Actual I got the facts from the Supreme Court.They ruled it unconstitutional under the commerce clause. However it was ruled constitutional as a tax. It is a tax according to the highest court in the land.
So your payroll tax is down 2% to 5%, your income tax is 400 lower or 800 lower if you are married. the only land your taxes went up is faux land. If you make less than 70k a year, you might just get some premium support. If anyone on your policy gets sick there will be no letter comming telling you that is it no more coverage. go ahead vote republican and watch social security disappear but i suppose you already have a 500,000 medical savings account and multiple millions set aside for retirement. If you do not you explify the idoiocy that is the repulbican electorate, blindly following and and repeating propaganda and lies to control your mind and vote.

Personal I just became diabled 4 months so I had to move all my care over to the VA. Im still seeing my lung specialist evrey 6 months which cost me 68 buckS self pay. All test she orders I get done at the VA. What little savings I had Im spending on bills untill I get approved for ss disabilty and maybe a VA pension or service connected disablity. So Im in the poor class its the middle class that going to get the brunt of this law.

Obama LIED to all American's when he said Obamacare was not a tax. Obama has now brought the largest tax increase on all Americans's, another broken Obama promise. The Supreme Court decision will ultimately drive more voters to the polls that will vote Obama out of office.

Cecil II, actually it is both Chief Justice (CJ) Roberts and the Congress which considered this act a tax. The Supreme Court was asked to decide this critically important legal question :
the republican senators and congresspeople do not care on whit for the american people, they have the best insurance in the world, paid for by we the taxpayers. People like myself who have pre-existing conditions are much better off today than ever before thanks to Obamacare. Why did they put it before the scotus and spend those millions of dollars if they were not going to stand by the decision made by scotus. They were so very sure this mostly republican scotus would shoot it down. Oh well.

it is not the poor or the sick that are parasites, the corporate interest is the parasite they want all your money and want to evade the responsibility of the medical bills they are supposed to pay. They want their money tax free and they want you to be heavily taxed becase you are just a little person. I never met a millionare that wasn't a stingy bastard, they do not spontaneously start paying good wages at a certain wealth level they push it further as they forget what it costs to live. the rich and the coroparat interest is the parasitic force in this country and they point it the finger at you when you ask for a raise because you cant keep food on the table on the pittance they trick you into workinf for without healthcare.

Linda, the Education to become a Doctor cost a lot of money and time. Not so attractive as a profession any more. Lack of low college loans makes those who might apply lose interest. Law suits don't help either. Thus a shortage of trained professionals.
You can't learn to be a doctor on a computer. You need and intership etc.

Chief Justice John Roberts upheld the Individual Mandate because DISSENT would strike down the entire Affordable Care Act. A Bridge too far for Roberts.
Plus he actually had to read it and found it constitutional. One reason was because if he didn't then a group could use it for a basis to strike down taxes as unconstitutional. Follow me?

So I am paying into a health insurance plan to pay tax's for those who do not pay their fair share ? Its time this practice of individuals paying for others insurance costs ended .
