Thanks to the Supreme Court, America now have the best Election Money can buy.
ditto.
i bet this will lower employment, there because the flood of people leaving there will be over whelming
Not so far fetched I'm betting this is. I agree. In fact, there will more likely be a reverse immigration to Mexico.
That is exactly what Walker supporters are hoping for. Once again I grew up in Walkersha [Waukesha]. People there and suburban Milwaukee feel too many freeloaders came to Wisconsin to take advantage of our generous state aid programs. It isn't uncommon with people all over. When you are working and doing OK those who don't must have something wrong with them. But when it is you facing hard times it is a different story. I am and have been doing OK for some time now, but know stuff happens. I would hate to be thought of as a freeloader if by any chance I do fall on hard times.
An understanding of our political process is not COMMON KNOWLEDGE.

Koch interest in Wisconsin? Deregulation.
Good Bye United States, Welcome to Corporate $tate$ of America.
I cannot understand the % that does not believe that Walker is set to undermine the middle class (er, the shrinking middle class that is). Those who support Walker and the other right wing governors will also suffer. To see Walker and his supporters gloating over his win was sickening. Their agenda is to get rid of all vestiges of the middle and working classes so we have no more rights whatsoever. That means no minimum wage in addition to no unions. If anyone feels that these things are going to make America stronger they'd better rethink it. America is on the cusp of being just another third world country. Well, let me just clarify and state that even third world countries offer universal healthcare and either free or subsidized education. America will soon be a nation that is full of unhealthy and uneducated people who will only be at the mercy of this 1% that's trying hard to control the 99%. Our so-called democracy will turn into another fascist regime. Check the histories of Chile, Spain, Italy, and Portugal and notice the same pattern. Very very sad.
Let this fire up the people to get out of their comfortable chairs and work to overcome the radical right who are hellbent on destroying the middle class.
That's right, Nancebelle. The radical right can succeed only if the rest of us go along peacefully and willingly. We all need to be reminded what America is all about. Otherwise, we may end up remembering how America used to be.
If this does happen and they go after peoples pensions every senator and congressman better give up their pensions. Arn't we the people paying for their pensions and great medical care. I'd like to ask Paul Ryan if he's willing to give his cushion up. This will only hurt the middle class if we let them get away with this destruction of the USA.
I don't think the DEMOCRATS are getting it. Or they are not up to the challenge.
It's not over yet.
Democrats have the SENATE!
YES!!
Yesterday the people of Wisconsin voted to destroy the middle class of America.
Just a note: public sector workers pay taxes like everyone else. They are the people we count upon to run public services. They have been attacked unfairly by Walker and his ilk and the people of Wisconsin, who I'm sure count on public sector workers to clear the snow in blizzards, have turned their backs on public servants.
I can't wait for Walker to be indicted.
I loved the videos of the public sector sitting drinking coffee in NYC while the city was buried under snow and the plows sat on the curb.
But walker hasn't fired anyone, so how are they attacked?
What my cousin did was buy a plow head for his truck, and sell season plowing to the neighbors. $50 apiece got your driveway and street front done for any and all snowstorms. Now you had clear street, not a city truck flying by at 45 mph with the blade up 6 inches so it wouldn't rip off on the speed bumps. Didn't have to take money from bain so is still in business.
If you can't see it, you're blind.
I guess I spent to much time standing in line at the dmv.
Stupidita, your name suits you. Obviously, you do not know the history of this country. Lots of conversation on how our schools need to do a better job at teaching math and science but I really think they need to teach U.S history better than they have been. After all, those who do not learn from history are bound to repeat it.The labor movement happened for a reason. If labor unions didn't exist, the average income for the middle class wouldn't be 50k as you say, but would probably be poverty level with no benefits at all. There wouldn't be much of a middle class. We are moving that way now. Seems like we are going back to pre WW1 society of a few having everything and many working all their lives so that a few may have everything and they themselves end up with nothing. I think we will get there or close to there but it won't last long because the 1% hasn't learned from history either. Hope I am still around to witness the backlash.
