100% YES!!!!!
Of course it will, and that is because NO ONE in Washington has the cojones to put these people in JAIL, where they belong!
How about letting them CRASH if they do it again ? Flat out,no BAIL OUTS !!!!! I don't care for their DUMB A$$ES if they do it again.
Of course! The GOP wants to make the people believe that the wolf's teeth are off. That the wolves who ate the eggs and the chickens before have turned vegetarians. Why? Because they know their based is easily fooled. They are either idiots or are racist enough they are willing to accept anything now.
I cannot really believe that if people were watching today c-span they did not do anything. Dimon did not even get a slap on the wrists.
Uh - Like - Duh - Like - YES !!!!! - Like- !!!- he he he !!
When a pack of wolves attack a flock of sheep eating grass, it's BLEAT! BLEAT! BLEAT! PANIC! PANIC! PANIC! until the wolves leave, the sheep calm down and the survivors go back to eating grass, forgetting anything ever happened - until the next wolf pack attack...
All the warnings in the world won't help, if the average people aren't listening... We here on this blog are EXCEPTIONAL, but average people aren't listening...
Who is running this country? Doesn't seem to be the president because of all the money thrown at the republican party and this $3 trillion dollar boo boo seems like a slap in the face of the president! And than they seem to be saying what ya gonna dooo bout it! I think it may be time to start buying gold or other metal’s as a way to hedge against the default of the US dollar. I must say its a "Bad Day at Black Rock!"
Wall street has not learned their lesson and why should they? The Repugs are ready to give them the reins and complete control of the coach. Then the Repugs will stand back and watch them drive the coach and all, back over the cliff that President Obama just pulled them back from 3 and half years ago.
Of course, Repugs were born with their mental handicap, and oversized primitive brain that only reacts to fear and isn't capable of thinking rationally or logically. This is why they will never be able to accept the fact that Trickle down DOESN'T WORK, and that GW MORON did create the financial crisis with deregulation of banks and the ever growing deficit with his tax cuts for the rich which are still in effect and still adding billions of $ in interest to the deficit.
But what is wrong with those in the middle class 99% out there who seem to be considering the idiotic ideas of 1%er Robme and his vows to give free rein to the Wall street, health insurance companies, and corporations. Who wants to double up on the failed policies of GW MORON and add 5-6 Trillion more to the deficit through bigger tax cuts for the rich, take health care away from those who have it and allow the privatization of all public services. None of which will be to the 99% middle class' advantage, but to their detriment. ARE SOME AMERICANS REALLY THIS STUPID?
Hi Scully!
Indeed they need to be taught a lesson. But what happened in 2007 was an intentional fleecing of America. We were suppose to go into default but guess who won the White House and kept the whole $h!thouse from going up in flames!
Triple X, now you're sounding like Jim Morrison. I like.

Baaa... Baaa... Baaaaaaaa....
People..... Do we all live in a closet or something? Don't you know what is happening throughout the world? Governments all over the world are going bankrupt and worse. People in Greece are on the streets. Children are being given up because their parents can no longer take care of them. Contrary to popular belief China isn't doing that well, either. Germany, France, Spain Italy just to name a few are not getting better. Think of it like this: We're all connected by a chain around our ankles and each country that goes down pulls a little harder on our ankle and the other ankles that are part of the connection. I don't think we need worry ourselves so much about Wall Street. There's just too much tug on our ankles and we're going down with the rest of them. It's just a matter of time. We can stay in this dream world for awhile, but the nightmare will wake us up like no other before it's over. Now how's that for a positive attitude?

I'm looking for that Hell, Yes!
It is a matter of when, not if.
Romney will take away all regulations if elected. That will keep people up at night, I assure you. He is one dangerous man. He's also, in spite of being very rich, quite clueless.
That's one bad combination: clueless and convinced he is right.
Hi TM
then please tell my why Obama and Gietner insist on making it a major part of their recovery programs. Would somebody please explain that to me without blaming bush, Boehner, Romney, Regan or George wallace?
