Here are tonight's charts as seen on The Ed Show:
This is the nation's Gross domestic product (GDP) before and after the stimulus. Red is for the Bush years, blue is for the Obama years. Look at what happened when the stimulus kicked in.

Same thing with private sector job growth. The stimulus starts, jobs come back.

And Wall Street has done very well since the stimulus.

And from the segment on health care, the percentage of Americans wanting to see the Obama health care law overturned has increased a bit since the Supreme Court heard oral arguments on the case in March.

Can you provide me us a link to the government source that these charts are based on? Looking forward to the details. :-) 68% are against Obamacare and the mandate, which defunds and kills Obamacare.:-)
Except you can't handle the truth you live in delusional land making up stories that you got trickled down on. As everyone who hasn't been drinking GOP koolaid knows you made up your own numbers of people who don't like health care reform. How do we know this because you call it Obama care instead of Romney care.
Please tell us how Obama's "trickle down" economics work where he redistributes tax payer dollars from the federal government on down to us citizens, or poor serfs as he sees us? Please provide examples of how his trickle down wealth redistribution created jobs when we have more citizens on welfare, food stamps, social security disability and unemployment than under the GWB Presidency. You say I'm making up numbers? Can you not read the chart above and add the %s? Liberals... :-)
Ding ding ding we got a winner he can repeat the same talking points without a thought about what he posts.
Talking points? Can you not answer the simple question or are you just running away? I thought you were the smart one. :-) Now tell us how Obama trickle down economics works. You know... tax and spend from above.
A larger number of americans think god exists but that does not make it true. At one point most people thought that the earth was flat, that is also not true. Ignorance abounds in America, that should not rule over intelligence.
Sorry Obama doesn't have trickle down economics that is pure 100% GOP nonsense just like yourself.
Does Obama, Pelosi and Reid believe in a big federal government? Yes, the government has grown under his administration. Does Obama believe more regulations are the answer to help create jobs? Yes, more regulations have been passed under his administration than under GWB. Does he believe in more tax payer stimulus spending, which is increasing our national debt as a quicker pace than GWB? Yes, he spent $5 Trillion in pnly 3.5 years vs. GWB 8 years. So again, please explain how Obama's "trickle down theory" works for us Americans. Why is unemployment still above 8%?
Who’s the Biggest Spender? Obama or Bush?
#page1
I don't think so they actually have cut government while GWB created 53 new government agencies just to spy on Americans. Again a right wing lie Obama did not spend 5 trillion dollars in 4 years. Obama spent 1.4 trillion the rest was on the interest of the money GWB gave away and had to borrow to make up some of his spending. Boy the rewrites just keep on coming out of you.
Yeah Vatican12442,
Why is enemployment above 8%? Obama said if his stimulus passed, unemployment wouldn't go above 8%. His stimulus passed and unemployment is still above 8%. It's been above 8% almost his entire term.
It's because this President is in way over his head. We elected a Community Organizer with no executive experience. What did we expect to happen?
ABO 2012
Once angain Fox news misinformation rears its ugly head on Ed's blog. Gee how surprising still can't get it is anyone except the GOP.
Drill Baby, you probably already knew this but Whom is not an American citizen. He also thinks Democrats don't believe America is exceptional, the one thing that both Conservatives and Liberals can agree on. It makes his posts on this or any American political blog more amusing. :-) See #4.2
Being born in the US does not make you exceptional it makes you lucky.

The GOP -- Keeping millions unemployed to put One Man out of work !
During the 2010 mid-terms the GOP ran mainly on the platform of job creation and, as a result of such promises, the GOP gained the majority in the House of Representatives. As the new Speaker of the House, John Boehner made the welcome claim that the primary goal of the Republican Party was to increase employment in the U.S.
His exact words were: "We're going to have a relentless focus on creating jobs."
The following, therefore, is a chronological list of legislation by the GOP beginning 2-10-2011 that I created for my own amusement. That it has reached its current imposing length, without one anecdotal citation of new employment as a result of Republican legislation, is simply shocking. Shame on these useless hypocrites.
There are those who choose to place the blame for high unemployment on Mr. Obama's shoulders, but keep in mind that it's the House that enacts legislation and controls the governmental purse-strings, not the President. The Stimulus package passed by the Democrats in 2009 helped the economy but would have been more effective if the GOP hadn't limited it to little more than a package of more useless tax breaks for the rich.
Isn't it rather strange that the left is always talking about how the people are behind these great plans they have and they show all of their great polls to show that a majority of Americans support their ideas. And, of course, that means we have to do it immediately because the people want it.
Yet, when they are shown polls which report Americans overwhelmingly do not want Obamacare, they immediately change their tune and say that Americans need it anyway.
What hypocrisy...as usual....
Just saying..
Isn't it a wonder that for 34 years the GOP has run on smaller government and less spending yet have never been able to do either in that 34 years yet their supporters believe the GOP when the GOP say this time we really really really mean it.
Isn't it amazing whomitmay how Radical Right bloggers hate to read information that does not support their toxic vomit ?
Facts are always B.S. unless they support Rabid Righty's lies and spin.
If you think you have "facts" then show us the polling data that backs it up. Liberals never provide objective sources; only distortions from leftist rags that have no credibility. Here you go:
The latest New York Times/CBS poll on Obamacare and the Supreme Court is consistent with previous polling on the issue, and it is not good for Obamacare supporters. A few highlights:
It’s worth mentioning, as Ilya Somin put it, that this type of polling data only goes to show that the Court is “probably not going to be deterred from striking . . . [the mandate] down by fear of a political backlash or damage to their legitimacy.” But, given the Left’s very public lobbying efforts invoking the Supreme Court’s institutional legitimacy, these polls are still important data points confirming that a positive result would vindicate the Constitution and public opinion.
vatican,
your post #1.7.
under repub "leadership" the size of gov't grows, the deficit grows, because the repubs spend more than democrats. do some research.
i get really tired of conservative/bagger/repubs (whatever you are) who come here and say that they are for small gov't, when they want gov't to control a woman's god-given uterus (one example only). perhaps since our uterus is "god-given" that overules a woman's right to choose? her right to choose birth control is now under fire from the conservatives. and please don't tell me that YOU don't care if women take birth control or not. YOU are not in washington voting on bills that will change the rights that women have taken for granted, but now are threatened. what YOU think doesn't count, because it DOESN'T HELP WOMEN.
you all want regulations on everything and everybody else except for business and money. you want gov't regulations on everything else except where it affects you, it seems. you like what wall street did, gambling with investor's money. you agree with mitt romney's "vulture capitalism".
vatican, your post above: why was the "conservative individual mandate" constitutional before it was unconstitutional?
You're right, they don't mean it.
The only candidate that said it and really meant it (and actually had a way to do it) was Ron Paul. How unfortunate that the awful truth was too hard to swallow.
We also know that Obama is not for smaller government or less spending either.
Result: Bigger government and more spending is here to stay. America is doomed.
So Obama and Romney are going to continue to pump sunshine up everyone's ass and it's going to be business as usual for the next four years.
Any excuse and change of conversation so you and the us republicans don't have to give credit for anything. It really pains you. They talk about taking everything else, but their paycheck.....they are never touched or they?
http://thehill.com/homenews/house/127879-boehner-pressed-to-cut-pay-of-lawmakers
Whom...over the last 34 years that you refer to, which party has controlled the House of Representatives for 20 of those years and which party controlled it for 14 of those years? during the 4 years when the greatest amount of spending was done, which party was in control of the HOR? going back even further, which party has been in control of the HOR since 1945 except for 16 years?
Several of the leftist scholars on this site have stated that it is the HOR which is responsible for the spending bills, so I guess that would be a good place to start looking at who created the mess we are in from a spending perspective.
Just saying...
Once again storm shows how little he knows about the subject that he posts about. Just a long string of GOP talking points followed by fake outrage and any facts anyone posts that show his talking points as the lies they are he ignores switches subjects then pretends he isn't the one who blames Obama 100% for everything congress did.
repeat
Exactly which one of those "talking points" is a lie? You brought up the subject of the last 34 years...prove me wrong.
Please..stop with your whining and posturing...for once, step up to the plate and prove something. If you are capable of doing that...which everyone on this blog knows you aren't...
Just saying...
Which one isn't storm? You have yet to make 1 factual post. Though when you only trust right wing sites for information what can you expect but lies, half truths, statements taken out of context and fake outrage. I mean really we seen you repeat the same nonsense that the right has been repeating since Reagan first said it.
Please pick any one o these sources and try to discredit them. Since they all same the same thing, I guess you are saying they are all wrong...

