You seem to have a real "tick" against the PREZ, and it would be helpful to me to know "specifically" what do you see Romney more than you see than PREZ? If you are "rich or upper class" then I can understand, but if you are one of the 47 percenters, then perhaps you need to do some math and check out with someone who can and see what Romney is doing. What are the tax loopholes that he intends to use? Why say to the moderator of the Debate that he is cutting PBS, which children watch, Barnie, Big Bird (Sesame Street and other children's programs)? This is only about 1 percent of the loophole he is talking about! This is perfectly nonsense and does not add up. I challenge ALL democrats to listen to Romney's speech on Foreign Policy he made today in Virginia. Never before have I heard - from either democrat or republican - such a speech. Clear, concise, with vision - I REALLY challenge all democrats - if you have the guts - to listen to his speech - then and only then will you stop with the smug cutsey awful remarks about a man who truly has a heart, brains and a plan (something Obama does not possess) for the betterment of America.

It should... Robme has all the same advisors, for both foreign policy and financial policy. So Robme will be starting a couple of wars for no reason (which no one in his family will be fighting of course), doubling up on tax cuts for the rich, deregulating Wall street and increasing reward programs for corps that want to move their business to China. Oh yeah... we should be on the alert for another big attack on our shores, since these people aren't very good at paying attention to intelligence warnings and keeping Americans safe.

If one's mother or grandmother is ill and in a nursing home, think what will happen if they pull out Medicaid and the facility closes down.
They want to end Medicaid. Then what happens to her or one's father or grandfather? This is serious business. This is cold and brutal business that Americans who yell about Medicaid better wake up to. Most of Medicaid is spent this way, on the elderly and infirm who require 24/7 care and supervision.
How would you go to work to earn a living? You couldn't leave them alone! Could you do the 24/7 care and take care of the kids, too? No one could! No one could afford a nursing home, either, except the rich. Medicaid is a huge safety net for the average American and the working poor.
Fact is, if Romney goes with the Ryan budget, as he said he would, and destroys the decades old safety nets, this country will be plunged into terrible poverty and look like a third world country in a few years.
While they get wealthier, we get increasingly vulnerable and impoverished as a nation and as a people.
While their already low taxes get lower and ours higher, the deficit will rise by trillions. There will be no money for anything and if they do as they say they will in future, which is NOT to raise the debt ceiling, and increase the bloated defence budget, America will lose her standing in the world. Perhaps forever.
I think Obama is far superior to Romney on foreign affairs. He is quiet and thoughtful, he understands people and their reactions, he doesn't get angry. Romney is too excitable, too lacking in empathy, too much of a war-monger.

From what I recall of my past scripture study, Revelations in the New Testament in particular.... when Jesus Christ returns to Earth bringing about the Millennial Era, there will be a period of a thousand years when peace will reign on the whole Earth... not just in the Middle East.
Of course before that happens, I seem to remember something about there being a huge war consuming the Middle Eastern region first. You mentioning that "Romney will set off a fight in Iran that will blow the middle east to kingdom come and back." probably isn't that far off. Since Robme belongs to the same church I did, I know he knows these things also.
While I was involved in the church, whenever there was discussion of the return of Christ and the beginning of the Millennium... there was also discussion of the war in the Middle East that must occur first. It is my impression that some Christians seem to be in a hurry for Christ's return and the Millennium to start.
And to this conclusion, they would like to see that war start sooner rather than later. So if Robme were to become President, the religious right might indeed try to influence Robme to get that war started. There are indeed... some true fanatics in the Christian church as well as in the Muslim faith.
I trust the guy who just got our Ambassador killed in Libya. Seems like his team is right on top of the game. I am loving the way the middle east is on fire, and that Iran is quickly building a nuclear weapon, and how our guy just smiles and you know he is on top of it.

As far as I can tell, you did not misspell president. I said Obama was prescient, a word which means having foreknowledge of events to come. I meant by that that he was president, not like someone who could see the future. He cannot possibly watch over every consulate all the time, nor know in advance that the terrorists would strike our consulate.
CNN is always there, and that means nothing. They are not prescient either. A number of things happen in this violent world all the time and the president cannot possibly know of every one of them before they happen. It has happened to many presidents. Say Reagan, for example. Bush for example. Clinton for example.

