In my gut, I do believe if Romney were to win in November and we have the wrong combo in the Congress, we would see massive roundups and deportations, very shortly after. Obama is not doing what he promised. He is only trying to take credit for the work that Marco Rubio has done with the Dream Act in the Senate. He is afraid of a Rubio for VP ticket. This is the President's way of taking credit for the work that Senator Rubio has done to present a version of the Dream Act that could be passed by the House and Senate.

My writing is lost so I am writing again. We are having this illegal immigration problem for last many years. Surprisingly no body addressed and took care of the issue for all these years. President Obama has made the right and a gutsy decision today, by allowing them to stay. They are in this mess for no fault of their own and this is the right thing to do for them now.
President Obama is finally finding ways to circumvent the do nothing Congress. I have been wondering when he would finally get fed up. I have been fed up with them for a long time now, and would have been looking for any way to circumvent them. The way that they have held the country hostage because they do not like the peoples choice of President, is nothing but treasonous. The Republicans complain about the government, so I guess what they are really saying is they do not like the people because "we the people" are the government.
Human Beings satisfy the definition of Human Capitol when they have an income.
Undocumented immigrants come here to get a job have, so they have an income.
People with an income create consumer demand.
Consumer demand creates jobs.
Don't fool yourself. If "we the people" were the government, then he would be following the constitution which contains "Executive", "Legislative" and "Judicial" as "we the people". Instead he is following "me the dictator" and what he has done is illegal. I understand the reason Obama has been in office since January 2009 and it is now June 2012 and he decides now is the time to proceed with this unconstitutional act. How about all the people that are working to get into this country legally? I guess they are expected to go to the back of the bus, huh? Of course the Constitution is just a piece of paper to Obama, anyway. All the same, I feel for the children that have lived their lives in such an insecure manner because our leaders have allowed their parents to enter this country illegally all these years all for money and political reasons. There is not one word about anything that would boost consumer demand. That requires more consumers (a.k.a.: immigrants) or increased income (a.k.a.: education). Romney wants to cut both of those.
Go ahead and read it if you don't believe me.
The plan does say things about increasing the supply on quite a few things that would collapse prices. More home construction. More energy production. Increasing the supply of homes created abandoned housing that collapsed the banking system, so that might not be the most intelligent thing to try. Increasing oil supply would collapse the commodities industry, which might also be a bad idea.
Money sitting in a bank vault doesn't create any jobs. Excess products that consumers can't buy won't create any jobs either.
Jobs come from consumer demand. Not excess supply. Not from unspent money.
That is why economists are criticizing the plan. It's not because they are liberal.

No one has been legalized, congress has to do that. No one has been given citizenship or a visa because of this statement which if you've been paying attention is actually how we've been managing things for quite sometime now with no controversy. We don't not have the resources to deport all illegals in a very short, drastic period of time, it can not be done. Unless we hire thousands and thousands of more ICE agents which you'd be against because they'd be government workers so just admit that...........so you believe it is smarter to go after people who aren't dangerous before those who are because that's what it's about. Prioritizing. No one's immigration is changed by this speech. Illegal children will still be illegal they just won't be first up in the deportation line when there are others who are worse. You want to deport all illegals, fine that the fed's legal right, problem is the right wants to deport those people who are atleast 10 million in number yet does not want to give the government the revenue and the tools they need to do that. If folks want to do that fine, no problem but that can't be done if you don't give law enforcement the equipment and man power it needs to attempt something on that scale.
So the executive which has certain powers to issue directives of this nature is quite legal since they are swamped.
Next president obama has deported more illegals in this term than Bush did in eight and there weren't less people crossing the border then either, the border which has technically more resources than it has ever had before. Don't waste your time insinuating that isn't true or that I give a damn about illegals from anywhere. Purely by the numbers Obama has deported more and made the border more secure than it has been before. It is not enough however to say that this is without a doubt not the case is a lie. Cite the exact ways it's illegal with true facts, you will not be able to since it is quite legal. No one's status has changed only how attention will be alotted. Both sides have laughingly played this up as something important, it isn't and those educated on this topic know this method of triage has been how law enforcement has operated on this for years. This is not a change like when Reagan gave three million amnesty.
Perhaps if this wasn't about the deportation line this would be legit, but it isn't and you know that. This will have no impact on people immigrating to the US since this is about those who are here and will remain so since executive orders are not permanate. People working to get into this country legally aren't in the deportation line so this will be hard for you to believe and you will deny it but this changes nothing in terms of immigration law

You can do one or the other, but not both at the same time because that will reduce consumer demand.
Aggregate income needs to remain constant or increase to avoid causing a depression.
Ditsty Robme has openly stated he wants to deport immigrants AND cut education spending both at the same time just like Hoover.
That will reduce aggregate income exactly the same way as what Hoover did.

Posse Comatatus prohibits US military from doing any form of work outside military bases within the US. Ronald Raygun should have been impeached for violating the constitution when he put military in charge of airports during the Air Traffic Controllers strike (PATCO).

The words "executive edict" do not occur anywhere in United States government documents.
Feel free to browse these links if you don't believe me.
The President of the United States controls about 95% of US government employees by issuing Executive Orders.
Immigration enforcement officials that can be fired for violating an EO.
Department of Commerce is the remaining 5% (coast guard, etc.). DoC doesn't enforce immigration.

I've looked at the sites that include the word "Obama" and "edict" on the same page.
The word "edict" is an obsolete communist term that does not apply to US government.
That makes it look like all the sites that used the word "edict" and "Obama" in the last 48 hours are trying revive communist hatred.
The last communist government ended in the 1990s. We won. There aren't any more communists. The Berlin Wall is gone. China trusts us so much that they are lending our government large sums of money.
There is no such thing as a communist unless you count Castro.

I agree and support most of what President Obama has done or tried to do. You know, all his critics have the advantage of hindsight. It's easy to say this or that should have been done differently, looking back. We must remember that the President is the only one to have the big picture in front of him. Forced to play the stupid republican game, I believe the President has a plan to beat them at it. All he has to do is dangle a little cheese in front of their hole. When the rats come running out, the President can figuratively club them over the head at his own discretion.
It might be good to remember that immigrant quotas were first established by the KKK politicians in 1929 about 6 months before the Great Depression, which caused a banking collapse when half a million immigrants abandoned their dwellings.
It might also be good to remember Bush did the same thing with the Patriot Act about a year before the housing market began to collapse after almost 2 million immigrants abandoned their dwellings.