Grow up or shut up...
Please prove my source wrong...please...show me how smart you are for once instead of just throwing out your toxic vomit.
Just saying...
You posted it therefore you being a typical right wing poster are wrong. How do we know this, because once again you cherry picked information to show that you are innocent of being a deceptive right wing poster.
How in the world did I cherry pick information when you are the one who set the standard of the last 34 years? I simply provided you a resource that states a fact that you can not bring yourself to admit is right. It seems like you were the one who cherry picked a very specific time frame to meet some agenda you have...
just saying...
Oh stop with your innocent act. That is all you ever do play the victim. That you are a republican posting on a left leaning blog using right wing sources that are all hype and fake outrage not meant to be factual. We know your game storm, that you lack knowledge on every topic you post on is clear.
Right storm except you are a republican and everyone knows how honest and innocent republicans are.
WOW.....surprise surprise...when Whom is asked for proof, all he can do is a bunch of name calling.
Too bad you don't have the intelligence or the backbone to actually try and prove me wrong...
just saying...
Wow. Surprise, surprise.
vatican12442.....sigh....you are so correct....we were on such an amazing run as America before the current president.....its all his fault...you are so wise....
Ok. Lets see. GWB has a Democrat controlled Congress, which led to a much weakened economy. Obama had a Democrat controlled Congress, which made a weakened economy much worse; a crisis. What is the common thread here? A Democrat controlled Congress. Thank God for the GOP win in 2010 where they took the House to keep the Democrat controlled Senate in check till 2012.
And we get the guy who was in a coma from 2000 to 2006.
Oh, you mean when the unemployment rate was BELOW 8%, $5 Trillion less debt and we had fewer poor citizens? That 2000 to 2006? :-)
Oh go take your GOP nonsense back to Fox news they have been debunked more times in the last year then you have been banned and rereg.
What about before GWB when unemployment was 3.9% and we had a surplus?
Vatican can you explain to me why it is the Dems fault that the economy that was already starting to tank by the time they took office in Jan 07', despite Bush's denial of the signs. Tell me which bills the Democratic congress passed in the first couple of months of 07' that caused the economy to crash, also if you can name one Bush better have vetoed it. Or is it more likely that a Republican congress, president, and conservative supreme court that dominated for 6 yrs before, that let wall street and the banksters run wild caused it.
You can't give Bill Clinton credit for the Internet DOT COM boost to the economy. Nope. You can thank the private sector for those jobs, which reduced the unemployment rate coupled with the GOP controlled Congress that passed the balanced budget amendment and passed pro-business growth legislation. You can thank New Gingrich and their "Contract with America" before the Democrats took over and the nation took a turn for the worst and continued under Obama. Liberals = Tax & Spend.
You do realize that under Bill Clinton we had a deficit each year he was President and the national debt went up as well? It's public record (government sources). You also realize that the Clinton administration raided numerous federal trust funds, including social security to cook the books for his budgets, right? Again, public record. Check out the federal government debt by President each year.
You can't give Clinton the credit for economic prosperity because it was the republican congress that did it but you give Obama the blame for Bush's economy even though Obama has a republican congress. But when OBL gets killed you give the former president credit. I'm sure if the mission failed Obama would have got the blame. Interesting how your credit and blame falls along party lines with parroted talking points, and no facts to back them up. You flip flop as much as Romney, Vatican. No wonder you guys love him, your as lost as he is. In fact I think I will now call my flip-flops Vaticans or Romneys. I will wear my Vaticans to the beach this weekend. Republicans= No tax(rich and corporations) + Spend(on wars)
Are you kidding me? The Democrats controlled the House and Senate during the first two years of Obama's Presidency, and continue to control the Senate to this day. The GOP only won the House in 2010. Republican controlled Congress? wow... you really do live in a dream world. You must live outside America as well along with Whom and Pam52. Ed's viewers are mostly non-Americans. :-) So, I've been complete consistent based on the facts, but you flip flop like a fish out of water. :-)
Also interesting to note GWB campaigned on a surplus and the used it as the reason to pass the Bush tax cuts but according to you the surplus did not exist. So Old George was lying then too? Surprising? No. How many more "facts" do you have? Keep helping us expose the lies of Bush and the GOP. Thanks
Still no answer to what bills the Democratic congress passed and Bush vetoed in 2007 that caused the crash? I thought so Vatican.