On 9/11/01 Washington was a target under attack. For many reasons, security, best use of resources and the advice of the Military, President Bush did not come back to Washington. But to say he was AWOL? I have never heard that charge. I know he addressed the issue to the Ciitizens before he left FL, again from Louisiana and that evening from the White House. I never wondered if my President was on the job, he communicated to the nation and world that he was on the job. America knew they had an engaged CoC and it brought a lot of comfort during that tragedy. Within days he was up on the pile with the fire fighters and first responders, he was the very demonstration of leadership during that time, ask anyone and they will agree.
oBama has a history of not leading and communicating to the public during crisis events. How long did it take him to engage the BP gulf oil disaster. Weeks. Who got to New Orleans first after this summers hurricane, Romney or oBama. Now he won't miss a fund raiser or a celebrity appearance, but doesn't do press conferences. After seeing his lack of a grasp of the issues during the debate, I understand why, but I would argue if he did his job day to day he wouldn't struggle with the facts.
His lack of communication about Benghazi, the lies spread by his officials, makes the public wonder what he is hiding or is he just bored? I think it is and will continue to be a stain on his foreign policy credibility

I am not blaming him for the attack, but he is responsible, that is the yoke of leadership. Prescient, new word for my vocabulary, never used by the crowd I hang with, but I will try to add to my limited vocabulary. No I don't think he is or should be expected to be "prescient", but as the executive of our government he should not spread false stories, or allow his administration to do so for a full week. He should secure any crime scene, not him personally but by this I mean cause to happen, of any attack on sovereign US property.
This country has the resources and personnel to make this happen within hours, and it should have been done. His only public comments have called this a bump in the road. That disregards the American lives lost there and tells the world that American policy is to accept a slap in the face and turn the other cheek. The people that planned and conducted this crime are animals, and the only thing they understand is a strong response and anything less they will perceive as weakness.
There are events during a Presidents term that should get his full attention and the world needs to know that an attack on sovereign soil is one of those times. For him not to give his full attention to this and instead to jet off to fund raisers tells me a lot about his priorities. I remember Jimmy Carter wouldn't leave the WhitemHouse during the time our embassy was under siege in Iran. That is because he grasped the responsibility of being CoC of America.

The people elect the Executive, so that there is someone responsible at the helm in times of attack on this country. Since Responsibility seems to be a new concept to you I will expand on its meaning. It doesn't equate to blame, it does though to responsiveness. Companies, clubs, ships, churches, all kind of organized efforts have to be operated by a responsible person. That executive has the power to make snap decisions when required, they are truely the designated target for the attack of advesaries of the group they serve. The executive provides folks inside and outside a clear picture of direction and meaning of that organization. They inspire, inspect and appoint. They have to delegat their authority to make sure their responsibility is accounted for properly. When theses responsibilities are neglected the organization suffers. This is briefly what I call the Yoke of Leadership.
oBama had little Executive experience coming into his presidency, the celebrity of the job he does well it comes natural to him. But the drudgery of slugging through the day to day operations he has removed himself from, thus for example, he rarely has attended his daily security briefings. He instead gets an email in his folder and checks off that box. Priorities must be used to decide what elements will receive the limited time of the executive, he or she is literally the final decision all kinds of activities are depending on. Bush once said 'I am the decider' which sounded funny at first, but is the best description I have ever heard of a reponsible executive. Decisions come painfully slow to oBama if at all. The snap decisions in crisis can't be depended on being there, all kinds of folks are waiting on what the decider has decided. I hope that helps.
Not many good executives make good celebrities, and conversely not many good celebrities make good executives. The good ones in all fields, make it look easy, but it is much harder than it looks. The absence of effective executive leadership irritates those who know what is required and what it's should look like. In the Benghaz example, an effective Executive would have picked up the phone and called one of several resources at the CoC's disposal and issued the order to secure the crime scene immediately and take appropriate actions as required. If in 12-24 hours this hasn't been accomplished an inquiry is started and a second order is issued to accomplish what is required. The executive is RESPONSIBLE to make this happen one way or another. Our guy, either decided not to secure the crime scene, which would be a deralection of duty, or worse and what I suspect made no decesion and gave no orders. He is lost in executive duty, in a crisis he runs to what he does best that being Celibrity.
This lack of grasp of executive duty was illustrated Wednesday night in the side by side comparison. oBama will always win the Celebrity, but Romney won the Executyive comparison. If,you want to see a picture of this check out this weeks New Yorker magazine.
