Yes, yes...HELL YES!
Yes. Hope WI sends him down the Capitol steps and out on the street.
MARSHA - Iwould rather see him thrown off the roof of the capitol building head first.Unfortunately ,it would be one hell of a mess to clean up after he goes SPLAT.
We have been working hard here in WI to make this happen to get Walker out. Please keep sending us good thoughts tomorrow to get us there. This is what democracy looks like!
Darlene--God bless you. You carry the torch for the entire country. We are counting on Wisconsin to show the way to defending the middle class. We cannot allow a handful of ultra rich millionaires and billionaires to BUY our politicians and push an agenda that enriches them at the expense of the middle class.
Our teachers are the backbone of education for our children to reach for a better life. We have to support our public workers who are tax payers like everyone else.
Darlene, God speed. We love you!
It doesn't matter if he's backed by millionaires / billionaires. What makes the difference is the number of VOTES actually counted. The more he has against him ( WALKER ) the less chance he has of winning.
wisconsin voters better make sure the repubs don't cheat like they did in the previous recall.
Yes!!!
Any working American who votes for a republican is sick.
I hear that a lot, but tell me why. I need specifics, not rhetoric. How am I voting against MY own best interests when I vote GOP?
How did you do during the Clinton years?
Poison—an appropriate name. Are you a millionaire or billionaire? Are you a member of the middle class?
One: your wages have not gone up in the past decade while the top 1% has increased it’s wealth by 275% or more.
Two: Republicans are hell bent on doing away with Social Security and Medicare, two programs that saved the poor and middle class from descending into poverty in old age. There really was such a thing as the “poor house” back in the 19th century when the rich controlled all money. Reference the writings of Charles Dickens. Surely you have heard of Ebenezer Scrooge. “Are there no work houses? Are there no prisons?” Debtor’s prisons, Poison.
Three: Before the advent of unions, people worked until they dropped. No breaks, no lunch, no bathroom breaks, extensive hours on the line and many of the workers were children who had to work to survive. All benefits that any worker enjoys today derived from unions. 40 hour work week, lunch breaks, bathroom breaks, holiday pay, vacation pay, healthcare benefits, safety regulations, etc. etc.
Republicans want to go back to those days so they can reclaim even more profits for CEO’s and use a slave labor force to cut costs.
Four: Healthcare for all. Children up to 26 years of age can be insured under parents’ coverage. No one can be thrown off insurance when they get sick. And they can’t be denied for pre-existing conditions such as pregnancy etc. Women cannot be charged more because they are women.
Republicans are against ALL of these benefits to middle class and the poor. There is much more but time is running out.
I am a member of the middle class, and yet I have seen significant increases in my wages, particularly from 1997-2007.
I am so tired of the old scare tactics that Republicans want to take away SSA and Medicare. They said that about Reagan, and obviously it wasn't true. Doing nothing but kicking the can down the road like the Dems want will guarantee that SSA fails, then cutting the taxes like Obama has just hastens the failure.
Unions were needed 80 or 100 years ago, but I hardly believe anybody is going back to those conditions now, even if Unions disappeared tomorrow.
As for healthcare, the Affordable Health Care Act is anything but affordable and does nothing to fix the rising costs of healthcare for average working Americans. I do like the provision allowing children up to 26 to be covered on their parents healthcare insurance, but it came a little late for me.
That's because countless gop amendmentstook the teeth out of the AFA but the pre-existing provision meaning that insurers cannot deny coverage t children for re-existing conditions has been done way with and if the corporate owned scotus does not KILL it next month, that provision will extend to ADULTS as well. The einsurance exchanges will allow small businesses to combine their purchasing power and get the rates larger groups get from insurers which they sure can't get now and have not been able to get for years due to having less employees to "spread risk" and everyone having to be underwritten and then virtually underwritten all over AGAIN when someone submits a claim for a BLOODY EAR INFECTION!!!!
I worked in the health insurance industry for years in claims, went to school during that time and got my life and license in WI before leaving the bloodthirsty thankles job and going to work in provider billing/insurance for the remainder of that time. As for your wage INCREASING, maybe it has as while all wages have seen some increase, the cost of health insurance and contributions to 401ks AFTER the Wall St mess as well as the fact after 2000 health plans at work got worse each year, my wage sure d/n "increase" but rather DECLINED like most middle class earners did. Sorry, but I am not buying your BS.
I sincerely hope so. If Walker wins then every other extremist governor will get even worse and the poor and middle class will slide farther backward financially in this country. This is a defining moment for Democrats and people who do not like autocracies.
Keep on walking Scott, you've got nowhere to hide. Throw this bum out WI and good luck tomorrow.
COME ON MY FELLOW DEMOCRATS............lets win this big time. Lets show America that money doesn't matter and that being Americans standing up for what we believe in and sticking together as one we can we Will prevail. Tonight is your night Wisconsin and I am in Massachusetts and right here with all of you. This is all of our fight and together we can move mountains and get back what walker is trying to destroy..................the middle class and our Unions, our jobs. The American people are with you wisconsin>>>>>
Yes, definitely Walker has to go; he is not worthy to lead Wisconsin. He is running scared but he has his mega millions coming in for support but the voters must beat the money and thereby Causing Walker to lose his job.
I hate sleazy politicians and Walker heads the list.. Bye bye Scotty and good riddance...
JANE---Thank you---Amen
Here's my prediction for tomorrow night... Polls close, 5 minutes or less the election is called with Walker the winner. 30 seconds later Ed's head explodes on live TV. Now that's an MSNBC moment worth watching.
I hope you have a good recipe for crow.
We'll see in about 22 hours
And after his sorry butt is put to the curb Florida has some gubernatorial trash to clean up.
yes, he has lied since day one, he has alot of skeletons in his closet and he keeps adding them in there, hoping we won't find them. I can't wait for him to be put in jail for his theft and fraud. We need to continue the fight to take WI back from the liars and theives they truly are. Don't be fooled by the signs you see supporting Walker, alot of them are not being put up by actual supports, they are put up by his campaign people and in places where they don not need permission to place them!!!!!!
walker count your minutes. time is up. showoff!! where r your brothers now who helped you rip the citizens off in Wisconsin. and you can't handle a decent campaign taking all your contributions from everywhere else. goodbye and good riddance.
It's strange, all that money pouring into WI to get Walker off the hook. Couldn't that be better used to improve the nation's infrastructure?
Mary--you have said it all. Not only that, if these millionaires and billionaires that are pouring money into Wisconsin for crook Walker and for Romney would give that money to the government to pay down the debt, we'd all say they did something good for a change.
But we know it's all due to personal greed. They want to get people in that will construct policies that will make them even richer. These are NOT good people.
Walker is like Bob McDonnell a poor excuse for a governor...send him packing to the poor house...the one he intended to send wisconsinites to.......
My Husband was a Union men, remove that Walker, more of him and this country is going to be on slave wages, WHITES and Blacks,
scott walker need to be recalled and put in jail and let him play his game in prison.
Texas Dems. are with you Wisconsin..... GOTV !!!!!!!
