President Obama will make a case for another term, arguing he needs that time to reverse the damage caused by President Bush's policies. Michael Eric Dyson talks with MSNBC Contributors Jimmy Williams and Krystal Ball and Guy Benson of townhall.com.
On last night's show, former Democratic Senate Staffer and MSNBC Contributor Jimmy Williams said he didn't think Democrats should run against George W. Bush because "I think the country already looks at George Bush's presidency as pretty much a debacle. So
instead, let`s vilify the people that actually are the villains."
Williams was referring to Senate Republicans and this chart:

"Democrats take over the Senate and what happens?," Williams asked. "Filibusters jump in the 111th Congress, from in the eighties per Congress, to 137. And in the 112th Congress, we`re already at 87."
Williams went on to say:
"Every single bill is being filibustered. The only thing they're not filibustering, Post Office namings.
In the (Republican-controlled) House, the president goes before the Congress, calls them into session, sends up a jobs bill, addresses the nation. They pass two pieces of a massive jobs bill. And then people are sitting around going, where are the jobs?
I`ll tell you where the jobs are. They`re sitting in Congress; 535 of them, of which half of them are Republicans. And they`re the only ones that care about their own jobs. It`s kind of embarrassing. They're stopping him at every step of the way."

A reason Team Obama propigated for voting for him in 2008 was that he wasn't Bush. About the only reason to vote for Romney this year is that he isn't Obama. But- it's significant.
Can't force reid to pass a budget, the dems could vote him out as leader and let his replacement start work on the problems. But I won't hold my breath. Just hope they filibuster any bills next term that are not payed for when they are the minority.
money in >= money out will fix the economy.
money out <= money in would also work.
Ok Mittens called he wants his magic underpants back, he heard one of you tea bagging republicans left a greasy smear on his brown stains.
Notice the liberals ever mention the 31 bill sent over from the house that rare just sitting in the senate collecting dust!!!
stupid, we never mention the 31 bills sent over by the house, because repubs send bills to the senate, as a "matter of course" that THEY KNOW WON'T BE PASSED, because there are no revenues in them. they put everything in these bills that they know the President and the democrats will never agree to. there is absolutely no compromise by the repubs.
the 31 bills that the repub party sent over to the senate ARE ALL FOR SHOW, and nothing more.
even the budget that was voted on in oct. of 2011 that got no votes from repubs or democrats was a bill that was put out by jeff sessions. identical in "appearance" to president Obama's budget, but this was a "mockery" (LIKE ALL BILLS SENT FROM THE HOUSE TO THE SENATE) done by the repubs and senator jeff sessions to try to make it look like democrats voted against President Obama's bill. they were voting against jeff sessions version of it.
