It affects only Wisconsin it is up to the rest of the nation if they want the same thing in their state.

We are in deep doodoo people. This is worse the voodoo. I think it's time for second amendment remedies (remember nevada senate race) if you get my drift. pitchforks and shovels won't work. We need a leader - the antithesis of ted nugent to lead the charge. Join the 99% movement, join the occupy movement. we have been thoroughly sold out by our representative form of government.

While the 1% cries about paying their fair share of taxes they sure do like to waste it on politicians. I'll say it again, all of that money could have been put to such better use like helping to rebuild the infrastructure.
Do I think this will affect the middle class? I hope so in a positive way. Maybe more will get out and vote for their best interest, not for the benefit of the 1%.
I thought there was a strong ground movement in Wisconsin to get Democrats out to vote. Sounds to me like people are just crying over spilled milk. If the DNC thought this was a good fight believe me they would have pumped in plenty of money. The Unions only put up paltry 6 million themselves, and I think if they thought their existence depended on this vote they would have been all in. By doing so they would have captured quite a bit of momentum going into the long summer before the election heats up.
There was enough of a ground game. The ' machines ' left out 300 to 500 thousand Democratic votes. This is the same sham we have been seeing all over America for the last decade.
Cite a source Hope, or shut it down. America has had enough lies.

Funny how the fringe elements on both parties scream voter fraud when they lose. Have they ever considered the people were against the idea and they just flat out lost. Something to think about Hope! If there were votes left out I am sure the media or at least MSNBC would have been hollering about it by now.
I saw the robo-call story generated last night by MS-DNC the lefty's propoganda machine. Again, cite a source or shut it down. If that really happened to so many people, surely someone has a recording of it, right?

And when a call comes in, it is not answered and the person calls that number and it turns out to be Republithug headquarters, there is NO DOUBT that something is rotten in Wisconsin.
The GOP Idiots called Democratic Senators with the robocall !!! Can you believe how stupid they are ?? Also, an independent journalist call the number back from the caller ID and it announced that the caller had reached the Republican National Committee !

I can't answer this question now because after all is said and done, the Democrats did take over the Senate. They can stop Walker's radical agenda now. Just like the House in Washington, D.C. under Republicans can stop everthing Pres. Obama wants to do. What the Dems need to do now is come out and quote McConnell's statement about Obama. Our goal from now on is to make Scott Walker a One Term Govenor.THEN DO IT!
16 state legislative seats are up in November and projections have Republicans with a 2-seat advantage afterwards. It's a short-lived win. But anything can happen.

I live in Canada and watch most nights. I feel sick for the whole USA. The $$$$$ in this recall was sickening. The NRA are criminals. Why can this happen in the land of the free? Can the people say no to the Citizen United/Supreme's?

Thanks Frank Lynde's Daughter. We will need all of your prayers. My Father was born in 1900 and at the age of 9 his Father died. He was forced to quit school and go into the coal mines to help support his family. Yes, things like that happened in those days. He died at 57 after spending all of his working life in the mines. When he died, my Mother was left with two children, age 5 and 12. The mine, nonunion, gave him nothing. Not a dime. No insurance, no pension, nada. The kind men he worked with got together and gave $300 that they had collected. I am 75 years old and have lived through a lot. Without unions, most of you out there would have nothing. Like they used to say, you wouldn't have a pot to urinate in, my word, or a window to throw it out of.

But for Tx, I never drive through without stopping at the Big Texan for a steak or two. Finally sold my house lots outside dal ft worth, the city got way to close.
That has been my favorite state, I gladly wrote my check every year and put it in the bank. Not once was it delayed in clearing, and not once was I fined for not paying enough taxes.

Texas is a "Right to Hire" and "Right to Fire" State and we have very few unions here. Texas has one of the better economies. Being a Red State not to bad.

Can't they write / call there rep to have those things increased like any other law on the books you want to change. I would love top watch the debate on increasing the payments so the state can go in the red again. That interest money needs to be paid to the koch brothers. They are in need of repayment for the money they spent.

OMG Ed, the days of the Unions being a positive service for people is over! Thank God Walker won. It should have never been a recall. NO union member should be getting any better benefits that than avg person. Unions are over paid, they call in sick more than anyone, they file clims for disability more than anyone, they don't work unless someone is there to babysit them. I say good riddens to them and your show!
I agree! When Walker took over union workers made 28% more than non-union workers doing the same job. They now make 22% more since his reforms, and hopefully by its end they are paid the same. I am tired of doing the same work as union workers and not being paid as much and they work less. I thought it was interesting in how fast the dues dropped after he was elected. I guess they did not see the benefit anymore.

If Walker and his handlers can repeat what they did in Wisconsin in other states then it will affect the middle class and the economy. When you lose a job, lose a part of your income there is no question there is a negative affect on our nation's entire economy and the middle class. It's far too easy to slip from middle class wages into poor working class wages in the jobs market we have now.
How can people vote against their own interests? You don't believe in recalls but you believe in a dishonest governor controlled by extreme rightwingers? You don't want your tax dollars paying the wages for a union employee because he/she works for the state or local government?
Well, Wisconsin and Walker are bought and controlled by people who do not care about anyone or anything but their power, money, control and ideology. It's not good for any class of people except the ones that bought the recall election.

That's very true. But something seems wrong there. First of all it's incongruous. The union members are supposed to have been against Walker; why would they even vote for him is questionable (to me at least).

This is probably the least skewed poll question in a while. In fact, I'm surprised the answer isn't 100% yes. Some will think he will hurt them and others will think he will help the middle class but almost everybody would agree he will have an impact of some kind in the future. After all, he is a sitting governor. They tend to have some impact on the economy of the state.