I am curious, someone please explain what justifies how a search engine like Google or Bing , that has no "real" tangible assets....could be worth over $540.00 US per share, while Apple computers that does have a tangible product is worth $540 per share ?
Google owns hudreds of thousands of servers to provide those search results, it has plenty of real tangible assets. Google primarily sells a service, Apple sells products, and they both are very profitable. I'm no market expert, but stock prices just reflect the value of the company's assets, the value of expected profits, and divided by the number of total shares outstanding.
Tax cuts are not going to add 5-6 trillion to the deficit. I don't know where you think money comes from but tax revenues (Bush tax cuts or not) don't even make a dent in what we're spending. So far I've seen this tax thing posted 100 times on this forum, yet nobody seems to acknowledge or recognize (through hard numbers) that tax increases to the wealthy alone will do little if anything to solve the problem.
The Buffett tax for instance would only increase tax revenues by one one thousandth of what we need to cover current expenditures. I wish someone would post hard numbers of what our projected expenditures will be and subtract that off the total tax revenues (with and without the Bush tax cuts) so everyone will see that it won't be nearly enough to make a difference. Then we can put this issue to bed once and for all.
As for privatization, the current corporate system and their entanglement in Washington is already pushing things that way.
The Federal Government is beyond broke and there are three choices:
1. Voluntary spending cuts now or
2. forced spending cuts soon when this whole thing implodes or
3. Privatization
Personally I see #2 as the way it's going to go down and not soon after that #3 will happen by default.
Neither side is proposing any real spending cuts. The GOP is not fiscally conservative as much as they'd love everyone to believe it. The DNC thinks taxation will solve the problem, and politics aside, the hard numbers prove that it won't.
Apparently it's more important to some people to hate the players when it's the game we should be looking at.
Thanks......I knew Google sold advertising as an income, I've paid for Adwords...I did not know about all the servers, etc....I can see what you mean....Thanks again for the insight into that.....
@xxx ooo
Who and what are you talking about, what happened in 2007? who got into the WH? The date you mentioned doesn't match up so I'm confused.
Hi TC
Haven't seen you for awhile. I'm not sure who you are asking, but since when has "Obama and Gietner insisted on making "trickle down" a major part of their recovery programs?"
When has that happened? No intelligent Democrat considers Ronnie Raygun's idiotic economic theory valid, and neither did Bush SR by the way. He called it VOODOO ECONOMICS, I believe.
Scully, trickle down is a pejorative for supply side economic policies. Over 50% Of the obama/Geiotner stimulus and jobs plans were and are Trickle down programs some examples are
1 100% first year write off on new capital purchasers
2. tax credits of $4000 for hiring unemployed for over 12 months..
3.tax credits for the purchase and installation of solar energy panels in a business.
4. tax credits for purchasing fleet automobiles.
5. Low interest loans for start=up business.
6. Outright grants to certain companies engaged in specified green energy industries.
There are many others but bottom line these are not demand side elements but Supply side(trickle down) and the reason he is using them is because they actually work. .
Yes. But Govt must ensure that Wall St. repay the people who lost money for taking such risk. Wall St. must set aside money for the people as a safety net. In that way Wall St can keep playing their game sand won't be able to hurt people. WE NEED MAJOR CHANGE.
SEN - The stock market is a gamble on it's own.Does that mean that if I go into a CASINO and blow my money on the BLACKJACK table due to stupidity I could turn around and claim my money back ? I don't think so.The same should be with the stock market. If you lose all your money because of stupid investments then you deserve to lose it all.
I guess I would wager allot if it wasn't my money to lose too!
chase did not lose depositor or taxpayer money they lost capital. it was theirs to lose. Guess what if they had won who would get the reward????? Anyway they did not lose anything they actually made 24 Billion in the first quarter 2 billion less than they would have made without this one trade. Since when does a business get to be guaranteed a profit on their operations????
2007 was a pipe dream huh? FORWARD not BACKWARD!
Obama a plan moving forward!
Romney plan doomed to fail us!
@ Ted 2.1 & Thoughtful 2.3 : Like our $ 1,000 dollars deposit in bank is insured, we need a safety net for the investors. In that way, they can gamble any way they want but investors money will not be affected.
