Yes. Of course repubs will go for giving tax breaks to rich 1% ers and cut medicare, social security, medicaid and all other programs for middle class, seniors, poors , disabled , students, women and minorities. They will bring back child labor and slavery if they can.
No.
They are not going to defeat President Obama.
So the only thing they will be returning to is their KKK sheet parties deep in the woods of their home States.
You have a point, Hope. If the sane Americans don't re-elect Obama, we are all going to hell in a hand basket so the answer is neither, none of the above.
Exactly Thankful. Great way to put that !
UM - NO ---- Have They Stopped ?????????
"Republican Ideas" caused us to spend $6 trillion on wars in Afghanistan and Iraq before "Republican Ideas" began complaining about how much those wars cost after an African American was elected POTUS.
Hope 1.1 : I agree.
Gee Hope I voted with that thought in mind last week, just the same today I voted yes [if they win] it's hypothetical.
Of course IF they win there going to try to support their so called values. That's the whole reason for running, for anyone running, so you and yours have the ability lead the community, city, state and country to those policies best for you and yours, and therefore [in you and yours mind] best for the nation. It's what religion, politics and war is all about, me and mine, vs you and yours.
Oh Hope I didn't mean you, when I say you and yours. ☺☻☺☻
that's me too MD/MI....when have they stopped? where do you start? they hated FDR and anyone after that....they haven't stopped. they went ballistic when one of their own passed Obamacare. imagine what they're going to be like when Robme get's the boot............
Wait how do I undue/delete ah screw it.
Word.
The Hill Poll: Voters blame president most for slow economic recovery
By Sheldon Alberts - 07/23/12 05:00 AM ET
Two-thirds of likely voters say the weak economy is Washington’s fault, and more blame President Obama than anybody else, according to a new poll for The Hill.
It found that 66 percent believe paltry job growth and slow economic recovery is the result of bad policy. Thirty-four percent say Obama is the most to blame, followed by 23 percent who say Congress is the culprit. Twenty percent point the finger at Wall Street, and 18 percent cite former President George W. Bush.
Great comments Viewer 1, Sen, MD/MI, Thankful, Crackhead, and heesback !
âºâ»âºâ»
i just don't understand how so many support these fools and their continued tax cuts....how do they expect defense to be paid for along with all the other services the government provides....you can gut the whole entire social contract and it still would not be enough...don't they realize that in order to give to the rich its gotta come from somewhere....hope they got some deep pockets cause quite frankly...the poor do no have it.....if they somehow end up with the tri-fecta so to say, the US as in the rest of us are done....we are almost at end game as it is...this will push it over and they, our fellow americans, stand by and applaud....
Why have more people failed to realize Romney is the only Republican nominee in the past 50 years that has not criticized any white supremacists?
Hope , I think they will strut like a peacock and roll everything back. I hope the Democrats will stand firm and filibuster everything! The road runs both ways!
Hey There Hope and ALL Others - Doing Well This Day ???
Yup.
Republicans would reverse everything that is reducing unemployment.
Hey MD/MI ! Surviving one day at a time !
Hope - Good and I Hear That -- hey !!!! ♥♥♥♥♥
Then the answer should be "NO" - They will NOT go back to the GOP of old that WERE Americans, not the radical insurectionest traitors they have become. Yes would mean they would be willing to work with the Dems and actually HELP to fix the situation(s) they created under the reign of bush. Yes would mean they would care about the middle class and creating jobs and healthcare for all, not spewing vitriolic lies and rhetoric while wanting to privatize everything and taking care of the corporations and the 2%ers. Yes would mean they would be going back to trying to save our Democracy, not destroying it to replace it with a Plutocracy. The answer is a resounding NO -The only thing they care about is replacing the best POTUS we have had in a long, long time. Lest we forget or have learned, the last DEPRESSION took 12 years and WWII to come out of-AND- Most people did NOT have mortgages and nobody had auto loans or credit card debt - How 'ya think he's doing in 31/2 years now?
Pam52...
No matter who controls the Senate in 2013, the filibuster is dead..
If the Dems hold on, Reid will change the filibuster to something that gives the Dems a chance to get things done...
but if the GOP takes the Senate, they will gut the filibuster just exactly for what you said... they will not give the Dems a chance to do to them what they have been doing to us.
