We are hearing for some time that it is a closed race. I certainly hope that it is time for the Wisconsin people to go out and vote to make sure that Gov Walker is defeated. That will mean the middle class wins. These war of the Republicans against middle class, poor, students, women, seniors and others must stop.
Hoping for the best (Barrett) but expecting the worst (Walker).

I understand, I think we all hope for the best, but fear the worst. But I'm trying to keep a positive attitude and not expecting Walker to be alowed to buy a win... not easily anyway. There would truly be nothing better than for Barrett to win and know how much money the Koch's wasted on supporting Walker.

But doesn't that mean that knowledge corrupts in the long run. I don't agree with that. In my view, knowledge is always a good thing, and leads to informed decisions. Which is why the GOP generally keep their followers MISINFORMED.

We also had primary election in CA today. I voted for Barack Obama for Demo candidate, of course, and got to vote for Diane Feinstein for Senate again, over the "ditz" Orly Taitz and a slew of other challengers.... I think about 23 in all. Good grief.

Good to see both of you also. I'm doing okay. I know I haven't been on much lately, but hopefully might be able to get back a bit more often. I've been busy or distracted by frequent visitors, my parents and helping them get a rental property ready to rent.... among other things.
No... California definitely doesn't need Orly Taitz in the Senate. If you saw Rachel's show, you saw the huge list of primary challengers Feinstein had for her Senate seat... but she's been my gal since she first ran. Plus Taitz is a GOOF BALL.

The voter suppression, the robo calls giving incorrect info, and then there is that one Repug Elections Supervisor (can't recall which district) who always waits to turn in her ballots numbers until she finds out how many extra votes the GOP candidate needs to win... then mysteriously comes up with just enough.

Well... it looks like Walker and the Repugs have succeeded in BUYING ANOTHER ELECTION. It is disappointing for Wisconsin and unions, etc. It also makes me more worried about the Presidential election, as well as Senate and Congress. The biased and corrupt GOP Justices in the Supreme court have given the GOP the permission to buy the entire government and subvert Democracy thanks to their decision on Citizens United. And this after they gave the 2000 election to GW Moron who proceeded to destroy the country.
But I agree with Pilotshark... we have to keep on fighting, we can't give up... or our country will definitely be completely lost. We have to get this abhorrent decision overturned and set Democracy and government of the people, for the people, by the people right again. We can also keep in mind that this turdbag Scott Walker is still being investigated and hopefully will end up in prison or at least impeached... and out of office anyway.
Also... the Dems have already destroyed the majority the Repugs have in the State house and will be able to stop any further legislation meant to take away the rights of the workers, etc.

Gout medication blew out a disk. Can't have any sugar and had to start taking digestive enzymes. It all started with an innocent little flu shot.

The stuff in the criminal complaint sounds very much like Dick Nixon. Several people have already been prosecuted. Walker and his crew used a secret government server to manage election email while in the workplace on government time.
People go to jail for things like that. You can't use government property or payroll to manage election business. That needs to be done outside the workplace using private funds. Even a measly stamp could land you in jail.
Koch industries actually managed to get a criminal elected this time.
This gets worse the longer Walker escapes jail time.
