Here's Ed's appearance on tonight's PoliticsNation with the Rev. Al Sharpton, discussing the final push in Wisconsin, the night before the recall election of Governor Scott Walker.

It’s been a long road, but Ed’s been there every step of the way. And now, we’re finally here!
For the first time since his surprise attack on the workers/middle class of Wisconsin, Gov. Scott Walker will face the people tomorrow in a recall election.
Ed’s putting together extended coverage tonight, reporting live from ground zero for the middle class in Madison, Wisconsin.
First up: John Nichols, Washington Correspondent of The Nation, and Ruth Conniff, Political Editor of The Progressive Magazine, will discuss the final push.
Then, Republicans say Democrats are trying to cheat their way to victory tomorrow. State senators Lena Taylor (D-WI) and Mark Miller (D-WI) will debate that issue with state Sen. Glenn Grothman (R-WI).
Indeed, the polls are tightening, there are boots on the ground, and Walker’s Democratic challenger, Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett, predicts he will defeat Walker.
Tonight, Barrett and the Democratic candidate for lieutenant governor, Mahlon Mitchell, join Ed live from Milwaukee.
And in the Big Finish, despite getting outspent by outside money, Democrats like the Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr., founder and president of the Rainbow PUSH Coalition, say they will turn out the vote in Wisconsin. The civil rights leader joins Ed live in Madison.
It's going to be a truly extraordinary @EdShow at 8pET on @msnbctv.

Walker beat him like a drum in 2010 and the governor of Wisconsin is in a pretty good position to do the same again. Still, there’s always 2014 to consider, and goodness knows that there’s nobody as credulous as a Wisconsin progressive, so Barrett is actively fundraising off of his ever-so-principled opposition to Walker’s reforms. The Journal-Sentinel excerpted this quote from Barrett’s fundraising email: “By his actions from his first days in office to today, Scott Walker has put special interests ahead of the common interest.”
“Special interests ahead of the common interest.” Well, Brian Bolduc of National Review Online notes something interesting about that: which one of those two best describes Milwaukee residents?
Walker’s other serious opponent, Milwaukee mayor Tom Barrett, has a problem: He used Walker’s reforms to save his city $25 million and thus balance the budget without raising property taxes. Should Barrett prove to be the nominee, Walker can’t wait to use that fact against him.
As well Walker should. Hypocrisy from Democrats is, of course, just something that you just have to learn to expect, like dust or smudges on glass surfaces. But this is pretty special. Barrett, of course, could not have possibly refused to take advantage of the opportunity to repair his city’s budgetary problems; if he had, he’d be the one looking at a recall election right now. But it takes a certain kind of arrogance – willful, stupid arrogance, at that – to call your own constituents a ‘special interest’ and to complain about the fact that Scott Walker apparently twisted your arm and made you not raise their property taxes.

Maybe Barrett can use this against Walker.....it is a well know tape......It is priceless!
Scott Walker still kicking Tom Barrett in several polls:

wow, t-mom. that is priceless. what a couple of skunks.
ow, you still keep repeating yourself. come up with something different.
The truth shall set you free and I'm pounding home the truth. I've found you have to reinforce the facts for them to get through all the Liberal BS.
Ed I just want to thank you no matter how this thing turns out I have enjoyed getting the facts from your show.
Yes, you are doing what the rest of us can't do. Standing up personally for what you think is right.