In November we all not only must vote for President Obama but we all will have to make sure that we vote straight for all Democrats. That will be the way we can get majority in both Senate and the House and Democrats can start to move the country forward.
forward... toward what? The edge of the cliff?
Hi everyone, MD, I'm good. and you
Hey Dawn - Good to hear that you are Well !!! Yep Im OK !!! Thanks !!!
sure they will - and frogs will grow WINGS so they don't bump their tender ASSES when they JUMP, too...
IF they were to somehow "win", WE ALL LOSE! (unless one is a top 10% person.)
Good to here you are good too MD.
Hi juststatingitasitisnot,
You left out a word in your post.
The Hill is a conservative newspaper so they do not speak with liberals.
@MDMI
Is that a real six pac?
Ron NY, Very good point ! I guess at this point i want to see the bunch of then being re pubs and tea party get there come up ins! They have held this nation hostage for 4 years, They nearly destroyed it 8 years before that and now they would parade a liar and cheat out as there fearless leader! Have they no shame , no moral decency ?They have sank so low in there pig sty that the pigs won't even wallow with them!
@Ron, promise?? Just kidding, I know you can't promise. I don't think the filibuster will be dead per se but I believe (or hope) it will be changed back to what the real definition of a filibuster is.
Ethel - Thats A 30 Pack - He heehheheeeee !!!! How Are You This Day ??
@CA,
http://www.nytimes.com/2012/07/19/us/politics/poll-shows-economic-fears-undercutting-obama-support.html?_r=1&pagewanted=all
What about this poll? Is the NY Times a Conservative newspaper?
Hey there again, MD !!
Actually I think that a whole lot of people who would say that they are a Republican have stopped....being an old school Republican.
This is a thought provoking poll question for me in a lot of ways. I'll share a few things that I've had to think about how I fit into the political spectrum. I've been called liberal, leftist communist, Marxist and some pretty nasty slurs since starting to blog here. I'm sure that most of you know those names were not said to me by those who identify themselves Liberals, Democrats, Progressives, etc., etc.
I believe that I am an old school Conservative with Progressive ideas for how to find solutions for the issues. A fiscal Progressive who doesn't like stupid radical change. Most people who *think* don't agree with everything their party believes as what is "right" thing to do. In no way have I been "severly Conservative". <vbs> Remember, Conservative people....these charlatons aren't you Father's Republican Party anymore.
Learned a lot from my almost entirely Conservative family about their ideas of how things should work and it includes my Step-father and my Mom, when I was with them, who where Democrats that voted for what they thought was in the best interests of the People who live in this great Nation of ours....not just for themselves and they did not ever vote straight tickets. I have followed their lead about that sense of responsibility to their Country ever since the first time I was eligible to cast a ballot and have never voted a straight ticket for the Republican Party since I've been been able to vote.....at least not until now. I don't see myself voting for any "righty" for a very, very long time, if ever. Not going to fall for any sweet nothings that I may hear in the future from them either.....I am *so* over with slight of hand tricks.
Love to watch to Sen. Alan Simpson when he is on NBC, MSNBC, CNN and others....not so much Faux...he holds back in his opinions but, I think, that has a lot to do with the questions that he is asked and unlike a lot of the people in his party, he doesn't dodge the question with an answer that has nothing to do with what was asked. He's an honest man and "real", IMO. I love Sen. John McCain for many reasons too...even though he has his moments that suck and I didn't vote for him because the airhead known as Palin was his VP choice.
BTW, I didn't vote for Obama either but, he has my full support now regardless of some disappointments that I believe are not what a leader should really be. He has been an extremely good President for this Country with great dignity in spite of the bullsh!t that's been thrown at him. Fortunately, he has dodged everything that has come his way, including the kitchen sink. Bush Jr. has nothing on Barry when it comes to avoiding a wild pitch from a person who isn't too very fond of him. Obama steps out of the way and Bush has ducked more than one time. <wink> Obama shows me smooooth among many other abilities and talents. I really like having one of the cool guys as my President. <s>
Anyway, to answer today's poll question....I voted "No." but, yes, the political hacks on the "right" will support the "republican" ideas as they are now. And, I'm just not willing to get on that crazy train.....too late anyway.....that one has already left the station.
@MDMI
Doing Great! Too hot here will melt. Feel bad did not get to Obama/Biden today. Will have a better chance next week!
@Kathe/Tacoma
Heartfelt. I have voted both parties myself. Realised my mistake though early on.
