You are struggling as we all are because of the Bush tax cuts. That is why states are not getting money from the FED like they usually do. You are hurting because of the bank collapse, because the banks were deregulated. We are all hurting because Bush put us in two wars and did not pay for them, he cut taxes. Obama wants to keep tax cuts on the middle class and raise them on the jerks that caused this crisis. It's so funny to me how they are crying and don't want to pay more, the taxpayers bailed them out, they kept their own private fortunes, lost nothing, are now making more than they were before, but that's not enough for them, they are too damn greedy, they need to pay. They should have just paid everything back.

Of course we need to pay the tabs, but the more people making a lot of money, the more taxes that will be paid into the system. That's why we need a strong middle class, Unions create that. Just think about that. You don't understand that rep's don't want to get rid of Unions for any of the reasons they said. They don't want the Unions because they are in these billionaires pocket. They went after the public Unions, now they will go after the private Unions, because billionaires want to pay less wages, and no bene's, they are greedy and if they make 1 million paying you well and paying you benefits, that's not good enough for them they want to pay you less and not give you the benefits so they make 2 or 3 million.

Mike. How is something I pay for an "entittlement"? My wife worked for the state. first they took a pay freeze for 4 years. While at the same time, upper management got a 6% raise. The "workers increased their contribution to their helath insurance from 40 to 50%. Their pension was a 50 50 match. That turned out in then end to be a 40% employer, 60% employee. Sounds like tax payers are really getting the shaft. right. The State Gave up nothing and gained a lot.
