The Republicans are just pissed off because Obama took a trophy off the self of the once republican idea. Healthcare will do nothing but drop in cost even before the law goes into full force. I say this because it will make for competition between companies and it may be at first they will increase coverage but ultimately they will drop premiums and because everybody will be covered and no more people getting rushed to the emergency room costs must fall!
Even now it looks as if the people have taken in the ACA as a great idea and nothing but good will come from it, the exception being the CEOs of the insurance industry. It gives the democrats a great talking point over teapublicans! If they do not change their tactics they will lose in a landslide and they know it but the Tee Potty will seal their doom if the reg-repubs don't make a clean break from them. Folks I gotta tell ya its getting interesting! But we GOTTA get out the VOTE otherwise its all for nothing and we don't want that!
ACA is a good start and getting it to work across the huge United States will take time. This is the problem with the ACA vice what Gov. Romney did in Massachusetts. Massachusetts is much smaller and culturally similar so implementing the Massachusetts law was fairly easily accomplished in about a year's time frame. When dealing with 50 states that could be divided up into at least five different regional entities or individual countries. California itself has about the same number of people as some larger European countries. Reforming one-sixth of the U.S. economy just takes time, especially implementation of the law. Americans just love to fight each other.
In Germany or Holland countries have a debate but when a decision is made and been put into place it seldom gets changed until something truly better comes along. Americans perpetually love to be at one another's throats. British people don't fight about abortion or health care or women's reproductive health or if the trains should run on time. They decided long ago that all these things were necessary even though certain segments of the society disliked them. The role of government has also been decided long ago. American society seems to be much more deeply fractured, polarized and volatile. While these observations are nothing new, the problem is extremely acute today. Americans argue about pointless things that European societies settled long ago. The conservatives fight on about ACA but the decision has been made and gone through all three branches of government: legislative, executive, and judicial. Why don't conservatives admit that the ball game is over with so they can move onto something else like job creation? God forbid Americans actually work together to build the country up by building state of the art bullet trains and infrastructure. In the meantime the Europeans are at least 20 years or more ahead of us in green energy and state of the art infrastructure. Go ride a TGV bullet train or German Inter City Express train and you'll understand what I am talking about. Societal consensus and public sector investments can be a good thing because no man or woman is an island.
Repubs' have a notion amongst its Tea Party members especially that if they get elected and "sat" mightlly on the government's systems, they can subvert the Democrat* ability to aid Americans.
What is missed is the unintended consequence. When you over-tweak a system this large you will always activate this "law".
Seque to Chief Justice Roberts, he swerved conservatives and chose fair-minded treatment of the law and demonstrated that he respects the members of his Court and the Public he is sworn to service. A bought and positioned republican juror: In the present political climate we are left to wonder what could have been brought down on us.
Justice Roberts did not have to do what he did (I read the Opinion in its entirety). He could have quantified his vote using case law, just as easily as he qualified it using case law. This time-he deserves the kudos he is getting.
So keep "tweaking" Tea party republicans. Let us see what happens next!

Bloomberg is talking gas! NOW
Another typically stupid question from Fat Ed and his legion of mouth-breathing followers. What will be the next question from the corpulent one - "Mr. Romney when will you stop beating your wife?"
Just another question he won't answer! Or how many!
Will tea bagged republicans ever get enough smarts to figure out that lying for the tea bagged GOP is as natural as it is for Boner to weep in the house.
Obamneycare is good for America!!!!!Thank you Romney & Obama. You both can agree on something!!!
What a stupid Poll.....Come on Democrats is that the best you can do? Yes or No! Without any thought any dummy can check YES or NO without any explanation of why they feel the way they do. Asking someone, Will the Republicans stop lying about ObamaCare you are showing your colors......meaning your bias. Why not come out and say the Republican's lying......because the way the question is stated you are saying they are lying and that is all they do is lie.......This question is a good example why very few people watch MSNBC and their rating show what I am saying is correct.......I cannot wait to be called a Troll..LOL
No just another uneducated tea bagged republican. Here is a clue when you refuse to run on your party's and candidates record then all you have left is spread lies about the other guy and try to pull a Dewey in the hopes that by making Obama look bad your candidate will not have to take a stand.
Hey Whomy,
You just stated exactly the Democrat Obumer campaign strategy!! I never thought you were that smart.
A long-standing ovation goes to the great, great, great, great, great actor and man: MR. ANDY GRIFFITH.
Genuine love and applause accompany you....
