If a fire would start in Romney's new, expensive home, he would eat his words and return to a sane position.
He has moved so far to the right, he might have to hire private sector firemen, which there isn't any, to put his house fire out.
He would have to install fire suppression systems throughout his house just in case NO firefighters who will show up and put it out.But will anyone be willing to install it is the question.
Don't forget one for the 4 car elevator.
LARRY - You mean to tell me that we can't let the car elevator burn ? Damn the bad luck. Then we will let the parking garage burn then unless he installs a fire suppression system in EVERY parking stall.
Mitt Romney doesn't think period. He just has talking points and whatever the Republicans want him to say, he says and whatever President Obama says, he will take the opposite stand. And, in a few weeks, he will say he doesn't remember what he said but he stands by it.
Who does Ronmey think the American are?? Only is rich cronies?? They are the teachers, the firefighters, the policemen. They are the middle class and the poor.
Hell Yes!! Bishop Romney is clueless. Here in Los Angeles we have 400 Administrators with salaries of $300K yr = $120M yr. In 2010 they found a way to give themselves a raise. I could not help but notice Bishop Romney & the other Repug-Bull-Krapi-Con$ neglected to mention firing the administrators and placing the school principal in charge saves $Millions$
Smaller class sizes = better educated students.
They just want to privatize another gov service at 3 to 5 times the original cost.
The last 2 honest Republican Presidents were Ike and Bush 41, after that it was all down hill and its not stopping.

What Has The Republican Party Become ? Fear Itself.
COMMENTARY | Nearly 80 years ago, President Franklin Roosevelt gave an inaugural speech wherein portions have reverberated down through history, but none so much as when he cautioned Americans the "only thing we have to fear is fear itself." Although he was warning not to give in to the economic and sociological woes of the Great Depression, his words could describe the soul of the Republican Party today. It has come to embody fear itself.
David Frum, an economic speechwriter for President George W. Bush, touched on the subject of the GOP and its record of intractability and swing toward an even more far right radicalization as being Washington's biggest problem. Frum notes the GOP's swing is a product not only of political radicalization but a reflection of a radicalization among the electorate. An electorate that is increasingly older, invested and wealthy, and elects legislators that is more conservative than has been prevalent in the past.
Frum backs up his views by pointing out Washington political rhetoric and legislative gridlock but also on the work of political scientists Thomas Mann and Norman Ornstein. Their book, "It's Even Worse Than It Looks: How the American Constitutional System Collided With the New Politics of Extremism," is an implication of the Republican Party's increasingly extremist politics as having a stalling effect on American government at large. Lest one thinks the book is a hit piece by liberals (Mann works for the liberal Brookings Institute), it should be noted Ornstein works for the conservative American Enterprise Institute. Together the two have studied Washington politics for four decades.
The Republican Party has become a national problem, but even moreso in Washington as it has contributed to an increasingly ineffectual government through policies that stray from empirical facts, ignore scientific contributions and avoids publicly talking about compromise. And its foundation is fear.
Somewhere along the way, someone coined the term "Party of Fear" to take a jab at the GOP's predilection to use fear tactics to gain popular support and secure votes. Although they weren't exclusive in using such political weapons, they became most associated with reaching into its arsenal. But over time, the reaching for things to fear to motivate and energize the electorate has also fostered an environment of fear, one so pervasive as to become ideologically innate. Instead of fear being the message, it became the party's definition.
And now the GOP has become fear itself. Not only just the embodiment of fighting for what its members have gained and/or the principles for which they stand, but with the further radicalization of the party through ultra-conservativism on the part of the tea party. It even has its moderates fearing those further to the right. The far right wing is politically strong, well-financed and perfectly willing to unseat long-standing Republican politicians such as Utah's Bob Bennett and Indiana's Dick Lugar.
What is usually not quoted along with Roosevelt's famous words is the completion of the statement. It continues: "nameless, unreasoning, unjustified terror which paralyzes needed efforts to convert retreat into advance." That is the definition of fear itself.
Fear itself -- what the Republican Party has become. But there is one slight alteration to Roosevelt's words. Fear itself is no longer nameless. Republicans have given fear a name -- their own.
Mitt is a typical republican which makes him a liar, cheater, snake oil salesman and job destroyer.
While Romney aspires to be a public servant, he only wishes to serve the segement of the public that has lots of money. He will believe whatever they tell him to believe, because he only cares about making more money for himself.
Mitt thinks anyone who tries to stop his monarch of power is a problem. He will pattern himself after G.W. - AS being The President in name only. He has already given the requirements of running the Government over to the Koch brothers, Grover, and Carl. He really don't want the responsibility of being a President- The Power and Prestige is his only agenda.
Hey Rachel ! You are so right about that ! Williard only wants to be the front man for the Republican Crime Bosses !
Howdy Hope--how r u? I see you're busy getting your point across, I only pray that some mis-guided Romney supporter will read it and learn.
LOL. I see a lot of the usual bloggers are getting their points across ! That is a good thing !
Excellent Rachel! The truth!
Marlene---It's so evident, these guys don't like Mitt, they just want him in to be unregulated when it comes to dumping their toxic waste on us as well as all living creatures, I guess they want us to go back to lead paint, and polluted water, and food. and their unregulated schemes on wall-street so that the rich can get richer at the cost of average Americans.
RACHAEL - What they don't seem to realize is that it could BACKFIRE on them. They could also be affected by it along with us so I don't think they would really want it once it does start to take affect.