The GOP -- Keeping millions unemployed to put One Man out of work !
Non-Job Creation Legislation of 2012:
1-2-2012: Congress will return to session on January 17th. They will work for six whole days this month. Must be nice. Don't expect much Federal job creation during this period.
1-18-2012: Here we GO!
On Tuesday, the 17th, the House selected a new, as-yet-unnamed, Sergeant-At-Arms. On the 18th the House will attempt, and fail, to vote down Mr. Obama's request for a debt increase. The House will then adjourn until Monday. No jobs were created.
1-20-2012: Congress is in recess until Monday. Have a nice weekend, everyone, and enjoy your food stamps. No jobs were created.
1-23-2012: Not much today. Just a panel discussion on doing business with the military, plus some GOP shenanigans called the Legally Binding Budget Act of 2011. Simply put, it's an attempt to make the president culpable for lousy budgets. No jobs were created.
1-25-2012: John Boehner claims that the GOP passed 30 jobs bills in the past session of Congress. Well, they passed 30 "somethings" but they certainly had little to do with job creation. Follow the link and laugh.
1-27-2012: The House held hearings on Wednesday trying to cut retirement benefits for federal employees. They also redefined what an "aircraft" is. They then took Thursday off.No jobs were created.
1-30-2012: On Friday, the 27th, the House was in session for a whole four minutes. Aaaaand, the House is basically in recess until the 1st of February. No jobs were created.
2-1-2012: On Tuesday, the 31st, the House voted on a motion to consider the repeal of the CLASS Program, part of the Affordable Health Care Act aimed at helping low-income citizens get health care. It passed on party lines. Don't expect it to escape the Senate. No jobs were created.
2-3-2012: The House proposed a bill that keeps welfare recipients out of strip clubs, casinos, and liquor stores. The actual purpose of the bill was to have Democrats vote against it so that their Republican opponents can claim Democrats are FOR such nonsense. The bill passed 395-27 but it will die in the Senate, so ha-ha-ha, GOP. No jobs were created.
2-6-2012: Last week House Republicans approved language for debate on two bills that would gut Federal programs without having to pass specific legislation. This would, essentially, equal more tax cuts for big business. No jobs were created.
2-8-2012: The consistent upward trend in employment numbers would seem to be an excellent time for the GOP to bathe in glory as shepherds of the economy. But even though they've done absolutely nothing to increase employment for the past year all they can do is grumble that "More should be done". For once, they're right. No jobs were created. No jobs were created.
2-10-2012: House Republican's are watering down the insider trading bill so that Democrats will vote against it. Thus, come November, our GOP pals can say that Democrats are actually for insider trading. What more could we expect from these useless conservative sleezeballs? No jobs were created.
2-13-2012: Today there will be exactly one hearing about "exploring all energy options." It should be called "exploring oil energy options."
Meanwhile, Senate Republicans are trying to kill the Violence Against Women Act. No jobs were created.
2-15-2012: So which party has introduced "the most partisan" and "worst transportation bill [Transportation Secretary Ray Lahood] has seen in 35 years?"
Go on... guess. (Hint: It wasn't the Democrats.)
No jobs were created.
#2.14 - Your posts are the best on this thread, major kudos Hope! I remember much of what you included in the timeline of events. It's downright criminal what this shameless tea-bagged bonehead CON-gress has gotten away with. They are the most do nothing bunch of failures and liars to ever set foot in DC. I for one will be happy to see as many of this rotten bunch of anti-middle class crooks sent packing in November! They have had their chance and totally blew it. Most people remember the teapugs 2010 election slogan: "JOBS, JOBS, JOBS!" -but once in office, it was OBSTRUCTION, OBSTRUCTION, OBSTRUCTION! .......Instead of working w the President on job creation as they promised, all they actually did was escalate their war on women (some 95 extreme new anti-choice laws passed and some that were proposed but thankfully failed) This CON-gress also passed more redundant anti-gay legislation (that didn't create a whole lotta jobs either, lol!) They held the nations finances hostage during the debt ceiling crisis to get their way. They opposed the equal pay and violence against woman acts, and so much more as your post shows. Teapugs Blocked and filibusted anything and everything the President and Dems attempted to do for the working people and the poor. They stalled and blocked any efforts at job creation and economic stimulus and did nothing but scheme and lie to damage this President. It's all pure politics. At the end of the day I think enough voters can see through the GOP smoke & mirrors CON games and will not only reelect Pres Obama but will toss out the useless lying tea-baggers. The teapugs own Bernie Madeoff, Willard Robme can pack up his Etch-a-Sketch and go back to raiding companies and laying off workers to enrich his elite 1% cronies.
on jobs, here:http://democrats.senate.gov/2012/06/07/reid-republicans-top-priority-is-to-defeat-president-obama-not-create-jobs/
Republican's top Priority, is to defeat President Obama, not create jobs.
Post #2.10 ~ I cringe every time I hear anyone refer to the democrats "controlling" the House or the Senate. Puh... lease.... Talk about being easily indoctrinated. The correct description is that the democrats have been in the majority. Thanks to the filibuster, "control" is certainly not something anyone should ascribe to the democrats relative to the time President Obama has been in office.
I really, really wish program hosts hadn't acceded to this bit of disinformation and that guests would be corrected when they perpetuate it.
Can you explain to me why it matters at this point whose fault it is?
First of all to understand a problem you have to know what caused the problem or you end up trying to fix symptoms without ever solving the problem that created the mess which leaves you with more symptoms. Or better known as GOP policies.
...and you've been clearly and consistently off on your assessment because you don't have the first clue what caused the problem. All you know is left wing rhetoric.
That you think Obama is the greatest president since FDR, and that spending is the way out of the current financial situation we're in just proves how completely delusional you are about identifying problems.
Sorry but Obama is nothing more then a president, see unlike repukes we don't canonize insane soap salesmen that you elect and who created the problems we see today. That is what free loading repukes do run up the bills and skip out of town to avoid paying for those bills. 34 years of repuke free loading.
No, instead you canonize a glorified community organizer who has zero qualifications to be president and is all talk and no action.
Sorry but you've found yet another convenient excuse to spin this to turn the argument back to Reagan and the GOP, neither of which I support in any way except in your twisted imagination.
It's not lost on me that up until this moment you've been so far up Obama's kulu you can smell what he had for breakfast, touting him as the best president since FDR. The minute any criticism is leveled at him he suddenly becomes "nothing more than a President." You're almost right. He's nothing more than a lame duck president.
Figures all of the rightys think you made these numbers up