Hi DrillBaby,
Yup.
New York Times poles are never accurate because they have an extremely conservative bias.
Inaugural edition statement:
The same conservative family has controlled the paper since the late 1800s.
The times has a tendency to not include liberals in their poles, which is why the poles are often misleading.
Yep, they will not only go back, but return to the their own ideas on steroids, since they will exploit their advantage of the "right/racists hatred for a non-caucasian President.
Because we are the ones who see that Radical, Right-Wing, Republicans are racist, homophobic, women haters. Republicans know this about themselves but, of course, love to pretend this is not the case.
I have to remind all of you, that the republican party of today is not the party of Abe, Teddy, and Ike. They are the teabaggers now, like a loved one who's become a zombie.
Both parties have change drastically over the years Viewer dear. All one has to do is google wikipedia to find that out !
The John Birch Society is the MAIN fore runner of the Teaparty though. You should look them up. SCARY people.
Of course, if the GOP wins they will have to pay back all those contributors. There will be our tax dollars handed down, in high price contracts. They also will lie about the economy, telling every one it is getting better when in fact there will be off the grid homeless, and poverty stricken people who will be hidden from the rest of us. When Reagan was president, there was unemployment which was not counted, there were homeless who were thrown out of housing by eminent domain laws and the wealthy got so much wealthier than the people started losing power. Pilots went back into earning only $10 per hour. No one questions it because they did not pay any attentions and the leaders took advantage of that.
Oh yes John Birch Society, didn't they start the 'Communist plot to pollute Americans' "precious bodily fluids". [I spared you all of a YouTube link]
That sounds familiar. And then there is Lydon Larouche, too, an old timey John Bircher type guy.
Hey Hope--how's it goin?--
Great comments! You are right on point.
Oh hell, here's the link> Dr. Strangelove
I am okay Rachel, all things considered. I hope all is well with you too !
race? Hmmm - wasn't it the reichwinger's major premise to "Get the N**** OUT OF OUR WHITE HOUSE"??
Hope - you mean "Lyin' LaDouche bag" don't you?
GGGRRRRrrrrrrr - You Did NOT Have To Put It That WAY !!!!!!!!
I'm doing Great Hope--You seem to be back on a roll again--
A little tired, I think I need a slight Vacation, maybe an escape to the Cabins.
Gotta get ready for the full swing that's coming, November will be here before we know it.. Gotta get the Vote Out, and with so many stipulations this year, It's making things a lot harder.
Thanks again MD--I kinda thought the same thing, but kept it to myself
You Bet Sweety = That was Uncalled For --- Even Though "c" May have been trying to make a point about the 4th Reich !!!!
Hi Rachael, Yeah, PA in a bad place for voters; over 700,000 disenfranchised by the GOP T-party governor. It's a travesty. Obama could lose what has always been a bastion of Democratic votes. A very large state with lots of electoral votes, and don't the ba@#$%^s know it!
Man, they're slick. They don't care what they have to do to win.
Hey India--long time no see--yes it is, these guys know they will lose if they play fair, so they are using all kind of underhanded tactics, to win this election--I just hope it backfires right back in their faces, in full force..
India - Nice Slippers !!!!!!
Hope maybe you have really hit on something. The parties have changed , for that fact the whole world has. Countries that once were no longer exist. Russia dissolved as the USSR, the Berlin Wall feel. Many countries have been at war. The Internet was born, NAFTA, Euro. Nothing is set in stone and we as a nation have fell. I wonder will we find our way back or are we ever suppose to? We as people want that safe place to fall, peace and to be treated with respect and dignity. There is enough hate in the world to fill the oceans . I feel with this election this year 2012 we are coming to two real choices and if we do not pick wisely we will be changed for ever.
Hey Pam--how are you--Love your comment girlfriend..
Check out " Mitt Romney history" while growing up , a member of Mormon Church; leaders of the Church taught him to hate people of color, all his life. He was taught to believe that black people had been cursed by God. therefore, the Church did not allowed them into the Church. as of today, fellow church members (white people) in which the ideas come up again, again what is calls racist teachings in his Church.