Correction 2.5 : It is $250,000 dollars now which is protected by FDIC for each investors in the banking industries. We should make Wall Street to protect similarly for each investors- that's what I meant. IT IS AN IDEA THAT CAN RESOLVE THESE ISSUES WHICH WE FACE VERY FREQUENTLY.
sen
banks have depositors (customers) and investors (owners) Ownership carries with it a risk in return for which if the risk is successfully navigated investors have no ceiling on how much they can make. The only way an investor (owner) can be protected is if the customers (depositors) bail them out. The remedy for owners whose employees (management ) lose them money is to fire their ass. JPCHASE will earn about $100 billion this yer they don't need anybody's money.
This election really scares me . I don't think this nation can survive anymore GOP crap . For the first time in my life , i will vote a astraight Democtat ticket this time . Thankfull i know bwtter than they do . Peace .
Over 8% unemlpoyment for the past 3 1/2 years.
Over 40 million people on food stamps.
Over 12 million out of work.
Over $1 trillion tax dollars spent by obama every year for the past 3 years.
And you blame the GOP????
Stand up for you actions already....
Go for a swim in the antarctic ocean - maybe/perhaps it will help your bloodflow to what little brain that you have !!!! but I doubt It !!!
Yep! the republicans are to blame. They worship at the alter of massively over paid CEO's yet despise working people, especially union and government workers. Giant corporations can do no wrong in the eyes of republicans. They can pollute the air we breathe, poison our water, strip our soil of every living organism, beneficial or not. Worker safety is not an issue either.
You can thank Ronald Reagan for starting America on this path 31 years ago. Reagan ran for govenor of California and then president of US just so he could destroy most of the government. Reagan hated regulations because it was part of government. He couldn't see the forest for the trees. He never could see that government does good stuff for Americans. The republicans can't see government as having anything benficial for anyone except for their cushy jobs.
One more point, where is th"HELL YES!!!!!" button?
stupidita what have you been smoking? Obviously you have no been paying attention as to why we are in this mess. The repug thugs have not done anything except be obstructionist. You need to ask John Boehner where are the damn jobs?
If the GOP would stop throwing up roadblocks to President Obama's various jobs for Americans plans, unemployment would go down much faster. Republicans have said more than once their main goal is to make Obama a one term president. And so what if it brings the country down!
dmac, the name should tell you all you need to know about IT. This is only the 30th time IT has posted the same crap. Doesn't care why. Doesn't know the cause and doesn't care.
The gambling that Wallstreet is doing in the financial industry, they are now laying off to the banks they own which are FDIC insured, so another major bad bet and the tax payers will go under, again!! The Fed and Congress has got to stop the co-mingling of the investment and banking industry, that kept us from a major crash for so many years. The Wallstreet got love from the Repulicans today and they will get campaign contributions with no consideration what the people of America are going through, they are so unconcerned.
Nothing is working for this President so he's back to blaming Bush. He passed anything he wanted his first two years with a Democratically controlled House and Senate yet here we are 3 1/2 years later and he won't take any blame for the stagnant economy as a result of the policies he has enacted.
Americans are sick and tired of this President's excuses. You know what they say,"Excuses are like butt holes. Everyone's got one and they all stink." All this President has is excuses. If he wasn't up for the job, why did he run in the first place.
LOL
just

yes and its not even the season yet. but you can tell the ones who get paid. LOL
They are out in full force lately, and it will get worse before it gets better. I think they are outsourcing though.
think they are called Political Marketing Specialist. PMS
By any measure, this President is a failure. He has failed with the economy. He has failed on foreign policy. He has tried to divide this country by class, gender, religion, and race. He has surrounded himself with baffoons he calls czars and appointed an Attorney General that thinks he's above the law.
We elected a guy with no executive experience who's in way over his head and the entire country is suffering as a result. Just ask Bill Clinton or James Carville. The best thing Obama could do for this country is not seek re-election.
LOL
SSDS but all paid by the same.
Got Bush beat all to Hell.
ROFL!! Pilot, you got this one pegged. Political Marketing SPAM....nothing special.