( More Of ) The GOP -- Keeping millions unemployed to put One Man out of work !
2-17-2012: The House will presumably vote on and pass the payroll tax extension today. Then they'll leave town for ten days in order to celebrate Presidents Day. Cushy gig. No jobs were created.
2-20-2012: Congress is out this week on an extended Presidents Day vacation. Between now and April they're going to take four weeks off. Who the heck made this ridiculous schedule? (Hint: The majority party in the House. The idea being, I suppose, that the less Congress is in session, the less gets done.) No jobs were created.
2-27-2012: The Congressional Circus is back in action after a week off for President's Day, and today they'll be considering H.R. 4078, "The Regulatory Freeze of Jobs Act of 2012." It's worse than it sounds as its intent is "to provide that no agency may take any significant regulatory action until the unemployment rate is equal to or less than 6.0 percent." Cue the sad trombone sound.) No jobs were created.
2-29-2012: The House failed to pass the Research Works Act, which would have prohibitied federal agencies from releasing the result of taxpayer-funded research. No jobs were created.
3-2-2012: Yesterday the House spent most of the day debating and passing the San Joaquin Valley Water Reliability Act. Meanwhile, in the Senate, Democrats, plus Olympia Snowe, fended off the execrable Blunt Amendment. Meanwhile, Speaker Boehner vows to continue contraception fight. Because it's all about jobs, right? No jobs were created.
3-5-2012: On Thursday, the 1st of March, the House unanimously voted to allow itself to give oral histories of the civil rights era, then condemned Iran for finding one of its citizens guilty of apostasy. The House then took Friday off. No jobs were created.
3-7-2012: On Monday the House spent two whole hours naming two federal buildings and then adjourned. On Tuesday they shuffled paper all day regarding a Bureau of Reclamation bill involving hydropower development. No jobs were created.
3-9-2012: The House spent all day Thursday debating H.R. 3606, the "Jumpstart Our Business Startups (JOBS) Act". It is better known as the "Reopening American Capital Markets to Emerging Growth Companies Act". What it actually is, is a financial market deregulation bill. What it REALLY is, is a fake jobs bill. No jobs were created.
3-12-2012: Last Friday, March 9th, members of the House attended a hearing in Saranac Lake, NY, to discuss a farm bill. No jobs were created.
On Monday, March 12th, the House has scheduled a single hearing on (Are you ready?) "Explosion of Federal Regulations Threatening Jobs and Economic Survival in the West"... in Elko Nevada. DAMN those regulations! No jobs were created.
3-14-2012: The House is in another recess until Tuesday, the 20th of March. (In case you don't know, the GOP wrote this schedule. It was designed to ensure that as little legislation would get done as possible.) No jobs were created.
3-19-2012: The House is theoretically in session. They're back in Washington but nothing much is scheduled this week except for hearings. They might as well be painting their bedroom's black and listening to Led Zeppelin albums. No jobs were created.
3-21-2012: On Monday, the 19th, the House was called to order at 4PM. They then spent the next four hours arguing a bill that would allow Israeli nationals to receive nonimmigrant visas. No jobs were created.
On Tuesday, the House convened at Noon. The GOP spent the balance of the day trying to steal a Virginia park to fence to their industrialist buddies. No jobs were created.
3-23-2012: For the past two days the House has been debating H.R. 5, the "HEALTH" bill, which is actually about tort reform. No jobs were created.
3-26-2012: The House took last Friday off. No jobs were created.
3-28-2012: The House debated FCC transparency, baby monitors, and a transportation bill but nothing of note passed. No jobs were created, either.
3-30-2012: The House voted to end Medicare, again, but at least they signed a 90-day extension to the transportation bill. No jobs were created.
4-2-2012: The House vacated the premises early last Friday and won't be back in session until the 16th of April. No jobs will be created.
4-9-2012: The House has scheduled a series hearings this week. No jobs will be created.
4-16-2012: The House is back in session but it's mostly just nuts-and-bolts stuff this week. Although a vote on another corporate tax cut bill (H.R. 9) is in the offing.
4-18-2012: The House voted down the Buffet Rule, awarded Lena Horne a posthumous Congressional Gold Medal, then argued the rest of the day about rules to "enhance" hunting, fishing, and shooting. No jobs were created.
4-20-2012: The House passed "The Small Business Tax Cut Act" (H.R. 9) but they might as well have named the bill "Ponies For Everyone" because it wasn't about small business, and it will never pass the Senate. No jobs were created today.
4-23-2012: The House was in pro forma session. No jobs were created.
4-25-2012: The House spent the day dealing with the legislative version of cleaning their room. In this case it meant passing bills that dealt with adjustments to the boundaries of parklands, land swaps, and the like. No jobs, or anything remotely like them, were created.
4-27-2012: The House pased a couple of suspension bills (The DATA Act and the Small Business Credit Availability Act). They also passed CISPA, which is distressing, but the prez has promised a veto. Looking forward to that. Oh, and no jobs were created.
4-30-2012: On Friday the House approved a bill that lowers the interest on student loans, but tacked on a rider which guts the Health Care Act. It's designed to result in a presidential veto, at which point Republicans can claim that Mr. Obama doesn't care about student loans.
Still pushing the same nonsense that no one reads as it lacks credibility and truth? Typical insanity :)
Thanks Ed for leaving the troll draw for the weekend, and have a nice Fishing Trip. Need to relax now and then.