It will give the middle class a better economy. Walker won & the DOW went up
+286. Can't wait to see how high the DOW will go up when Romney wins.!!!!!
Only 30% showed up to vote. Walker won by a very slim margin: 6.9% Outwardly the Republicans are gloating, but inwardly they are sweating.
ROTFLMAO....that is funny
I truly believe Walker's re-election was bought with "BIG MONEY". We lost so let regroup and get ready for November. The Repubs are gearing up for a crooked election; the handwriting is on the wall.
I voted yes,-- simply because there are too many people who just still don't get it. The re-election of Walker led me to believe that people are not taking these guys serious. Walker told, and showed Wisconsin what his job killing proposal would be, and they still voted for him. Even though he is under investigation for ethics violations, They still let him back in the door, to finish tearing their house down. . The Middle class are on their way to destroy themselves, by letting Money be the incentive to vote for these radical Republicans. They are not thinking about the consequences of what voting some one in office, who's only agenda is, is to scratch the back of their rich donors backs. I guess they can just blame President Obama, for the rug being pulled from under their feet when they come tumbling down. The writing is on the wall of every State, it's up to the voters to read it.
You are so right Rachel. When too many people don't even bother to vote and don't pay any attention to politics, what happened in Wisconsin is what we get.
It would not have mattered how much money Walker's puppet masters ( The Kochroach Brothers etc ) spent there if people gave enough of a damn to just spend an hour out of their day, month, year to vote.
Rachael, I think maybe we hit on the problem awhile back. They are duped, brain washed. Its allot like you know cutting off your nose will hurt but you do it any way. Just wait till Nov. Say if they take the country over i wonder what they will say then? Do the people have to loose everything before they get it?
Hey ---PAM-Hope--I agree too, I was so disappointed last night, but it's one of those things, like Rev. AL said, we've got to fight some more. I see now that statics are right. Most people don't know who's running for election unless they see them on a commercial. It's so sad but true. Who you vote for has came down to who has the best sound bite on a advertisement while you're watching your favorite show on TV, even while we are in an era where the Republicans are trying to take away all rights that we fought for.....HELLO 1924.
WI, "the "Great Experiment" for corporate money buying elections for greedy, crimminal liars has worked. The destruction of what's LEFT of the middle class is well on it's way unless people do NOT stop voting against their own interests after THIS damnation. Citizens United MUST be repealed after we vote out the fascists and regain control of Congress but first that means voters have GOT to stop screwing themselves.
Yes this is the end of the USA. The Repug dumb down public education & now we can see the results. Lazy voters who rely on TV commercials for election info.
New country Name: Corprate States of America, or America LLC
The claim that Walker outspent Barrett 7 to 1 is not true. When you add up all the money spent for Barrett vs Walker there is less than a 10% difference. The libs are not counting the money the unions spent. The union spent millions bringing non-Wisconsins from outside Wisconsin, yet they complain about the outside influence of political pacs. Yes, the election will have an impact on the middle class. Now there's a good chance more Wisconsin residents will be able to move up into the middle class.
So where is you source. You can claim anything. That does not make it true.
No, chance to move up. More like become a koch slave, do you call that moving up?
If nothing else it will emobolden the Republicans to push through even more radical legislation. Unless we can stop big money from buying our elections, I weep for the future of this country.
Welcome to Serfdom, USA.
. . . and I don't mean Surf's up, Dude.
It's time to take a serious look at where our country is headed. I'll never have enough money or political clout to go toe to toe with the Kochs, or Rove, or Armey, Simmons, Perry, Adelson and a very few others.
All I have is my vote - for what it's worth.
I love shutting the mouth of Ed. Try again ED.
Your effort in trying to get Walker recalled was as effective your name
"ED"...... too funny!
Andy
If all you're going to do is bad mouth the host, you can leave now. But you love it so much you watch and listen. Then come on HIS blog site and bad mouth him. Typical rightie.