They are outsourcing, lib. This one's in a Nigerian/Portugal time zone. More like the twilight zone.
Way to go, stupidit....blame the American people for what's happened. Flip off an iceberg.

Wall Street should NEVER be allowed free ring again as their failure hurts middleclass families financially. Without regulations our financial systems will fall harder. Now Wall Street is trying to buy the White House for Richie Rich Romney, please God do NOT allow that to happen. People must ensure they are registered to vote in November and NOT allow paid GOP advertisements full of lies fool them. This is also why we must re-elect pres Obama, take back the House from do nothing Boehner and increase Democrats in the Senate like Professor Warren.
Especially if the regulations are eased or completely lifted.
Found this article to be very interesting and wanted to share:
By MICHAEL STAFFORD
CAGLE CARTOONS NEWSPAPER SYNDICATE
I'm a life-long Republican. My political affiliation has been woven intrinsically into the very fabric of my being.
My first political act was passionately lobbying my fourth-grade classmates to vote for Reagan over Walter Mondale in a mock election in 1984. As an adult, I continued to be a rock-solid Republican- I helped run my law school's chapter of the Federalist Society and its Republican club. And after the election of President Obama in 2008, I served as an officer in my state Republican Party. For the next two years, I devoted substantial amounts of my time, my talent, and my treasure to supporting local candidates running for office and to building the Party organization.
Today, however, I am a registered Republican no longer.
I came to the decision to leave the GOP not with a heavy heart, but with a broken one.
As a local GOP official after President Obama's election, I had a front-row seat as it became infected by a dangerous and virulent form of political rabies.
In the grip of this contagion, the Republican Party has come unhinged. Its fevered hallucinations involve threats from imaginary communists and socialists who, seemingly, lurk around every corner. Climate change- a reality recognized by every single significant scientific body and academy in the world- is a liberal conspiracy conjured up by Al Gore and other leftists who want to destroy America. Large numbers of Republicans- the notorious birthers- believe that the President was not born in the United States. Even worse, few figures in the GOP have the courage to confront them.
Republican economic policies are also indefensible. The GOP constantly claims its opponents are engaged in "class warfare," but this is an exercise in projection. In Republican proposals, the wealthy win, and the rest of us lose- one only has to look at Rep. Paul Ryan's budget to see that.
As Thomas E. Mann and Norman J. Ornstein have written, "the Republican Party, has become an insurgent outlier—ideologically extreme; contemptuous of the inherited social and economic policy regime; scornful of compromise; unpersuaded by conventional understanding of facts, evidence, and science; and dismissive of the legitimacy of its political opposition." Its reckless behavior helps drive the political dysfunction crippling our nation.
In the end, it offers a dystopian vision of our future- a harsher, crueler and more merciless America starkly divided between the riders, and the ridden.
From the moment the Tea Party emerged on the scene, I had a premonition that I would eventually have to leave the GOP. But my mind conjured innumerable reasons for delay- for putting off the day of reckoning in the desperate hope that some game-changing miracle would occur, such as a victory by Governor Jon Huntsman in the Republican presidential primary.
But no miracle happened. Among all the difficult truths I've had to face, perhaps none has been harder than the realization that I, and those dissidents like me, are unrepresentative outliers far removed from, and largely unable to influence, the main currents of opinion within the GOP.
Ultimately, leaving the GOP was necessary in order to maintain my own integrity. Leaving is also a public act of personal protest. I am under no illusions about its broader significance- it will have no impact on the trajectory of the political narrative in this nation. But that does not make it futile. On the contrary, as the shadows lengthen, such minor individual acts of defiance and dissent are more critical now than ever before.
Perhaps, one day, a reformed and responsible Republican Party will reemerge.
But until then, the GOP and I have reached a parting of the ways. In the poignant words of "Kathleen Mavourneen," an old Irish ballad: "It may be for years, and it may be forever"

Welcome .
DemElizabeth~He is absolutely right. Rusty, Vatican, Slackware and Eugenie will never believe it. That's if they take the time to read it...which I doubt they will. But they should. Grandpa's Republican Party is dead and it's not coming back. This is the new face of conservatism in America. Now let's hope the Dems don't sell us out, too.
