If the Republicans would have put Country before Party we would have much lower unemployment.

Nothing specific as to how he would do these things. Attacked Obama for creating big government similar to Europe. However, never mentioned how the Austerity measures are hurting Europe's economy, leading them to 11%unemployment and double dip recession. Mitt will continue to run the clock out before he actually explain anything specific. Mitt-=where are your tax returns? China seems to be an important issue with him although he recently sold some stock from Chinese companies.
People deride Obama for not having a plan presented to the American people and he has done that here although I don't believe that this was needed in the first place, the plan was on the table for some time now just because the legislature didn't want to do anything with it for fear of having to actually fix the nation's problems.
Romney has had no plan on the table I am unaware of anything he really plans on doing despite his numerous, constantly be etched and re-stretched talking points. Thus far he has given us "I will help the economy by helping the economy". Where's the steps or details. We need to see step by step specifically what he will do and how that will work with reasoning and facts that are inline with reality not the Norman Rockwell counter-earth too many people on the right sadly live in.
Just even looking at his rhetoric one can see blatant lack of character and veracity. He claims the president never stepped out of the actual job of the presidency and wrote a jobs bill, whether it passed or not is irrelavent to whether it indeed did or did not exist. The right continues to say this even after bashing the plan for not exsanguinating unions only as a way to "create jobs".
Romney can not claim he will lower tax increases since there haven't been any in over a decade. Taxes have not gone up so the low tax solution seems to be ineffective. We have low taxes right now, look at the result. Taxes have not gone up.
Regulations have not increased drastically more importantly since the reality is the economic 08 collapse is responsible for unemployment. That is why most people became unemployed. I'd love to hear someone attempt to make the argument that it was over regulation that caused that meltdown, that it was because we payed too much attention.........lol.... Shouldn't we try to address what got us here in the first place since it is the root of the problem. Why has no one acrually done that. We have taken no steps to address what got us here. None. Makes no sense.
He says he will cut spending, how? He has no plan to actually do that. If the debt is so important why aren't we trying to pay it off as fast as possible with drastic revenue increases not decreases because the faster it's paid off the less it will cost and then we can go and lower them again. Cutting spending which Romney hasn't told us how he plans to do will not help us on what we already owe, it's totally insane.
How will Romney cut government which has not expanded. There are less government jobs and pay under Obama(federal pay freeze) what more would Mitt propose he would do? How will he do that by keeping the patriot act like Obama has or expanding it like many of the GOP congress might like to do...remember who was on board and at the head of the NDAA and what was in that authorization act.
How will he improve trade by continuing free trade agreements or pissing off China? It may be good in a campaign speech but I dare one person to tell me how that would help us more than it could potentially hurt. Where would be the benefit in antagonizing them which the right constantly chant own so much of our debt(~9%-ish)
How we will he make the nation safe? Why does he think russia is our greatest geo-political foe? Or does he know the capital of BekiBekistanistan.....LMAO...Herman Cain that was a fun time.....lol.... wasn't it?

You all should Google Sheldon Adelson. He used to be a Democrat until he got so rich the Repubs could help him keep more of his money. Sounds like Reagan, he jumped the fence, too. Adelson is the seventh richest man in the U.S. He owns the Venetian in Las Vegas and the Sands Convention Center, the only privately owned Conv Ctr in the country. A huge chunk of his money comes from his casino in Macau. He didn't lke the newspapers in Jerusalem, so he started his own. I guessing, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was Fox News in print form. People are going to have to start paying attention, because a lot of them have no idea what's at stake in this election.

Harris and Peterson make points as to why Obama is not yet the first black President, one being Obama making choices that increase the likelihood of African-American incarceration. To add to that, Obama and Holder are heavily prosecuting marijuana offenders, even in states with limited prosecution laws for medical marijuana, which is the exact opposite of what they are saying, including in Holder's 06/07/12 testimony before Congress. African-Americans make up an inordinate percentage of non-violent marijuana offenders sent to jail, most of whom are first-time offenders and most have no history of violence. If Obama were prosecuted under his law for "smoking a little weed.." he would not be President today.
I for one agree in some respects for the first part of that statement. I do think the fact that Obama is considered a black american or african american to be a sign of a hidden force within our culture that I think many like myself did not quite realize existed and by that I mean the acceptance of interacial people. Obama is not black, if his mother was white. He can't be white if his father was black. He's both half and half what's wrong with saying that? After all it's true! Why must one be one or the other....he truthfully is on both sides here not unlike Mitt Romney is on pretty much every political issue......