So, the question is, is Romney one or part of white supremacist group or Ku Klux Klan (KKK) member ? Most people know that the GOP and the Tea party are eigher white supremacist, white Nationalism, Anti-immigration. The Republicans parties want to take this country back to the days of hates, racism, prejudice, and lowest enconmic growth in history. Unemployment, Povery, and taxs will sky rocket. The GOP do not have a plan for jobs creations, If they say, they do; they are Lying. Jobs creation mean more spending by the Government which they are trying to cut spending, See, what I means! one thing is certain, Romney, and the GOP will steal President Obama ideas/or Bills on jobs creations, and then they will take credit for it. Because that what they are good at STEALING!!! All in the name of MONEY for the Wealthy peoples.
Hi, Pam!! It's wonderful to see you on the blog as usual !
Change can be so good and also some can be *so* bad. These r/tp's ideas for change will finish us off for sure.
Obama/Biden....the only choice to go FORWARD in 2012 and beyond !!
Yes Rachel. I have enough energy today to be able to participate in this political blog that I love. I have times when I can sit in front of my computer and type passionately about politics and other times -- sometimes for days on end -- where I cannot do that. I hope this pattern does not come across as some kind of personality disorder (☺☻☺☻☺ ) as some of my fellow bloggers may have concluded. I am just battling some profound health issues with no medical insurance. But I live by this awesome old Jewish Proverb : " I ask not for lighter burdens but for broader shoulders. "
now listen folks - pulling punches and ALLOWING the reichwing to do/say whatever the WISH only provides them sustenance. I won't apologize for what I perceive as a concerted effort to "cleanse" the white house.and neither will THEY (although THEY will make an effort to CONCEAL the act from YOU) THEY are "evil" and MOTIVATED.; The way to put "them" in their place is to turn out Nov 6 and VOTE (particularly AGAINST EVERY LYING TEABAGGER ELECTED IN 2010.)
@--Hope--- just read your message this morning--I'm sorry to here that you have been sick-I have asked about you, but didn't get a reply of your where-abouts, or situation.
This is why I will continue to fight for the re-election of our President, No one should suffer, just because they can't get the medical help they need. Just because our elected officials want to keep their pockets fat, and support the people who does it, instead of the people who really need them to fight for them.
My healing prayers are with you, and I hope you will soon be able to have the health care you deserve. Stay Strong.
And when you need a laugh, just go back over the days when Wacko was still with us, and read some of his/her post. I'm sure you will be LOL in no while..My fight is for you, and just know, no matter what the party of hell no, try to do to stop the health care reform.--.Help Is On The way---
Hope, I, too, am sorry to hear you have been ill. Doesn't the ACA, with its clause for preexisting conditions, help you? Has hat part not kicked in yet? What about Medicaid or Medicare? SS disability. I hate to think of you having no insurance.
Hope, can you e-mail me? Larry, Pam, and Kathe have my current e-mail. Not the Harvard one on record, it is old and won't work. I am not sure how to e-mail you, or I would.
No, because they don't even know what that means anymore.
Hi, Lou Ann.
Exactly! It seems that most of them haven't a clue what a "real" Republican is anymore It seems most of them, as leaders, don't have *any* good ideas either. The name Willard comes to mind first....a list of them could go from here to November and beyond. No, no, no....don't need their kind around.
all the GOP has are their indoctrinated views. nothing new or helpful ever, just the same old tired remarks & 19th century beliefs. as long as they cater to the rich, THEY re just fine
Trickle down on steriods.....Youbetcha!
Trick-U-All economics!
you mean that www won't give us a better economy? To busy counting his own money and fixing the lies he told on his tax returns.
The Right want big breaks for Job Makers -
They won't see that the Rich are Job Fakers...
The Poor should be leery -
Their Trickle-Down Theory
Is pissing all over Job Takers...
Its trickling me off!
David, I have came to the conclusion the tea Party is steeped with hate. No matter what blog you are on they all drink the same tea and say the same. There truly is a radical element being unleashed. The puge of voters, the relenless propoganda being pushed. They would call us liberals i call us concerned citizens for the poor and middle class. They are for the rich, the elite among us. The two visions are crystal clear and Obama values are mine.
LOL xxxooo . . . it's the ' pickle down theory ' . . . the Republican Radicals get us all in a pickle as the juice runs down our economy !
HOPE, Thats a good one then can we call the Re pubs sour pickles as well!
@David M. Johnston
Please publish a book of these delightful limericks.
@Pam 52
That would make all republicans 'Lemon Suckers'...
