Americans will not acknowledge the importance of Obamacare until a member of their immediate family or loved one is denied a medical procedure or medicine to enhance their quality of life or prevent death.
Yes, but even that won't change some people's minds. Instead, they are blindly locked into a pattern of hatred of anything Obama does.
I'm afraid not Ed.---.I really don't see why they just don't give this one to Mitt, I mean he took credit for the auto-bail-out, Why not tell the truth about his healthcare plan-- If they could tell the truth, now, would be a good the time. People are starting to want to learn more about Healthcare.. Because it's the truth Romney care-was an template on the making of The Health Care Reform.. This could help Mitt out a little bit, but since they will never tell the truth, on any subject, They will never admit that Romney for once in his life, had a great plan, when He offered healthcare to for his State.

How can they quit lying about the health care when they can't quit lying about everything else? They have mastered the art of lying so well that if the truth hit them between the eyes, they wouldn't know what it was! Beats all I have ever seen.

Since the Reagan revolution the 1% have gotten a huge break: building and buying 3rd and 4th houses, gifting more and more to their children, creating their dynasties. It's all about losing that edge and having to share in paying any additional tax to help the middle class. If Obama cut them a Bush size tax cut they would all love him. It's all about sharing: they can't stand the idea of sharing their bloated wealth. Nothing else: just the threat of increased taxes. The fact that they can make their base believe it's anything else is sad, sad, sad!

A great actor he was. Liberal by today's conservative standards. His friends were super-wealthy: publishing and defense industry. They got him to fix the future for them. Incredible wealth has been accumulated in a few hands since then. The war machine was greased well by President Reagan. Romney of course wants to continue that. The uber-wealthy like waging war. At the rate the republicans are going, they are going to explode. It is a shame to think that only a white man can be president. President Obama wants the best for everyone. He is the only President that has been portrayed as Hitler and everything in between. America is composed of many immigrants who have come to America to make their lives better for them and their families--this is why this country is so great. The republican hysteria and their dire predictions about every, program that has been proposed and passed by democrats, such as social security, and medicare, have been the same talking points by the same echo chamber republican alarmists, for over seven decades! Their claims about how socialist these programs are have always proven to be just the opposite! They actually turn out to be good for the American people! I dont think any polticians on either side will quit liying. Look at Romney and Obama they both said that the mandate was not a tax. The Supreme Court just ruled that they both are liers. The fact is both dems and repuks lie that is just the plain ole facts.

For healthcare I will pay any tax. It's just a 3 letter word. And it applies to those who can afford coverage and choose not to purchase it, thus, the rest of us pay for their healthcare. Shouldn't they pay SOMETHING for their healthcare like the rest of us? Why should WE pay for them? They can afford it. They need to pay a tax for dumping the cost onto us.

I just watched the video its going to be more than one tax and I coulnt help but to see one tax that was just for the fair skined (white) race. The only people who use tanning salons are fair skinned people. This is a form of racism because Latinos, Asians, African American and Indians dont use tanning salons. Also the one dicthing out the money was Uncle Sam ( the tax payer). Also I didnt see any increase in doctors to cover the 32 million new Patients. Also will it be mandatory for all doctors to take medicare, medicaid or what ever voucher Uncle Sam gives them? Im afraid that this thing is going to blow up in our faces, I hope Im wromg but I think there will be more patients than doctors.
high rolla---just think how many new doctors we will have by 2014--they graduate every year..Believe me I don't think we will ever have a shortage of doctors, and lawyers..Maybe the tax will stop people from giving themselves cancer,. this tax increase has been in the making for years now, anyway..This is not a tax rate,. please research it, and you will know exactly how it is going to work. plus the President said, he is willing to go over it again, to work out all the kinks.
I hope so because it will be ashame to have health care and no doctor to go to. However the tanning salon tax is a 10% tax and I would bet my bottom dollar alot of people getting tans make less than 250,000. So in fact when President Obama said nobody that made below 250, 000 would be taxed in any way was not excatly accurate. I think the video mention at least 6 taxes in it.
I think we are putting the cart before the horse..You can't know what will work, unless you at least give it a trial run..It's not time to pull the scare tactic out of the hat yet.. I'm sure it's wore out by now anyway. I think we all should just give it a chance, before we form our opinions.. Like you I don't want to see a rise in taxes either.

How does this sound. Everybody pays for their own healthcare. There would be no need for expensive government bureaus. If you can't afford it, you're of no use to anyone anyway. No great loss.

Ed, the Reps have been studying the demographics for several years now. They realize the the majority is becoming the minority. They do not care if the minority races get an education (why not put 60 students to one teacher). These people do not need to be educated. They do not want the minorities to have health care (let them get sick and die). That is why they do not care to do anything about the jobs bill, because they are hoping that poverty sets in so that the minorities turn to criminal activities so that they can "stand their ground" and shoot to kill.
Better be careful that the repukes can never find you. they might stand their ground and shoot to kill. It they can't win rightfully, they will stupe to that level!

I think that the democrats should run candidates that pretend to be conservative Tea party bigots, then when they are elected, they can turn back into real democrats! This tactic works for the republicans, why not do it ourselves! Betray the right wing extremists, by pretending to be one of them! That way we will win control of congress and the senate and turn our country back over to the people! Stop the plutocracy and oligarchy takeover! It's imperative that we do this before it's too late! Stop whining and compalining and use one of the republicans' own tactics from their own playbook!

If you ever want to stump a repub, just ask them to name and describe one concrete Romney policy. And give details.
The lies will continue. It would be interesting to know the connection between the congressmen who are so opposed to the President's plan and the insurance companies' lobbyist. Have these congressmen rec'd contributions from these insurance companies? What do these insurance companies and congressmen have to lose with the American Public having a "Public Option".