Ted--$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$MONEY
RACHAEL - If you didn't pay the ticket, than you would have got some of your TAX dollars back ( to some extent). That's why I would rather take the jailtime before I pay the ticket.
@Ted--LOL--If Romney have his way--No More Tickets--because their would be no more Police.
RACHAEL - For him,it would be flat out JAILTIME.No ifs, ands or buts about it.And he would NOT be let out early for doing any good time either. So how's those ROTTEN APPLES for you ?
Are you serious??? If Romney doesn't claim public servants are the problem he'd be drummed out of the GOP by Carl Rove, et al!
They don't believe it. They're just using the "politics of envy" to give the general public something (besides them) to hate.
If Romney and all the Republicans think there is a public servant problem, they are free to lead by example and resign immediately, along with all of their staff members.
Problem solved.
ALPHADOGREPORTER - WHAT !!!!!! They aren't gone yet ? I think we have a problem with that one.
Of COURSE he doesn't! He is lying in order to crush ordinary people in order that his fellows can have a few new caviar dishes of finest silver! This is a planned movement by a few rich, powerful men who, through the Citizens United Decisions, have been able to buy elections, including the scott walker/wisconsin debacle. What a blow for 'free'dom.
Iit's not the elections they have to worry about,it's the votes.if they don't get enough of them to win, then they ain't SQUAT !!!!!
Dont these Idiots Republicans know that the job they are holding is a goverment Job,So lets get them out and let the Firefighters Police Officers ,Teachers Constructionworkers go back to work.I.m telling you we are dealing with som very iliterate Congress and Republicans Governors, Senators and whom ever they are.Including Romney and the entire FOX News Cchannel Cast.
SYBILLE WATTS - That's when we need to vote them out of office.
Yes, he does. He will need hip boots soon. Every time he tries to counter Pres. Obama he steps in $*&!. Problem being, he is the only who doesn't think he stinks.
MARSHA - If not hip boots, then chest waders because the $hit's starting to get REEEAAALLLYYYY deep around here.
Mitt's father is probably turning over in his grave. He was a true public servant. Governor of Michigan, Secretary of HUD and candidate for President. All of these positions are in the public sector. Mitt was governor of Massachusetts running for the highest public office in the nation. Yet he despises government and the public sector. Cranbrook had only 15 students in a class when Mitt attended classes. I was one of his classmates. Having also attended Cass Tech and Mumford, in Detroit, I can assure you that all of them are comparable to Cranbrook but with much larger classrooms at much less cost to the student.. Mitt may not appreciate the education he received, and it came for a price. Now, he wants to deprive those less fortunate of the opportunity for a great education which allows him to make $20 million per year in his "retirement". As we fire more teachers, it will allow those who can afford it to attend private schools and perpetuate the upper class and destroy the public school system.
Don't believe the hype! All of this is about privatizing ALL government jobs. Then the rich sob's can completely get rid of unions, control our wages, make us work until we drop in our tracks....in other words make slaves out of us...while the 1% gets richer. They can fool some of the people some of the time...but not all of the people all of the time! WAKE UP people! VOTE Democrat across the board in November!
United Health Care - it is a political gimmic - I know this for a fact.
I currently have health insurance through my job. I also have opened my own store and am now in 3 separate locations. I wanted to quit my job and run my business. But the one thing I needed was to continue my health care insurance because I do have a history of cancerous polyps. So, I applied for medical insurance THAT I HAD TO PAY FOR - and United Health not only turned me down, they told me that I am never to apply for health insurance again because I would ALWAYS be denied.
Let me see some Republican try and defend this bureaucracy. Republicans have stated the biggest reason they are against Obamacare is because some bureaucrat is going to decide what health care you can have - it is happening today with regular insurance companies. It has been happening for years with regular insurance companies.
The best plan out there was and is the Republican Plan of the Public Option (a multistate program) - but the Republicans blew it by being against it when Obamacare was first being written.
Lets see the GOP has made these groups the enemy of the health of the economy and wants and is placing blame on. Union workers of all kinds cops firemen teachers auto workers postal workers, Women Blacks Hispanics Gays Lesbians the Elderly and Disabled War Veterans the Unemployed those on Food Stamps those on Welfare VA employees those who support renewable energy and fight for clean air & water, certain religions The media and Hollywood, The 99% & Occupiers I haven't heard yet that they are going after Doctors or Lawyers or are they the 1% Many I can see that shouldn't have a second thought about NOT voting Tea Party or Republican just why in the hell should they!
well hello there---I think your post is right on--I tried to think of a group-or-person to add, but couldn't, I guess you covered them all----
It's a sad in America when the Supreme Court has to use tax payers money, because of some nut wings stupidity--The President is on his forth year in office, Give up on the Birth Certificate Obama-Haters Please!-- Ignorance is Bliss!
Hey Rach -- yep - that is just another attempt to keep the attention Off of the Focus on Job creation - Once Again !!!! And cost US Taxpayers More money - but thats what they are against doing - isnt that what they say ???? And once Again - believe Exactly the opposite of what they say !!!!
MD---hey---I must say that you're right, -these wacks don't care who they trample over::: FOR THE LOVE OF MONEY.:::
Rach - Thats correct - I believe that their blood flows Green !!!!
Here we go again with this Birther crabb Dewhurst from Texas Shut the Hell up.You are an idiot just like the GovernorPerry. When is this ever going to stop.
The only way it will stop is when OBAMA is either re-elected or voted out of office. They need to learn when to SHUT THE F*** UP and get over it.He's already been our president and proved that he is a U.S. citizen or he wouldn't have the office to begin with.