Sorry I missed your comment Pam dear. That sounds like a great name for the Republicans for sure !!
Pam 52, I think the T-party is the most radical group in the history of the country and the most dangerous. They are in the disguise of a grass-roots organization, but in fact are funded by the Koch brothers, and are puppets to their weird ideology. What one needs to know about them is this. THEY VOTE. We need to be as rabidly into voting as they are or we'll never defeat them. Millions of Koch money are behind them.
What they have done to congress is to obstruct the running of the government. That, to me, is treasonous.
They are as racist as the KKK. Don't be fooled. Consider that their idea of a great presidential candidate was Michele (Nobody's home) Bachmann.
Teapublicans of a feather frock together. On the other hand their masters haven't told them yet what way to go.
We know you are, go. You don't have to tell us.That information has been confirmed. You will have to "go" one better.
don't forget Rush has first say then Beck has the inside scoop.......before fox has a say.......so say the Koch's.........
Whoever has the gold makes the rules, eh, go?
Don't forget "you people" don't understand. LOL, Pompous rich people who only care about themselves and others like them. Poor to middle class people who want to vote for these people have something wrong with their brains. How can you ever vote for someone who so openly hates you?
DAVID M. JOHNSTON - Lets just hope that their GOLD becomes MOLD since that's what they are full of.
Ha ha ha, thanks for making me laugh xxx, Ted, Tmom. That was funny and I agree.
Hey goto:
I have a brief question....is your nic what you have embroidered in your underwear so you don't forget?
Kathe, Time for the Ode?
#9.
Yes, it will be the same ol' boy, mentality, cater to the rich and forget the middle class and poor. Oh, wait, I almost forgot, "the middle class is disappearing"
You got that right CB, They can't be as rich as they are with a strong middle class, they need all that money for themselves.
No Way!! Not even Mitt can get his base to think alike.
No Way!! Mitt can't wrangle those crazies to think alike.
They not only will support them, they will go so far to the right that the T-party will rule them; the T-party and its founder and funder, David Koch. That will be the New Republican Party. A few billionaires parading as a grass roots organization.
It would be funny I suppose, but nothing they do makes me feel like laughing. I find the lot of them to be morally bankrupt and criminally negligent.
And then there's their candidate: a Wall Street toady, a draft dodger, a corporate raider, a tax evader,.......an empty suited, hollow man of unimaginable wealth....and many, many, many secrets.
Thank God he will lose, because if he doesn't, America will.
India, First of all love your avatar! Mitt the flip flopper! You have stated the whole truth about them. And the critique on Romney is stellar! I hope he looses because you are right we will. He would create jobs all right out source Americans to China for slave labor!
I agree, with you Pam about india, great avatar, and right on on everything else.
Hi Dawn and Pam, Thanks, but if this political business isn't bad enough, the baseball game is AWFUL! The Pirates are losing to Chicago!!!! LOL They're acting like they never hit a ball!
and remember folks - DON'T GET COMPLACENT - that was HOW we got stuck with the TEABAGGERS in the FIRST PLACE IN 2010!! VOTE!! Obama 2012!
Hi India, LOL, sorry bout your baseball-ers, I don't follow sports, but good luck with whoever your routing for.
Hey India!
Love the new avitar. sorry about the baseball game I love to play but watching the game I fall asleep. sorry.
Ethelouise, I WISH I'd slept through tonight's game between my Pirates and the Chicago Cubs. Even Andrew McCutchen acted like he'd forgotten how to hit a ball. It was the same last night. Deja vu all over again! Yikes! J. Mac kept walking the Cubs! It was awful!
I am glad everyone of my friends likes my avatar. Thanks!
Gotoleft, I really am not familiar with the players in Seattle.
Did any of you hear O'Donnell's take on the NRA and freedom tonight. It was amazing! He has a great show.
Ya, goto, I double hitter of bad.
I really do get down for a while when our M's lose players because of trades or retirement. Get attached to them and what they do for our communities.
ARod is the exception. Pfffft.
IF they defeat President Obama (a pretty big IF), Republicans will HAVE to improve the lot of Independants and immigrants, or they will be signing the Death Warrant of the Republican Party... Only by trying to redeem themselves in the sight of American voters will they get re-elected...
Of course, some idiots will vote Republican, whether their lot in life improves or not... But, the more people they piss off, the less chance they stay in charge... Money advantage or not...