I agree MJB~ Republican rabies and conservative cooties - Run!
@Dem--great Post Dem--thank you! #6
You are so welcome, Rach! The republicans just love to say how "they know this democrat who............"
It was nice to find a republican telling the truth for once!
Obama/Biden 2012 ~ Needed more now than ever before~
Congratulations to Michael Staffard for joining the Democratic Party.
repost, maybe one more will stand for something. no jobs were created today, :(
DemElizabeth~~Thanks for sharing this article. It is breath-taking! It would be the best dose of medicine for every republican, if they would read this objectively. But I don't believe, most republicans are capable of objectively reading facts. They have been lambasted with lies and propaganda, from the likes of Rush, Fox and republican elected officials for so long, manipulating their ability to think objectively, and patriotically with civility and respect for our nation. It is very sad that the republican party has become so evil as to destroy this nation.
elizabeth, enlightening post. read it twice. someone with a conscience.
Michael, Unlike you, I, who had voted Republican all my life, even having done work for the Young Republicans years ago, became concerned about wht was happening in the Repub, Party around 1995. I was so happy in 1994 when Repubs took over the House and Senate. It didn' take long for me to become worried about what was happening. Newt pushing through his agenda, the Christian Coalition pushing religion into our politics. I lasted in the Repub. Party until I bailed out right before the 2000 election. Living in Florida at the time and voted there in 2000, I saw what was happening there. I've never looked back. Done with the Repubs.
I jumped ship in 1980 when they became anti-abortion as part of their party's platform.
The Republicans aren't a political party; they're a crime family.
Someone must have slipped that life long Republican some of that liberal koolaid while he wasn't paying attention. You know that stuff is really bad for you. Maybe we can get Bloomberg to outlaw it, oh no we can't, he's drinking it too. Here's a song you can play November.

I haven't drunk Koolaid since I was a child. But then, I grew up. Why don't you try it?
We never should have bailed them out the first time! Sink or swim, it's your choice wall street!
If Wall Street is too big to fail, then WE are too small to matter.
Good Point David I agree
The way we bailed them out the last time, they don't deserve any help if they do it again. We should flat out let them suffer.
The way they were bailed out the last time is why they'll do it again.
David #7.1..... I agree with you. I don't think anyone should be too big to fail. Here's what will happen. They will fail. They will be cleaned up of all the garbage and operate much more efficiently and effective. Investors will take advantage of the opportunity to make some money on the deal. We on the other hand have been left holding the note from the last bailout and half the people from Wall Street are working in the present administration right now.
When it comes to Wall Street, we have always been too small to matter.
Ditto Mitt Romney.
Why didn't the Republicans put up a human for president? I want to see this guy's birth certificate. I'm not concerned about where he was born, but IF!
What planet do you have to be from not to know, by age 5, let alone age 59, what a donut is?!

David, So that's the planet: Kolob.
Why couldn't they have picked an earthling? Hmmm...
let the ignorant fox set up the rules for the hen house and then act surprised when all the chickens and nest eggs are gone , LOL . If the GOP is elected , we deserve what we get .
Yes indeed,
It did it the 1st time. Wall Street Investors knew exactly what they were doing. They had Insurance Policies through AIG on all the Risky Mortgages they acquired from the Big Banks. It was a win win situation 4 them. Then when AIG made good on the policies, they went in the tank.
Not really, obama & the liberals are doing just fine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Who gave U your name? Give them 3 high five's 4 yourself & 1 -4 me.
phyllis, self named and aptly so.
oh stupida gets morestupida everytime she opens her mouth
Is it a she or a lying Penquin?
Actually I like the name Stupidita which allows the liberals to enjoy themselves a little before the election results in November when Michelle Obama gets her wish to walk right out that front door and keep on walking. And I think the name is very appropriate to be used on a liberal vine as well. Congratulations Stupidita! Just goes to show we conservatives aren't as bad as you would like to think we are. We want you to have a few months of pleasure before the door hits Obama in the butt, because we know how sad it is going to be for you. We are very sympathetic people.
