Paul Ryan. Hopefully, President Obama has learned an important lesson. I love the respectability of our President, until, it's time to "fight" back.....I have faith he will do better this coming Tues.
Out of all this, I have learned that most conservatives are incapable of accepting two things: Responsibility and Defeat.
West was kicked out of the Army for illegally firing a weapon by a prisoner.
I think Paul Ryan looked alot like Mr. Bean the animated series during the debate.
Its time all of these "BUTTHOLES" are booted from "OUR" government, I did not ask for them, I don't want them and what is even worse is I CAN'T VOTE THEM OUT!, DIRECTLY, THAT IS, NOT FROM MY STATE!
If only I were a SUPER PAC!
WOW! "Sillyman 2112" Read all facts correctly "Sillyman 2112." This is always a good first step. Then research the facts correctly "Sillyman 2112." Now the key here is too check all the facts, not just the facts that you are able to comprehend. If "Sillyman 2112" does not like our nation moving forward? Then "Sillyman 2112" enjoys sending our nation backwards! Really? What a joke America!
Romney claims he would do things different than Obama, yet he cannot spell out how he would do it differently.
He claimed he would confer with Congress on what to do. Is he deferring the Presidential responsibility to the Congress. If so, why are we having an election for the President of the United States?
Congress for the past 3 1/2 years have not been able to make decisions so where is this going to lead him if he is elected President?
its time for the republicans to bend over ol rover! hehe pathological liars! all of them!
