MIAMI, May 31 (Reuters) - A Florida election law requiring third-party groups to turn in voter registration forms within 48 hours is ``harsh and impractical,'' a federal judge ruled onThursday.
U.S. District Judge Robert Hinkle blocked enforcement of that provision, but left intact most of the election law passed last year by the state's Republican-controlled legislature.
The League of Women voters had challenged the law, which carried a $1,000-a-day fine for failing to meet the time requirement. The group said the requirement was so onerous that it stopped holding voter registration drives in Florida.

Look the reason Florida has a voter ID law is there were county's that had more people vote than live in the county.
1000 people live in county X and the voting booths in that county count 1100 votes...
Yeah, what's wrong with a Democratic county going for Pat Robertson in 2000? Even Robertson didn't believe it.

Which counties? Which elections? If you're going to make a claim, you really should link to documentation to back that claim up. Otherwise, you could just be making things up.

Oh....so we should do things the way they have always been done? isn't that why we got rid of slavery and gave women the right to vote and approved civil rights? Weren't those things that needed to be changed because they were wrong?
Its about time someone in this country stands for something ! A judge who has guts to say no! what a revelation. Enough is enough and taking the vote away from people because you want a fixed election can not , must not defile our constitution and the flag that drapes there caskets and that has been payed in blood to give us our most precious freedom !
I just heard on the news the Russians are suppling arms to Syria. This is no surprize , the Europeans learned decades ago you can"t trust them its a shame we did not do the same. I met a person in Germany ,him and his wife went as mercenaries to former Yougaslavia to help them fight. what did they find? Land mines that were Russian. As far as Iran you can bet Russia is there supply line. Now Puttin is back and the Hammer and sickle is not far behind. Russia should be held accountable for the horrible killings of families and children. There guns were probably used. How soon will it be before they turn the guns on there own people ?
Well what do you know.... something the two of us can agree on. Now which U.S. President was recently caught off camera making a secret deal with the Russian President during a conference where he planned to further reduce our missile defense.... Thank you Obama.

Hey....I have an idea.....how about all the Dems try this - shut the &^%& up or else be creative & do something besides snivel & cry about the nasty old meanies on the other side. If the left does not begin hammering the right in the same relentless manner the 'right' does to the left...the Dems are just going to be beaten bloody again. If the left does not 'cease & desist' in the delusion that 'NOT challenging attacks' & instead 'focusing on our positive message' is more important - you're done!
The Dems have campaigned the same way over & over again & so have the Republicans.... the Republicans however have done a LOT more winning than the Democrats have. Is this not enuff convincing evidence that its time to change tactics AND strategy? If it isn't.?.I'd start watching the History Channel & all those Nuremberg rallies so that you can practice up.
I can't even feel badly for innocent ppl. anymore because my god....how often do you have to be screwed the same way & keep thinking that THIS time.....the wealth is going to finally trickle ON ME!