Stupidita lives up to her avatar. She/he says she's a Vietnam vet. Some of us find that an offensive lie. If she/he's a Vietnam vet, I am Obama's big sister.
Stupidita is a troll who is here only to disrupt. You and I and other righties on the vine like TC can get along fine because I know you mean what you say, even if I disagree vehemently. She/he is not sincere at all. She is a troll with issues.
Liberals ....
All sizzle no steak....
Not much to stop them, right now. The middle class gets screwed coming and going. The Wall Streeters crashed the economy and ravaged the housing market. Now these same people are buying up distressed properties at bargain basement prices. The nation will emerge from this economic slump they created. Home prices will recover, and they will clean up again.
Boo - Almost sounds as Though this was part of their plan from the get go - hey !!!!! I for One believe this to be so !!! corporatization of America Is their Goal and then they will take it further !!!
Democracy. Government for the people, by the people. The American experiment. It was a beautiful dream. Of course, the ones with the wealth and power don't believe people can govern themselves. The power brokers believe only they have the wisdom to control the masses as they see fit.
Know your isms. When you take off the mask of democracy, you see the true face of America today. That face is fascism.
What do you bet tomorrow obama blames bush.........
Then will blame the repulicans in congress.
Then will blame the rich for having money.
Lets see here, jupp Vegas has it off the board
@-stupid-- Thank God, we no longer have to worry about the careless actions of what Bush did while he was President, President Obama has done a great job, on cleaning up his mess. Now we are blaming people like you, who still don't care if our Country fail, just for you to have the opportunity to yell out, "-OBAMA DID IT". It's time out for playing stupid games, by going along with a party that doesn't care about anyone but the rich & crooked. Your vote for the Republican Party will only prove that you would rather see your Country in the same predicament as Greece,. It's not funny anymore it's dangerous. It's time for everyone to get serious, because it's evident, If we as Americans don't stop this party from destroying our Country, we are just as responsible for being an accessory to their crimes.
Stuipiter,
Can Penquins Fly? Well, give it a try with your 1 right wing. U will fly farther than U may know, if U pick up a good wind after a swift 1?
RACHAEL / PHYLLIS - He's just living up to his screen name,STUPID !!!!!!!!
Rachel indeed Obama has done a fine and thankless job. He was the one who took charge in a meeting after the collapse while he was running against McCain for prez in 2007. McCain was at the meeting too, but he *acted * lost and dumbfounded about the whole debacle. So you see then Senator Obama had done his first job as leader of this country and pulled it out of the fire. McCain was suppose to win. We dodged a bullet to the head! We should think of this election as a reload...
@--X--This time the bullet has been replaced with the same effects of a nuclear bomb. Total destruction for all of us. --Mitt is the weapon of mass destruction.
WMD Willard Mitt Draconey
@Ted post # 12.3,
U R 2 Smart. U always know the correct answer!!! LOL!!!
PHYLLIS - I Don't need to be smart to be able to tell that the person is flat out STUPID.Just look at his STUPID posts.
xxx ooo
Actually, then Senator/candidate Obama refused to return to Washington and do the job he was elected to do during the financial meltdown when Mccain suggested they suspend their campaigns and return to DC . Didn't he vote "present" a lot of the time, you know the 2 1/2 years he was a Senator. Just sayin.
Yes absolutely, We don't need people from those very same financial organizations on the Federal Board of regulators which oversees the banks either.
So true..And I didn't hear one teapublican say a word now or then negative or for change so they are all for it huh!
wall street has yet to be held accountable for any of their antics. my annuity lost thousands that will never be reclaimed while the CEO's take home millions for job nonperformance. wall street is already buying rummy who will champion their deregulation so they can promote their greed. wall street is only out for themselves and will gladly destroy what's left of the middle class and drive our country off the cliff for their own self-serving interests.
If the republicans would get behind the President's wall street regulations instead of snowballing and trying to dilute them another catastrophe could be avoided.
But then they wouldn't get rich off it.
The way I heard it, the Chinese pictograph for "crisis" is the same for "opportunity"...
