Ed Schultz is back tonight at 8pET as host of The Ed Show on MSNBC.
As we reported before, Ed’s been off since July 19 in order to care for his wife, Wendy, who was diagnosed with ovarian cancer.
"It's been a real jolt to say the least; I mean it shakes you to your bones,” Ed said when he called in to his radio show on July 25.
Wendy underwent surgery on July 24.
Ed said Wendy was "deeply touched" by messages of support, via social media (Facebook and Twitter) and email.
Ed is revved up and ready to resume his fight for American working families tonight at 8pET on MSNBC.
As Ed says, "let’s get to work!"
Note: Ed will share a few thoughts on what his family is going through tonight on The Ed Show.

Ed, I am glad to see you are back. I was not aware of why you had a guest host for the last couple of weeks and just found out. I am very sorry to hear that your wife has cancer. Unfortunately my stricken loved ones lost their battles but rooting for your Wendy to win hers which she will because she's got you in her corner cheering her all the way.