@David M. Johnston
I am hoping that Flip Robme will suffer the fate of Meg Whitman who spent a buttload of money in California and still lost. She lost to Jerry Brown who didn't even spend one tenth of the money she did...
ObamacareRomneycare was a republican idea.If they ever got back in, they would re-claim it.
In a New York minute!
xxxooo and TM, They absolutely would! They are shameless.
It sure was wasn't it. LOL, I wonder if the (R)'s know that. LOL, maybe we should tell them. /s/
The Republican Party returning too its ways are as nature as Farting
It is farting in the wind, isn't it. What ever it is, it stinks.
I wonder what the Koch thrown was going to look like? Were they planning to put towers on the White House?
Poll: Romney preferred over Obama to handle the economy
By Susan Page, USA TODAY
WASHINGTON – Despite concerted Democratic attacks on his business record, Republican challenger Mitt Romney scores a significant advantage over President Obama when it comes to managing the economy, reducing the federal budget deficit and creating jobs, a national USA TODAY/Gallup Poll finds
By Charles Dharapak, AP
Mitt Romney is preferred over President Obama on the economy, despite attacks on his record at Bain Capital, according to a new USA TODAY/Gallup Poll.
By Charles Dharapak, AP
Mitt Romney is preferred over President Obama on the economy, despite attacks on his record at Bain Capital, according to a new USA TODAY/Gallup Poll.
By more than 2-1, 63%-29%, those surveyed say Romney's background in business, including his tenure at the private equity firm Bain Capital, would cause him to make good decisions, not bad ones, in dealing with the nation's economic problems over the next four years.
The findings raise questions about Obama's strategy of targeting Bain's record in outsourcing jobs and hammering Romney for refusing to commit to releasing more than two years of his tax returns. Instead, Americans seem focused on the economy, where disappointment with the fragile recovery and the 8.2% unemployment rate are costing the president.
Then screw the economy. I don't want a damn liar for a president and that is exactly the outstanding trait of Romney. He is the biggest LIAR in a world where everything he says is on tape to be refuted. And he thinks the American people are stupid enough to vote for him anyway. Sadly, a swath of them are stupid enough to vote for him and against their own benefit simply because of their bigotry and the hate speech and lies that they have hungrily soaked up in order to justify their hatred. That's my observation and I'm pretty observant.
How far we would have fallen from the George Washington saying, "I cannot tell a lie" to Romney who can't tell the truth on anything. He is lower than low, a disgrace to the country and I can't even listen to him any more. I just mute him or change the channel. I hope he stays in Europe.
Right On Nancebelle ! Romney, The-Etch-A-Sketch man wears asbestos pants because he lies so much.
Romney has openly stated he will do EXACTLY the same things that caused the economic disaster.
Then Romney will blame it on democrats.
Right after he tackles Harry Reid and cuts off his hair.
Good one Crack !
I'd like to see him shave Trump. I think the Donald believes there is power in his hair or why else would he want to look like an idiot. Must be bald under that bath mat he wears on his head.
LOL, Nance, I always say why doesn't he buy some decent hair, thus you must be right about him thinking it has power LOL.
juststatingitasitis The exact wording of the poll question:
Now this is not my reply but that of The Democratic Underground [A good one at that] http://www.democraticunderground.com/10021010983
TM,#15 Ivory towers, I hear!
Hi, Nancebelle!!
Willard (in the morning): I cannot tell the truth. Wait a minute, I lied about that statement.
Willard (that same day in the afternoon): I cannot tell a lie, but I don't get what this lie thing is about.
Willard (a week later): I don't know what I said but, if I said it, it was a lie.
Willard (in an interview with Chris Wallace): I cannot tell....ah, ah, I'll maybe let you know that after I'm in the White House.
NO Its too late they have been committed to insanity!
This was fun......try it.
http://www.trickymitt.org/?id=46957-23258967-KRu3pxx
TM , That was fun. I shared it with FB!
I put "His dog ate it! And he can't find a hose!
Or His dog ate it! And he needs a faster car!
I put he is hiding his tax returns be cause he dotted his all his "i's" with little smiley faces.
He deducted his five grandmothers and claimed that Supper Hit was a total loss after the law suit.
He doesn't want Ann to know how much money she has to spend on Sweaters and Nail jobs.
Now that the SLC Olympics have shredded their documents, I am willing to bet Romney made out like the bandit he is on that sweet deal!
