I hope Barrett wins this election. If not, I'm afraid the message for the rest of the country will be....money wins AND DEMOCRACY is DEAD.
I hope and pray Democracy is alive and well and Badgers send Walker packing.
We can't get this economy jump started and healthy again on nickels and pennies...which is what the Koch boys and their elitist friends want for the majority, 99%.

Obama Has Now Increased Debt More than All Presidents from George Washington Through George H.W. Bush Combined
The Obama administration passed another fiscal milestone this week, according to new data released by the Treasury Department. As of the close of business on Oct. 3, the total national debt was $14,837,099,271,196.71—up about $44.8 billion from Sept. 30.
That means that in the less-than-three-years Obama has been in office, the federal debt has increased by $4.212 trillion--more than the total national debt of about $4.1672 trillion accumulated by all 41 U.S. presidents from George Washington through George H.W. Bush combined.
This $4.212-trillion increase in the national debt means that during Obama's term the federal government has already borrowed about an additional $35,835 for every American household--or $44,980 for every full-time private-sector worker. (According to the Census Bureau there were about 117,538,000 households in the country in 2010, and, according to theBureau of Labor Statistics, there were about 93,641,000 full-time private-sector workers.)
When Obama was inaugurated on Jan. 20, 2009, according to the Treasury Department, the total national debt stood at $10,626,877,048,913.08.
At the end of January 1993, the month that President George H. W. Bush left office, the total national debt was $4.1672 trillion, according to the Treasury. Thus, the total national debt accumulated by the first 41 presidents combined was about $44.8 billion less than the approximately $4.212 trillion in new debt added during Obama's term.
As of Monday, Obama had been in office 986 days—or about 32 and a half months. During that time, the debt increased at an average pace of $4.27 billion per day. Were that rate to continue until Obama's term ends on Jan. 20, 2013, the debt would then stand at about $16.86534 trillion—an increase of more than $6.2 trillion for Obama's four years.
That would equal nearly $53,000 for each American household or more than $66,00 for each full-time private-sector worker.
Funny the charts at the treasury department don't say that at all.

The first thing I heard tuning in was " a 119% turnout in _______county;" Followed closely by the news that voters were being asked to print registration forms at home and bring them to the Polls: New voters are swelling the turn-out numbers to nearly unimaginable proportions.
I voted Barrett based on my gut instinct that WE, THE PEOPLE OF AMERICA, LED BY WISCONSIN, ARE GOING TO PREVAIL AGAINST FASCISM.
Frankly, I'm terrified money is going to buy this election and November's.
But I'm also determined to fight till the last moment of my last day against the destruction of our GREAT COUNTRY and its living Constitution.
If money wins I will willingly volunteer to go into the streets and emulate the heros Wisconsin progressive Democrats are.
When we win we'll have proved democracy cannot be overpowered with bigotry, racism, hate and money. If we lose I'll support civil disobedience. Our final resort may well be guillotines ...a terrible contemplation. Still, EVIL will not prevail!

I live in California where we represent about ten percent of the poulation and Democrats outnumber Republicans 2 to 1. The young and indigent have been lazy, in the past, about their voting responsibilies. They won't be this year: Wisconsin is showing the nation how to win the fight that must be won.
I voted early this morning and the polling place was full. First time I've seen that in a primary in my life of 70 years. My wife voted on her way home from work at a SoCA University where she's working five years past retirement age because of GW Bush?Dick Cheney/Karl Rove/ Grover Norquist and the Koch Bro's bankrupting America: She found the polling place full, while being told a bigger swell was on its way...

From the sounds of some precincts being down to ten ballots six minutes before the polls close, sounds like Barrett has a chance at it tonight. And even if he doesn't do it, it shows that Democrats can fight this big money. Go Wisconsin. You are making people who believe in government for the people proud.
if walker wins, someone is going to need to explain how barrett got ~75% of his donations from in state and walkers donation were only ~25% in state. i just don't see how walker could get enough votes on that number. even considering sm. vs. lg donations. sorry, that just doesn't add up! so based on the donations to each candidate, i predict a big congratulations wisconsin, you showed the rest of the country how to do this thing!
Latest Indictments Look Bad for Scott Walker. It would be great if we can recall him then he is arrested. Karma has a way of coming back to you.