The republicans in the house seek to portray themselves as valiant losers. To be perfectly honest who can blame them. If they succeed at any form of bipartisan compromise, it will be perceived as political a win for the democrats and the president. They would rather drag their feet to make the democrats look bad than try to compromise on anything.
good job Hope.
hello TM think the re-reg Vatican is someone we all knew. LOL the smug and condescending crap. remind you of someone?
Very first post PS.
Well they believe everyone is like they are so if they make up numbers then everyone must because they are exceptional.
Okay, can you tell us which numbers are being made up and what it has to do with anyone being "exceptional"? Are Americans not exceptional? I believe we are compared to the rest of the world. God Bless America, right? :-)
Everyone of them you have posted. No Americans are not exceptional and the only thing that they have #1 is military spending.
I expect no less from a foreigner - probably from eastern Europe. More jealousy about America's role in the world. You can't even vote for Obama, which makes your posts on this blog even funnier. :-) I may disagree with several Democrats on this blog, but many of them served their nation and also believe America is exceptional. Good luck pushing your BS with them. Go away little foreigner. :-)
No one is jealous about the United States they can't believe how in 34 years the United States citizens have been taken over by lunatics. Why don't you see if the Koch brothers will give you another hotdog and bus ride to protect their wealth.
Now that I know you're not an American citizen, I can see why you're so fixated on Ronald Reagan. As an eastern European, you hate Reagan for defeating the USSR and the Eastern Bloc. It all makes sense now. You want America to follow the same failed economic models as Europe so you can see a weakened nation vs. the strong one that put the boot to the communists, socialists and dictators of the East. :-) Reagan won over Independents, moderate "Blue Dog" Democrats and Conservatives and won the Cold War. God Bless Reagan (R) and Tip O'Neil (D). God Bless USA!
Wow vatican. you are a genious. Would you like to let us in on how you know Whom is not an american.
Whom. They also believe in the tooth fairy.
You apparently lack the ability to read and comprehend the posts on this blog, where I already gave that answer. Go do your homework.

5-2-2012: The House is in recess until 5-7-2012. No jobs will be created.
5-9-2012: The House is back in session but they only passed a handful of suspension bills. No jobs were created.
5-11-2012: The GOP-led House passed several bills that denied the Obama administration funds to fight for progesssive issues. Read the dismal details here. No jobs were created even though Speaker Boehner again claimed the GOP had a tight focus on jobs... when being specifically asked about why his party is passing so much anti-gay legislation. @!$%# this guy.
5-14-2012: Last Thursday the House passed the Sequestration Replacement Act, designed to fatten the Pentagon coffers at the expense of the elderly and the poor. It is destined to die in the Senate. No Jobs were created.
5-16-2012: The House was not in session on Monday, but on Tuesday the legislators busied themselves passing noncontroversial suspension bills. Ho-hum. No jobs were created, but you already knew that.
5-18-2012: The House passed a watered-down Violence Against Women Act. Basically, if you're an immigrant or a native American woman, you're fair game for any sadist. They'll pass a major defense funding bill tomorrow and then will take the next week off. No jobs were created.
5-21-2012: On Friday the House passed a bloated defense spending bill, even though they were obligated to cut defense spending as part of the Super Committee agreement. Not only did the new bill include discriminitory language it also included an amendment allowing the government to institute propaganda against the American people. The president has vowed to veto this bill. No jobs were created unless you count the military contractors rolling in effluent streams of your tax dollars.
5-23-2012: Say it with me now: "The House is in recess until the 30th of May. Must be nice to have so many vacations. Oh, how I hate those indolent GOP swine."
6-1-2012: Another day, another abortion bill. This time the "Susan B. Anthony and Frederick Douglass Prenatal Nondiscrimination Act." Which was designed to stop abortions based on sex or race. Seriously. It failed. Apart from that bit of nonsense the day was one long last-minute rush to pass bills that pay the bills. No jobs were created.
6-4-2012: Last Friday three Democratic (Hahn, Kaptur, Tonko) amendments to increase funding for energy efficiency and renewable energy failed, while three Republican (Hultgren, Chaffetz, McClintock) amendments to reduce funding of energy efficiency and renewable energy also failed. No jobs were created.
Where are the jobs from the first two years when the Demorats controlled the Senate and House under Obama? Where are the jobs Bills created by the Senate since they didn't vote on the House GOP Bills? It's an easy question. Are you better off now than you were four years ago? American people say NO. :-)
Dems did not "control" cogress. Do your homework.
He would rather be a party to this.

Charles and David Koch, the owners of the country’s second-largest private corporation, are libertarians of long standing, who contend that government regulations, taxes and subsidies stifle individual initiative and hamper American competitiveness. In recent years, the Kochs have played an increasingly public role as financial angels for conservative causes, politicians and foundations.
What’s not so well-known is the activity of Koch Industries in the trenches in Washington, where a Center for Public Integrity examination of lobbying disclosure files and federal regulatory records reveals a lobbying steamroller for the company’s interests, at times in conflict with its public pose.
The money that Koch (pronounced “coke”) has spent on lobbying in Washington has soared in recent years, from $857,000 in 2004 to $20 million in 2008. The Kochs then spent another $20.5 million over the next two years to influence federal policy, as the company’s lobbyists and officials sought to mold, gut or kill more than 100 prospective bills or regulations
The funny thing is Larry MD knows where I live as we have had a discussion or two about where we lived.
There's a mistake in the Dow Jones chart - 7.5K is repeated twice. Other than that, Ed and Rachel and Lawrence and Reverend Al and Chris Mathews rule!
No surprise there being an error because they can't even provide you the government source upon which the charts are based. More Liberal nonsense. MSNBC charts are like the truth; fabricated and relative.
That is what momma told daddy in the delivery room.

And again vat proves he doesn't understand facts. And by the way, Those charts tell you where you can find them. Sarry it's over your head. But most things are.
If Republicans wanted to help this country, they would not be so eager to let the Koch brothers buy it, own it and enslave it.

Oh, and the gal that fills in for Lawrence is great too!
let's see here. as I read some right wing logic, I'm supposed to accept that if Bush recieved a 3rd term I would have been better off economically starting his 3rd term. my 401k would be bursting with profit.
Obama didn't take on a recession. that's just some dem cooked book stuff to make Bush look bad.
Iraq/Afgan wars would have been stopped right away due to a 3rd term Bush leadership with a resounding success. the L would have been caught and publically hanged on American tv.
if Bush had a 3rd term with a teapub house and senate, the stock market would be at 20 and that 8 was a dem conspiracy that Bush had nothing to do with.
if Bush had a 3rd term the healthcare cost to Americans would be so low that the world would rank us number one in health care. the health care industry would be bending over backwards just to give away free policies that cover everything from aspirin to major surgery.
if Bush had a 3rd term, corporate America would be at every corner street in America screaming for American labor. out sourcing is again a dem conspiracy to make Bush look bad.
yes I'm glad there was no 3rd term Bush.
some people love to rewrite history. and it is easy to see where the republicans are going with Jeb.......................

