The Repugnicans won't stop using gas prices as a political ploy until their big oil company owners are displaced by some other source of energy as the primary fuel source for transportation!
They'll use anything and everything they can to spin their distortions and lies around. I find I have become psychologically conditioned, like Pavlov's dog. No, I don't drool when I hear a bell, but every time a republican opens their mouth, I become extremely repulsed. If their lips are movin', they are lying. I still can't get past that 3 day rant Limbaugh did on Sandra Fluke.
Of course not. Either their leaders have no clue how the "free" market works or just are liars. Their base just follows the leaders instead of educating themselves. So what's new?
They really need to rename this party, the clown party.

Hey, it's been a tough slog, but things are coming around. There's a large consensus that the housing market has bottomed out. That's key. The automakers continue doing well. Building permits are growing. Manufacturing is generally doing better. It's a little uneven, but there is a lot of good economic news out there.

Since the Supreme Court upheld the ACA, the GOP is throwing whatever it can think of at the President. They may be solidifying their base but they are not gaining more followers from outside their crazy base.

I have an idea for the (R)'s. Remember their idea for lesbians, with the fence etc. I think they need their own little section of the U.S. where they can be happy together. I wonder how long they will last without the federal government. No Social Security, No Medicare for seniors. In fact any(R) who is elderly should give up their Soc. Sec. and Medicare on principal since they don't want the government in their lives.

They use every rant as a distraction of their racism toward Obama. I paid $2.99 for gas yesterday, but no they don't mention the price of gas now. McConnell will be on TV tomorrow sayng "gas is higher than it has been in 4 years and Obama wants it to keep going higher.
I know, they are so misinformed by fox not news and they truly believe we are the uninformed ones. Even when you smack them in the head with truth, they have a comeback of ridiculousness. How do they not see they are being brainwashed.

I could care less what gas prices are. I wish the Federal Government would use the Federal taxes that you and I pay per gallon of gas, on infrastrusture. That amount is fixed per gallon. It is not a percentage and doesn't change with gas prices. It is guaranteed revenue.
Instead they throw it into the General Fund and then complain that we don't have any money for infrastructure. It's all BS. Wake up people.
We're all getting 'played' by our elected officials. The money we're being taxed for is not being spent on what it's supposed to pay for. Federal gas taxes are not being spent on infrastructure.
Also, speculators are not afraid of this Administration's enery policy. Until we either do or threaten to open up drilling in the Gulf and Federal lands, oil speculators will scoff at this President and his Administration.
Just an FYI gas prices were about $1.86 per gallon when Obama took office.
You better believe there is global warming. You'd have to be a complete idiot to deny it. And now we see that Republicans are denying it because of money. Figures. They don't want their corporations to have to take responsibility for pollution and lose some of their record profits.

Exactly right. They believe that its a hoax. My answer to that is who benefits from us believing in global warming?...the planet! On the other hand who benefits if we believe it's a hoax?.....Billionaire oil companies etc.!
We are all going to discover, probably too late, that material wealth is a meaningless illusion. Real wealth is found in a healthy planet that has an abundant and diverse plant and animal population. Think of an old growth forest and all the complex relationships of co-dependency among all of its inhabitants. That is a "climax ecosystem." That is where real wealth is found. May we all realize this soon, and be kind to Mother Earth.

I remember that, she asked or stated something about not going after the banks, what the tea party was actually based on until they were bought off, and he yelled that he didn't want to hear about the banks anymore, they weren't the problem or something like that.