Just like children need rules to follow and have consequences when they aren't followed, so Wall St. needs the same.
If Wall Street is too big to fail, then WE are too small to matter.
So how much yo have invested???
If you do not have money on wall street, it is impossible for wall street to take your money...
I haven't invested SQUAT in the stock market and NEVER will.I don't care if they do crash.I just hope that when they do,our government doesn't bail their dumb asses out.
stupidita~~Oh yes they did take my money. It was my money that paid them for crashing our economy, and I was not even ask for my money, it was stolen from me, and given to them. They were paid so well with my money, they are now coming back for more.
Stupid, You haven't been paying attention, have you.
Wall Street runs our government! You don't have to be an investor to get screwed. They've been screwing everyone for years and bribing congress to get away with it.
Do your HOMEWORK. Then you won't sound so ridiculous. And check your spelling. It's awful.
Wall Street did not crash the economy!!!
It in fact was the sub-prime home loan market that fell out and that is the reason the economy took a dive and then a 3 banks on wall street got caught on the short side of the trade and they failed.
Try to get some facts.
Not what the ed show tells you to to beleive in...
Who gambled with the money from those bad sub-prime loans?
Get your facts straight; you don't know what you're talking about. You just keep on talking nonsense. People are tired of it. If we cared about Fox noise talking points, we'd watch it.
Only one misspelled word, though. Progress!
I before e except after c or when sounded like a as in neighbour and weigh. Use that rule I learned in primary school. It is so helpful.
KPTM: Romney staff disrespectful to hosts, cafe owner said
Posted by
CNN Political Unit
(CNN) - The owner of an Iowa cafe which Mitt Romney visited on Friday say the Republican presidential candidate's staff were "arrogant" and disrespectful to her establishment, CNN affiliate KPTM reported.
Romney called owner Dianne Bauer of the Council Bluffs Main Street Cafe to offer an apology, the report said.
A Romney campaign source told CNN they had "assured the Bauers that the campaign would take responsibility for any remaining issues
This is not a surprise. He has a disdain for the "poor folk". His mouth is saying the words, but nobody is believing it. He tries to make you think he cares, but we're not stupid. If he treats people like that now, just think how he'll treat the 99% if he gets in the WH!
I guess the saying of One Bad Apple Will Spoil the whole bunch sums up the attitude of Mitt's staff. Romney has infected them all.
RACHAEL - He infected the whole TREE.Time to cut it down and burn it on the spot ( roots included ).
The Republican Establishment is the guilty party as they were the ones who deregulated Wall Street and allowed all of the risky investments that occurred. They have blocked any serious regulations to reign in Wall Street and put the US back on a course to Fiscal responsibility. You can't strip Government programs, start Unfunded Wars around the world while simultaneously cutting the tax rates on those making more than $250,000 a year. I don't know about the rest of you but I am tired of having the benefits I have worked for all my life sliced because the Republican Establishment refuses to look at the Trillions of dollars of Untaxed revenue sitting in bank accounts because the tax code is tilted in favor of the Wealthy in America. Don't get me wrong I am not against companies making a profit or people earning bonuses and such but when you have millions of Americans BARELY able to keep a roof over their heads or food on the table I have a HUGE problem with that. When the First thing Republicans look to cut are the entitlement programs rather than Cut defense spending and Serious tax reform. So President Obama is not saying anything that isn't true. Facts are Facts.
really- so exactly what regulation did the republicans rescind that allowed the risky investments to occur?
every last one have been on pluto again
oops have you been on pluto again st54?
Why is it that Democrats fail to acknowledge that the Bush Tax rates affected all tax paying citizens and not just the ones making more than $250,000? If you want roll back tax rates on everyone, then do exactly that. However, since the Democrats are so concerned about being "fair", it is not "fair" to only raise the rates on one group.
If you want to talk about tax reform, start with.. www.fairtax.org
Maybe some of those people who are having trouble keeping a roof over their heads have only themselves to blame for buying a house, car, tv, vacation etc, etc, etc that they could not really afford.
Just saying...
Yes! The republicans are kissing all over Dimon, for screwing the American WORKERS, again