A man of many secrets. Let's find out what they are!
How in the he$# did he get away with using his Dressage horse as a $75,000.00 tax deduction!? That is not a business expense, nor a charitable one! No one questions that.
Hey, India!!
I want to know where those MA computers are and, if they aren't destroyed already, what's on them.
This
Mormonmoron needs to get vetted and time's a wastin'!!If you want jobs in the USA buy Made in the USA! But a raise would really help!!!
Instead of people working 2 or 3 jobs put those people on full time, Instead of using the unemployment fund loophole.
I would like to see the law change as far as people who work part time, Their employers get out from paying into the fund for unemployment because if you work less than 32 hours they need not pay in! Its one BIG loophole and more and more people are working these jobs If they can find a job at all. So they are on a life line unemployment compensation and it hasn't the funding and add to the shared National deficit. I suggest that all employers pay in regardless of hours it would encourage employers to put them on full time and help the unemployment fund from adding to the deficit. The way it is hurting this country in so many ways and is not fair to those who work two or more jobs and if they lose employment though no fault of their own are left with no unemployment benefits this loop hole should come to and end as workers, taxpayer and the government has been taken advantage of. This must change!
xxx--I'm with you on that. It's a scam to keep from paying benefits to those poor folks who work hard and are kept below the line. It's another trick by corporations to boost their profits by screwing their hard-working employees.
Another corporate crime.
So right, even companies that used to hire full time, now only hire part time so they don't have to pay any benefits. Something's gotta give somewhere or this country is screwed.
XXX - I try my best to buy AMERICAN MADE but unfortunately some of the things I need are made in china ( YUK ).There are times you got no choice in the matter.
Hi Nancebelle! Hope things are fine with you..long time no posts with you!
Old Republicans use to be at least reasonable. Now its our way or no highway! Teatards gotta go away in 2012!
Ted, if all the jobs were here, and paid well, we could afford to pay more for things we need to buy and live better too. Don't you think? Unfortunately so much is made outside of the U.S even if its a U.S. company.
I think they should just make it too expensive for these companies to go out of the country with their labor. Make them pay ridiculous penalties to sell their products here if they don't make them here.
They are just obstructing because they want to get Obama out of office.
The first thing Repug do when they are in power is TRIPLE THE SIZE OF GOV to lower the unemployment rate, then they say hey look the unemployment rate is down
That is EXACTLY what Reagan, Bush #1, and Bush #2 did.
Eisenhower is the only one that didn't do that.
And unemployment went UP under every republican president for the past 100 years despite cannibalizing social security and spending all the money to purchase voters that are too ignorant to recognize the problem.
We've got to scrub the Congress clean of ALL rethugs. It's the only way we can go forward. If we don't, we will see our middle class disappear. And that means All of us will be stepped on.
This election will decide if we are going to allow corporations and the Koch Bros and their ilk to buy our government and screw the American people. We will no longer be the United States of America. We will be the Corporation of America. Don't let down this country.
C.A. You said the other day "I smell a rat" And Bachmann is that rat leaking info and it seems clear they want to part ways with her and Palin! Toxic waste The Democrats don't need to do a thing as I will suspect both of them have seen their last days of insane statements. Maybe Bachmann can get her own show about her 24 children she has under her roof.
That's the truth. They spend like it's Christmas all year round, then they leave a mess when a Democrat finally gets in there, and say they are the ones spending. Give us a break.
you said 'repug' kudos to you.. ugly comments not befitting a lean government .. = repugnicanism... we salute you.
Yup.
I think Bohner is ready to revoke Bachmann's top secret clearance because he has finally figured out the elevator don't reach the top floor.
crackheadawards, I agree. She needs to have her security clearance removed and then she needs to be committed.
She is dangerously crazy. So is Rush Limbaugh. Commit him, too. What a freak! Put them in a padded room together.
I think they will and then pretend that these are new ideas.
Hey, gotoLeft... just a note about what you had said. While historically the folks that started the KKK may have voted Dem at that time, those people, the southern democrats, switched parties about the Civil Rights era. Those that were southern Dems are now southern Repugs. Look it up to verify the issues why they switched. So while parties maintain, orientation, and some ideals over time, they do change and in this instance, the southerners switched from hating Repugs bc it was the party of Lincoln, to hating the Dems because they were the party of Civil Rights.