Lets talk about Democratic Senator and Leader, Harry Reid, that wants to spend tax payer dollars on the Nevada Cowboy Poetry Festival. Ha! You can't make this stuff up from the left. Their priorities for the American middle class always make me laugh. :-) youtube.com/watch?v=hsDwEUJPlSU

The Vat, has a problem with reading facts. All he wants to do is ignore facts and He post a bogust you tube that does not work.
Seems many of the congress are guilty of loading pork on the menu, so why don't you find some of their junk, like Ms Palins bridge to no where while you are changing the subject?
Better still, EXplain why the only thing the Congress has true spent time on the last couple of years is how to destroy health care. Because they are committed to distroying Obama. That is all they have concern about. They will try to get the same health bill passed when all is said an done, but for now it is their hate for OBAMA. They do not care for you or the rest of us.
Romney- the documented pathological liar - says President Obama has no morals?
Wow! Are we going to have fun with that trumped attack!
LiarRomney - unchristian, unpatriotic and completely unethical.

Christians don't Vote for Liars
But he wears spiffy magic underpants and you know how much tea bagging republicans love magic, why they created a whole magical economy where the wealthy trickle down on everyone instead of following their greedy natures and hoarding wealth.
Here we go again. Ed gets some charts from some progressive leftie in Maddow country and we are all supposed to take it to the bank.
Its so funny. The dems get creamed on Tuesday.....things aren't looking good and Ed and Rachel are digging and digging and digging...just to find something they can slam the right about.
Great entertainment.
By the way....did you hear Obama in his press conference just now. I think he set the record for "uhs" in his answers. And then he made a fast exit before the hard questions hit.
Dem Elizabeth. You said Mitt Romney was a pathelogical liar. Can you back that up with some examples. What you said means all he does is lie.
Give me some examples please. Right now here on this blog.
Johnny, if they respond they will have to admit they get their propaganda from liberal 'group think' a self-licking ice cream cone of nonsense that can't be backed up with government and objective sources. They live in the world of the Daily KOS, Huffington Post, NY Times and Moveon.org; yet they assume we only watch Fox News - that's called "mirror imaging"; assuming your opponent does the same thing you do. :-) Conservatives weren't surprised by the results in Wisconsin; the Liberals were "shocked"!
Yes, Elizabeth please don't call Robme a liar he's my best chance for beating the black guy. When you call my Monday morning quarterback out for saying things like "let Detroit go bankrupt" and then when proven wrong by actual events he changes his mind and says I would have done what the president did, it makes him look bad. Also please don't mention that he said " I would not go into Pakistan, if OBL is there" but somehow later he would have made the same call as the president. LOL
Johnny defending Gov. "Reset" Romney for not being a liar is probably not a good position for you to take. Who coined the term "etch-a-sketch" the Dems or his own party? Remember this is also the guy that campaigned that he is for gay marriage more than Ted Kennedy. He also created Obamacare I mean Romneycare. He also says he is good for the economy but when being called out on the fact that Mass. was 36th in job creation and went to 47th under him, it was the Bush economy's fault, even thought he calls the president out for the very same thing. Sorry, I can't keep up with his many positions on everything.
Vatican -"nonsense that can't be backed up with government and objective sources." You mean like Gov.Walkers job numbers? After being confronted with the fact that he is 50th in job creation with numbers from the U.S. bureau of labor statistics he makes up his own numbers based on his own formula. The trouble with that is if you apply his formula to every other state he still ends up 50th.
Still waiting DemElizabeth!!!!
Now if you want some examples where Barack "misled" us....just let us know!

Chronicling Mitt's Mendacity, Vol. XXI
By Steve Benen
-
Fri Jun 8, 2012 1:17 PM CDT
Campaigning in St. Louis yesterday, Mitt Romney, reading from his teleprompter, told supporters he would never be a "president of doubt and deception."
You could almost hear irony weeping. After all, as Kevin Drum explained, "I expect political candidates to bend the truth a fair amount.... But Romney's willingness to flat-out lie is singular."
Or as Rachel explained just last night, "Mr. Romney gets caught saying things that are factually wrong, and the thing that is different about him is that he does not mind; he doesn't fix it; he doesn't even try to worm out of it. He doesn't appear to feel any shame about it at all -- and he's happy to keep telling the lie once he knows it is a lie."
As has become painfully clear, Romney's reliance on "deception" has practically become an addiction. To help appreciate the scope of the dishonesty, consider the 21st installment of my weekly series, chronicling Mitt's mendacity.
1. Campaigning in Texas, Romney argued, "[W]ith America in crisis, with 23 million people out of work or stopped looking for work, [President Obama] hasn't put forth a plan to get us working again. Now I know we're getting close to an election so he'll come out with one soon, but three and a half years later, we're waiting."
No, actually we're not.
2. Referencing Noam Scheiber's book, "The Escape Artists," told a remarkable tale about Obama and his aides, saying, "[T]here was discussion about the fact that Obamacare would slow down the economic recovery in this country." He added that the administration "knew" the health care reform package would hurt the economy, "but they concluded that we would all forget how long the recovery took once it had happened, so they decided to go ahead."
Given the relevant details, Romney is "just making stuff up" with this deceptive tale.
3. Romney added that he's concerned about the millions of Americans "on food stamps, most of whom never expected that would be their course."
This, at a minimum, is misleading, given that Romney enthusiastically endorsed a budget plan that slashes food stamps.
4. In the same speech, Romney said the Affordable Care Act includes a "job-killing mandate."
The individual mandate in the law does not undermine job creation, and more importantly, Romney championed the same mandate policy for years.
5. In the same speech, Romney rhetorically asked, "Did the trillion-dollar deficits make it more likely for people to invest in America?"
First, the drivers behind the deficits are Bush-era policies, so blaming Obama for them is dishonest. Second, the deficits have not adversely affected investors' willingness to invest in America.
6. Romney also argued that Obama isn't really for an "all the above" energy policy: "All of the above means that you like oil and gas and coal and nuclear and renewables. And yet he has made it harder and harder to take advantage of some of those."
Actually, that's the opposite of the truth. Obama has expanded renewables and expanded nuclear plants. Also, coal production is up; we have more natural gas than we know what to do with; and oil production is up. Obama's support for "all of the above" continues.
7. Romney said Obama has blamed "the ATM machines" for the slow recovery.
As his lies go, this one's just dumb.
8. Romney also said of the president, "His idea is to make America more like Europe."
As it turns out, that's backwards. Europe is trying (and failing) to grow through austerity measures, which is what Romney, not Obama, intends to do here.
9. Romney went on to argue, "If [Obama's] president, you're going to see more trillion-dollar deficits. And they're going to put us on a path to becoming like Greece."
In reality, Obama is already on track to reduce the deficit below a trillion in his second term, and comparing our path to Greece has no basis in reality.
10. Romney also said, "If I'm president, I'm going to put America on a track to get a balanced budget. It's immoral and wrong for us to pass on these obligation to our kids."
That's plainly false. Romney says his plan "can't be scored," but independent budget analysts have found his agenda would make the deficit bigger, not smaller, and add trillions to the national debt.
11. In a campaign ad, Romney claims, in reference to the federal loan guarantee Solyndra received, "The inspector general said contracts were steered to friends and family."
That's as clear a lie as the campaign has told all year.
12. In St. Louis, Romney claimed the Recovery Act "left us with record unemployment."
Actually, millions of Americans owe their jobs to the Recovery Act, and the unemployment rate isn't at a "record" high -- it's lower now than when Obama took office, and it didn't get as high as it did in Reagan's first term.
13. He also argued, "Over the last three and a half years, record numbers of Americans have lost their jobs or simply disappeared from the work force."
The only way in which that makes any sense is if you use standards the Romney campaign rejects.
15. Romney went on to say, "For a family watching their house being sold at foreclosure ... the results are just as devastating."
Romney has no intention of intervening to stop foreclosures.
16. Romney also argued, "Today, government at all levels consumes 37 percent of the total economy or G.D.P. If Obamacare is allowed to stand, government will reach half of the American economy."
There is no version of reality in which this is true.
17. Romney promised, "[F]or every government-spending proposal, I will ask the following question: 'Is this program so important that it is worth borrowing more money from China to pay for it?'"
The implication here is that U.S. debt is financed by the Chinese. This isn't true -- China only holds about 8% of the nation's debt.
18. Describing President Obama's economic vision, Romney said, "There is nothing fair about a government that favors political connections over honest competition."
This is a serious allegation of corruption, which Romney has backed up with literally no facts of evidence at all.
19. The Romney campaign claimed in a press release, "Under President Obama, the nation has lost 552,000 jobs."
Again, according to the Romney campaign's own standards, the Romney campaign isn't being honest.
20. And finally, the Romney campaign argued this week that the taxpayer investment in Konarka Technologies during Romney's tenure as governor "was approved by the prior administration. The governor made it clear that his philosophy was that government should not be in the business of venture investing."
That's a nice attempt at spin, but it's not even close to being true.