Check this out to understand the Wisconsin Liberal mindset when it comes to raping the tax payers of that state.
Ed and MSNBC have been stirring this up in an attempt to improve their ratings…only about 20,000 per state…encouraging the State Representatives to leave and remain out of the state…in the Army that's desertion…rather than staying and doing their job…then pushing the recall of Walker…costing the State millions of dollars and further loss of productivity…after tomorrow who is the next target for Ed and MSNBC???
Who's the next target for the brown shirts who want the country run like a military unit. Sorry but the real world and the military world are 2 different places. Just because you think you elect leaders does not mean they are to lead without question. That is why we elect public servants who make laws for all citizens and not just the few who can buy elections and republicans.
Bill - Pushing the recall? Have you been hiding under a mat or something? Walkers agenda was never reveiled until after he was elected. His dishonesty rivals Nixon as in "I am not a crook" Give me a break....Hopefully Ed turns his attention to Etch a sketch Romney....or some other republican obstructionist.
to the people of Wisconsin this is now your time ....you will win...god bless you
MSNBC criticizes Fox for running a 5 minute ad against Obama. Ed just ran a 1 hour ad for Barrett. The most biased show I have ever seen. Seven Democratic politicians against one Republican, who was interrupted by ED seven times and then cut off at the end. Thank God that tomorrow Ed will have to eat his words. I do have to thank Ed for one thing: He is helping Romney with his hateful speech.
Right then outside of Fox fantasy land there lies the real world why don't you open your eyes and see which one is real and which one is made up to service the needs of billionaires.
im a veteran and i think they should put walker out and put a woman in for governer and they should get a leader that has a back bone to be preseadentof our country ty u ed
I hope Scott Walker does win so he can then show his true hand to all these people like, occupy wacko, what he is really made of. Some people can hear the roar of the train coming but still don't have enough sense to get out of its way. And as far as hypocrisy we democrats aren't the ones that go around stealing elections.
Ed - keep in mind that Money tried to buy the governorship of California and we weren't buying it! The ground game, wisdom, and the people can beat big bucks. Good luck Wisconsin!
Wisconsin defeat "Citizen's United" and vote tomorrow.
People can vilify the teachers and other unions but without unions you'd not have:
weekends, overtime, health care, 40 hour weeks, safe work places, fair labor practices, living wages...someone fought for those things, and the influence spread to the private sector. Unions fought - public and private sector jobs benefited. You're letting those benefits get taken away, and smiling while its done.
Walker's supporters creates jobs like Walmart and McD's, hire 2 people at 50% - no benefits, terrible pay. Neither makes a living wage and companies save on benefits. And you get to say you "created" 2 jobs instead of 1.
Put yourself in our shoes. If your boss cut your hours to 50%, cut your pay and benefits and hired someone else to do the other 50% of your job, would you just sit around and say..."well, at least he created jobs"?
Walker (most likely) is under State AND Federal investigation. If he wins, his career will be short anyway.
50% Wisconsinites will fight for the middle class and fair treatment of all workers. 50% will hope none of this affects them or their children - but it will.
What's sad is, even when the stakes are this high, voter turnout will still be under 50% - unacceptable.
Extremism is not the solution, we need level heads and moderation. Walker doesn't seem capable of that type of governing. His record proves it. You can't ignore 50% of your citizens - we need to build consensus.
I know several former attorneys to the WI legislature. All four worked on bill drafting with both Walker and Barrett. Barrett always worked with all while Walker was always his way for the highway. His actions as Gov are not a surprise to any of these 30 plus year state servants.
Walker sounds a lot like Pelosi, doesn't he?
Only in your own delusional paranoid mind rusty.
Only Bill Inman and Occupy wacko will understand this, but here is the heart of the issue. This is not about so-called working people as MSNBC would have you believe. It is about tax payers paying exorbiant taxes to support benefits for public employees that far exceed benefits in the private sector. Additionally, the private sector must be competent, and produce, while the public sector is protected from having to be competent.
This is a slam dunk for Walker, because most of the people know that public employee benefits are sinking state budgets all over the country. Walker wins in a landslide !
Then there is reality. Here is a clue EVERYONE pays taxes not just tea bagging republicans, that is a LIE the GOP told you. It is GOP polices creating these budget short falls in the states trying to compete with China for jobs. To bad for you that you believe the LIE and repeat it like a good parrot instead of thinking for yourself. But then tea bagging republicans are the laziest slobs around so it is hard to think better to let Fox news do your thinking for you.
I have talked to alot of People here and the video with Diane Hendrick's is what changed there mind. they just don't see Walker as a Gov. that are for The People.
.... I'm sure that video "changed" your mind. LOL! By a lot of people, if you mean 23... okay, that's about all that came out to see Ed yesterday.
While i really regret that Scott Walker won the election i am from Virginia and it really did not make any matter to me. I do hope that the people of Wisconsin know that He did what he set out to do. He divided and he conquered. Now just because he took collected bargaining from some and not all and they fell into his lies he will be back for yours
to. Then the people that you did not stand behind will never fight for you when he comes after your collected bargaining. Not to worry he will get you to in the end.
How sad that people voting for the ultra-right are unwilling to understand or accept the fact that the Citizens United case - one of the worst decisions ever handed down by the Supreme Court - has bought the United States of America for about 400 billionaires and corporations (which are NOT people, my friend) to own and play with as they see fit.
The Democratic Party has been successfully eviscerated of its heart and soul by the brothers Koch, Karl Rove, Harold Simmons, Frank VanderSloot, etc.. They can now proceed with their goal of destroying the middle class and let the struggling American poor die off in the name of God and the Flag and Guns. Now, aren't these the values that Jesus preached, and behind whose icon they hide?
The Democrats will never again be able to be competitive with the conservative super-pacs, and the Supreme Court - in keeping with their ability to anoint George Bush President in a stolen election - has effectively obviated the need for elections in the future. Despite all the hopeful rhetoric expounded by progressive talking heads, the light is all but extinguished for fairness and true balance.
The extreme reactionary movement of the tea party, the evangelicals, and the hubris of the Republican senators in filibustering a vote on every single bill that would help restore the economy, assures that workers will remain unemployed until they gain final and supreme control of what used to be The United States of America, and the Republic for which it stood.
RIP
