Attention "nail ladies" and babysitters: You just don't understand!
On the day before President Obama stood up for an extension of the middle class tax cut and the expiration of tax cuts for the wealthy, Mitt Romney was holding three fundraisers in the Hamptons on Long Island, New York.
At one point, country's ultra-rich, who drove their Bentleys, Porsches and Mercedes-Benzes to the events, had to sit idle in a line of 30 cars long.
"Is there a V.I.P. entrance?” one woman shouted. "We are V.I.P."
With no such entrance available, they were forced to sit waiting to get in, providing the perfect opportunity to pass the time talking to waiting journalists.
That's when anonymous female passenger in a Range Rover with East Hampton beach permits complained to the Los Angeles Times that "nobody understands why Obama is hurting them."
"We've got the message," she said. "But my college kid, the baby sitters, the nails ladies -- everybody who's got the right to vote -- they don't understand what's going on. I just think if you're lower income -- one, you're not as educated, two, they don't understand how it works, they don't understand how the systems work, they don't understand the impact."
Where is the V.I.P. entrance, indeed.

Whenever I start to think about moving to China or India, I will send my resume to Mitt Robme. Oops! I don't have to, I've already got connections in those places. The only way anyone will ever benefit from being connected with Robme is if they are his Bain Capitol buddies. We need job creation in THIS COUNTRY and that has not been proven to be Robme's strong point. Say what you want about Mr. Etch-a-sketch and spin it any way you can. The only real information anyone can get Mitt say about what he is going to do if he got into office was that he plans to tear down everything President Obama has accomplished. I also believe he will try to take credit for getting Bin Lauden and pulling the U.S. auto industry back from where the previous administration had left it. Mittens didn't want the government to step in and assist the auto industry, he said, "we should just let them go broke", and the market would straighten things out". Mittens didn't mention that him and his Bain buddies were waiting for bankruptcy so they could sweep in and buy the whole automotive industry for pennies on the dollar.
I've dealt with democrats, independents, and republicans most of my life. My Grandfather was a national democratic conventioneer and pretty good friends with Albert Rosellini, Warren Magnuson, and Henry M. Jackson. I was lucky enough to be able to sit around and listen to these great men talk. I am now an independent but I've remembered these men telling me basically republicons and democrats are good people and working for the best of America. They just have different ideas of how to get there. When I got older and started to vote 1968, I could kind of see what the meant. This country has always operated at it's highest levels when we work from different points of view and then work on a mutual compromise for the benefit of all. I'm not sure when or how our processes to run this country became so antagonistic, but I do believe I saw the start of it with Reagan's second term. Ronald Reagan turned on the common people after he achieved office. Before that he claimed to be a democrat, he was head of a major union (the Actor's Guild). After achieving office he turned on unions. gays. claimed to be a family man but had very little to do with a lot of family, especially his children. He was also a leader of outsourcing jobs, while he was promoting theory America should get out of manufacturing and become a service oriented nation. Was he going to turn the whole country into a tourist trap? He changed his views on immigration. He set the first world class deficit in modern times. One of his favorite saying while he was in office was, "I spending my children's inheritances". This was a republican idea of success, not a democrats. Is this now the goal of the republicans now? To leave nothing to the next generation, through reverse mortgages, no money for advanced school, no medical coverage, trillions of dollars to be paid for by our children, and last of all. Are we going to educate our own young, when our schools are being filled with foreign students who are being supported and paid for their own countries in order to compete against our own under-educated children in the global market. It seems that the modern republican party wants to not only bring the country to that point, but even worse than that, they want to take us back to the proven FAILED POLICIES of the last administration
Since I have been informed that WHOMITMAY has made some unsubstantiated accusations against me, let me address them in no uncertain terms.
I am not a re-reg of any sort. I have never been registered as Captain America or Captain Entitled or any other name on this board. I dare him or anyone else to find and post any racist statement that I have made. I realize that by issuing that challenge, he will probably search the history of my comments and find some obscure reference to something that I said and claim it to be racist, but given his history of racist statements, he has no ground to stand on. My stance on topics such as VOTER ID and Zimmerman are well known and documented, however, even during that, I have not made any racist statements and I stand behind the comments that I have made.
If the moderator on this board wants to go back and check to see if I am a re-reg of Captain anything, please do so and ban me if it is true. However, if the moderator on this board truly wants to be fair,( which I know they really don't because otherwise most of the regular posters on this board would have already been banned for inflammatory comments) WHOM should be suspended or banned for his comments and accusations.

TRFjr, manicurists, for the most part, are self-employed. They rent their booth and pay the owner-of-the-business-name to operate their business there. The only way they can get a raise is to work longer hours, raise their prices and/or squeeze in more clients. They also have to pay for their own health insurance. You might be able to find some manicurists who actually work for a "wage" but they are probably fresh out of school. And then their boss takes 1/2 of everything they make.
But he can afford to take home that 200k still right?

The average white guy's complaint that Obama is not like them? well he plays a lot of golf, basketball, drinks brew and muslims don't drink (like Mormon Mitt) nor eat pork/ham (Obama does), dedicated fan of the original American sports especially Chicago pro teams (Mitt doesn't follow any sports except dressage horse shows), and even sings popular music well - Obama is a lot more like the average white guy than Mitt. Now to top it off he has done the most important things average white guys wanted -1. killed Bin Laden and many radical muslim terrorists plus freed Libya from Kadafi, 2. deported the most illegal immigrants and increased Border Patrolling, 3. saved our American auto/truck/parts makers from collapse with loans they pay back, 4. fights for middle class and all non-rich worker and family tax breaks and healthcare affordable access... these are all a lot more than you can expect from Mitt.