LaBolt the dolt? The DNC answer to Romney lies is parroting talking points? Be afraid — be very afraid!
Relative to Romney.... Maybe it’s not about the lies. Remember the proposal to the Republican superpac??? Maybe it’s about “teaching people to hate” the President — or at least giving them something they can use to justify their Obama-phobia. Any of the people connected with that proposal working at or with the Romney campaign????
Christians do not vote for documented pathologial liars!
Romney is a proven documented liar without a conscience.
Obama/Biden 2012 Forward with Decency and Truth
The charts displayed here simply show unambiguously that the economy is growing once the stimulus bill was passed. The stimulus bill has helped our economy pullout of the worst recession since 1929. Nobel winning economist Paul Krugman says that the Great Recession is really the "Lessor Depression". The only reason we did not have a Great Recession II was that Secretary Paulson and Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke during the last months of the Bush administration recognized the imminent danger of total collapse during the spring and summer of 2008. Without the strong reaction of these two men we would right now probably have 25% unemployment. Few people really understand how terrible and close we came to complete financial collapse in 2008. Now these Republican maggots are fighting the Frank-Dodd reforms that seek to end the Wall Street abuses that caused the collapse of our financial system.
Republicans who support supply side economics have everything completely backwards from what we need to be doing. Paul Krugman wanted a much larger stimulus bill of around $1.4 trillion back in 2009. Instead, all that President Obama could probably get passed in Congress, numb from TARP and other bailouts, was about $750 billion. The stimulus was large enough to help pull the economy out of the ditch of depression but not large enough to pull us out of recession. Paul Krugman is correct in saying that another jobs bill must be passed to deal with the millions of chronically unemployed and underemployed Americans. President Obama asked for a $450 billion American Jobs bill back in the fall of 2011. But Speaker Boehner has failed to bring the American Jobs bill to the floor because he is a gutless coward in dealing with the Tea Party Republicans.
We still need about $2.2 trillion worth of infrastructure investments for roads, bridges, ports, water mains and sewers, electrical grids, and nuclear power plants that are long past their design lives. We need new nuclear plants or else we will have to shut down these old nuclear plants. Modern nuclear technology is needed to provide our base load power. The power industry is trending towards natural gas plants but relying on natural gas for all of our electrical needs would be a huge error. Once an energy crisis hits natural gas could become extremely expensive sending electrical rates through the roof. Solar, wind, geothermal connected by smart grids are what America desperately needs for the 21st century.
We should really be spending about $3 trillion on infrastructure including money for a bullet train along the northeast corridor from Bangor, Maine to at least Alexandria, Virginia. Such a program would be like an Apollo moonshot that would invigorate our economy. The French have TGV bullet trains and the Germans have the ICE bullet train. We should have the same in America where our population density warrants it like in the northeast and the west coast. We are at peak world oil and another energy crisis will cause a huge need for bullet trains. Flying and driving will be prohibitively expensive once oil goes to $200 per barrel. China, India, and other industrializing BRIC countries are building more than 200 million cars over the next ten years.
Flat earth conservatives are in denial about the need for a green energy policy and the implications of peak oil. Flat earth conservatives are also in total denial about the growth of the industrialized BRICs and Pacific Rim countries. The U.S. no longer calls all the shots and the Asians will set the destiny of the 21st century. This is nothing to be afraid of but we must have forward looking policies that cause us to adapt to the challenges we face. This is why everyone on this blog should support President Obama's forward leaning leadership while rejecting the negativity and cultural lag of the GOP under Mitt Romney. We have to build our country up not tear it down like the Republicans want to with more tax cuts for the wealthy while raping the public sector that is essential for our future economic growth and competitiveness.
Please explain to me why this forum keeps talking about the Koch brothers but fail to say anything about george soros, a Hungarian born pusher for the demise of America? Our president wants to make us purchase something just for breathing ( obama care ) which goes against the basic foundation of freedom. obama said that his regime would be the MOST open in our history (WOW what a FAILURE)! More Government is not the answer but it is the Problem.
Because Soros, a name you righties got from Fox news and Glen Beck, doesn't try to buy elections like the Koch brothers do.
No..he just crashes economies...
Toxic vomit.
Corrupt Media Idiot: The Koch brothers are plutocrats who are major donors for radical right winged ultraconservative causes. The Koch brothers and ALEC get together with other Super-PAC donors to push vicious right winged legislation by electing candidates that are beholden to their radical ideology. The vote in Wisconsin revealed that the Koch brothers and a few other conservative billionaire donors gave huge amounts of money to Scott Walker's recall election campaign. When the Koch brothers and Super-PAC billionaire donors can give seven times more than Democrats who traditionally use in state donors and much small amounts of outside contributor to campaigns, the integrity of the whole election process is seriously compromised. The GOP has become the party of the plutocrats and our election system is simply an auction sold to the highest plutocratic bidder. We need public financing for all elections period otherwise our democracy will die and become a corporatist state run by plutocrats.
