Contempt of Congress definition:

Contempt of Congress is the act of obstructing the work of the United StatesCongress or one of its committees.

Holder provided congress with over 7,600 pages of documents and has made numerous high-level officials available for public congressional testimony, transcribed interviews, and briefings.

So Holder did not commit any contempt offense.

Article 1 section 8 does not authorize congress the power to coerce other branches of government. Any power not mentioned in article 1 section 8 is prohibited. That means the contempt charge violates the constitution.

Treason definition:

. . . culpable violation of the constitution . . .

So Holder cooperated with congress and republicans committed treason?

And Holder can now arrest and detain members of congress for treason?

And only Pres. Obama has the power to pardon anyone for treason?

It wouldn't matter if the GOP allowed the Democrat's request to go through; Gonzales followed the rule of whatever Cheney wants, as opposed to his predecessor, Ashcroft, who was committed to the rule of law, and would have told Cheney to stick it where the sun doesn't shine. So, Gonzales would have said that the GOP's equivalent to Fast 'n Furious was legal. So, Issa ought to subpoena McConnell to find out why the confirmation was blocked, forcing BATF to continue with acting directors who were likely more sympathetic to what Cheney wanted than what the rule of law allows, allowing Fast 'n Furious to continue until Holder found out about it. That is, if Issa wants to know the truth. But, Issa is on a witch hint, looking for a smoking gun, even if he has to to a bait and switch, using smoke and mirrors, to fool the public into believing that Obama is at fault for something that he didn't even know about, that Bush-43 may not have known about, but Cheney would have.

His last three big announcements gay marriage, non-deportation, and now the fast and furious executive priviledge thing could have all been done early in his presidency. Why wait till now. Good article out today about how Iceland is perfect model for Obama. Their economy is based upon free health care, equality of income, and very high tax rates. Such as $2 per gal gas tax, but virtually free home heating. Very high tax rates, but since every pays it, it is fair. Very few wealthy, but when their is, they pay hire rates yet.

The witch is that crook Darrell Issa. He was accused of arson for torching a building for the insurance money, carrying a concealed weapon, for which he was fined, and stealing a Maserati! Issa was the one that intiated the recall of Govoner Grey Davis. Unlike the recall in Wisconsin you could not vote for Grey Davis because the recall was all about 'getting rid' of him. That's why I was not at all happy about the outcome in Wisconsin. Had we been allowed to we would have voted Grey Davis back in.