Now next I would say one could consider Obama not black since he is Kenyan, directly from the continent not "black" in the most common american sense ie being descended from indentured servants and slaves. Holder should be looking at these voting laws not this weed crap. Having said all this the drug war itself is not a racist war. The policies in my opinion are not racist they are just idiotic I don't think race factors primarily into it. I would say racial animosity is used to justify the war and to start it since many substances, all drugs were legal until a few decades back and the invention of the "cocaine crazed negro" myth. So racial hate has been used but I wouldn't say that was always the intention, the goal has been to control people's bodies. Next I in some ways resent the fact that most non-violent..blah blah...drug chargess are minority because it implies we do more drugs or are stereotypically chemical dependent and this is not the case.
Guess what fed white people do as many if not more drugs both rich and poor. However it is mostly the poor minority not rich person who is often targetted. So federal government you're not even catching all that many people who you want to tell what they can put in their own bodies. Another reason to end what Nixon started with this drug war.
CC read the history of the drug war, in the 1900's cocaine was given to black dock workers to make them work harder until the dock workers lost the ability to work hard because their addiction got the better of them so it was outlawed because black dock workers were getting high and raping white women, according to the news papers of that time.
Now Reagans drug kingpin laws where crack cocaine dealers were given the same sentences as powder cocaine dealers. That crack cocaine is mainly baking soda with a small amount of cocaine means the crack dealer had less illegal drugs then the powder dealer now here is the tricky part, crack is sold by blacks in black communities, powder cocaine is mainly sold by white dealers in rich white communities and there is more illegal drug in powder cocaine then crack, powder cocaine is 10% cocaine crack is less then 1/10th of 1% yet an ounce of crack carries the same sentence as a powder cocaine, that the police went after the crack dealers and not the powder dealers made it a race issue as did the sentencing because the crack down on drug dealers were aimed at blacks and not the white dealers.

Will someone tell Mr. Romney that the job creators are "we the people". Without "we the people" to buy products or services, why would anyone need to hire more employees. Purchases drive the growth in a company not the employer. And yes Gordon Bell, Mitt has said "Let them file for bankruptcy." Will the United States be the next bankruptcy if Mitt is elected? The government should be there to protect the people from the carpetbaggers. Finally, Mr. Romney should have to define the term "people" when he uses it cause "corporations are people, my friend." President Obama has had the worst economy to deal with since the Great Depression. The President got through a $750 billion stimulus bill that kept our economy from going into the Great Depression II. The problem is that we all know now that this bill was not large enough. Economist Paul Krugman wanted a bill of about $1.4 trillion stimulus bill. Events have proven Mr. Krugman correct even though I doubt in 2009 that a bill much larger than the $750 billion could have been passed politically after all the bailout loans. President Obama needs to emphasize his saving of the auto industry that kept well over one million jobs in America.
The GOP House has sat on the American Jobs Act proposed by President Obama back in August, 2011. All the House GOP has done under Speaker Boehner is sit on the butts doing nothing about passing jobs bills or infrastructure bills. President Obama should address Congress and ask for a $2.5 trillion infrastructure bill on top of the American Jobs bill of about $450 billion. President Obama needs to act big because we have chronic unemployment problems. Borrowing money for infrastructure bonds is cheap right now at very low interest rate. If the GOP says "NO" then President Obama should go to on a swing state Harry Truman bus tour and tell the American people they have a choice to make. The American people can support his infrastructure/jobs bills so we can live in a first world country or they can vote for the Republican plan of more tax cuts for the rich and we can live in a 3rd world cesspool of a country. This choice will be an easy one to make for most Americans.