So where is your plan for providing 50 million uninsured Americans with health insurance. I support the Affordable Care Act because it will provide 32 million uninsured Americans with health insurance. 45,000 uninsured Americans die from treatable conditions annually because they have no access to the health care system. We have one million bankruptcies because of expensive medical bills. The uninsured cost all of us with health insurance at least $1100 annually to cover their ER visits. So we already are paying for the 50 million uninsured only ER visits can cost many times the amount of a clinic appointment.
So you hate the Affordable Care Act even though it is an idea from Richard Nixon and Mitt Romney? If you do not want to provide a better solution to our health care problem shut your mouth and get off of this blog you idiot. Maybe someone in your family needs to die from being uninsured or file for bankruptcy from expensive medical bills then you will understand why we need universal health care you ignorant stupid moron.
Good Morning rex--name calling and regurgitating the main democratic talking points prove nothing. You contradict yourself several times, the democrats can load their war chest without comment but let the republicans do it and it suddenly becomes wrong.
You say that the 50 million have no access to health care but then you say that we pay for their ER visits. Trying to have it both ways again. Thats very typical.
To help bring health care cost down, let's start with the lawyers and the lawsuits they troll for on TV everyday. Everyday Doctors have to order unnecessary test just to cover themselves from the possibility of a lawsuit.
Also rex with the pent up tension you seem to have, you just might need to head to the ER so I can help pay for your free visit.
Toxic vomit.
Let's hope 4 more change in the Whitehouse in 2012. A new resident would be great!!!
Vatican: The Canadians lead the U.S. in the number of Associates and college degrees for young adults aged 25 to 34. About 53% of Canadians in this age group get an associate's degree or college degree while only 40% of Americans get at least an associate's degree. We are now ranked number 12 in the world in college degrees in this 25 to 34 age group. America used to be number one in this category in the 1980's. The BRIC countries and industrialized Asian-Pacific countries are pushing higher education, mathematics, science, and engineering plus investing in green energy and state of the art infrastructure such as broad band and bullet trains. If the U.S. does not keep up with these BRIC and Asian-Pacific countries we will lose nearly all of our good high tech start up companies and all the good paying jobs will be in Asia not America. Canadians really are smarter than American conservatives.
Why is America fallen to number 12 in the number of college degrees for young adults 25-34? Underfunding of higher education is the main reason. GOP policies of starting wars in Iraq and Afghanistan plus the Bush tax cuts of 2001 and 2003. The Center for Budget and Policy Priorities concluded that the major causes of the trillion dollar deficits are the Bush tax cuts that are still in effect plus the ongoing expenses of the two wars. Iraq and Afghanistan will cost $4 trillion long term. We need to raise taxes on the richest Americans to at least a 50% rate or higher to cover the wars that made lots of profits from fat war contracts for their corporations. Remember Halliburton, Kellogs-Brown and Root, and many other corporate contractors that made huge sums from the Iraq war?
The Medicare part D program that was a giveaway to big Pharma also added hundreds of billions of dollars to the national debt. President Obama inherited these two wars and Bush's idiotic tax cuts. It will take at least another term before we can dig ourselves out of the hole Bush dug for America. If Romney wins the Presidency the CBO has scored the Ryan budget saying that it will add many trillions of dollars to the national debt. A Romney presidency will dig our deficit grave deeper because Romney wants to make the Bush tax cuts permanent. Romney will help dig the grave that will bury America's middle class.
Our dropping from first place to 12th place in college education is a bad omen for the future. Unless we invest more in public education, higher education, including math, science, engineering and technical studies it will be an Asian 21st century not an American one. The GOP is setting our kids up to fail in the 21st century global economy.
Have you found those airplane loads of British, Canadian, and Australian citizens who are flocking to use our expensive and dysfunctional American fee for service health care system? You go find all of those airplane loads of people because in the the real world such airplane loads of people do not exist. Those people only exist in the mind of a mentally deficient conservative.
Mr Ed,
You and your socialist staff just don't understand America.
STOP SPEWING YOUR VILE LIES !!!!!!!!
All men are created equal.....life is not fair.....there's no reason your welfare maggots should get another dime. If obama created so many jobs, why do the democratic welfare and food stamp lists keep growing under his regime???????
Answer that Mr Ed.
lol thanks for the laugh.
We can see from the responses on this blog the ignorance of the conservatives in America. The Canadians spend money on a single payer provincial run Medicare for all type medical system. Canadians go to school year around. Canadians are number one in getting at least an Associates or a Bachelor's Degree for adults aged 25-34 at 53% of their young adults. America used to be number one in the 1980's but today we are ranked number 12 in the world. Human capital investments really matter when facing the competitive onslaught of the BRIC countries and Pacific-Rim countries and other developing countries like Argentina, Chile, Mexico, and South Africa. Emerging markets require well educated workers in a global economy and America is slipping backwards ominously.
Canada kept its banks regulated and did not have a taxpayer bailout in 2008. Conservatives insisted that we deregulated our banking system. So the moral of the story is if you want to see a country that invests in its human capital successfully, look at Canada. If you want to look at why Canadians are much smarter and intellectually advanced than ignorant American conservatives. Look at this blog or go to Tea Party rally or listen to Mitt Romney for confirmation of this statement. Conservatives are ignorant people with the moral values of mafia gangster. Only a corporate/mafia bully would want tax cuts during two wars. But this is what American conservatives are selfish, nasty, rotten, and ignorant bullies.
