I may be wrong, but isn't this one of the reasons why the French Revolution occurred? The haves versus the have nots. Call France - we may be able to get a good deal on guillotines.
YOU SAID IT ALL IN A NUTSHELL !!!!!!!!!!
Don't forget the spikes!!! Beheading's just aren't complete without a spiking.
Lets not forget to "put them to the RACK" along with burning them at the stake in the process.
It will be like the great depression all over again without anyway of recovery. The richest of the rich will be better than OK and the rest of us will be either gone from the country or dead. Just the way the GOP, KKK, and all the White capitalist's want, the country they stole to themselves until it is to used and abused to live here anymore. A total waste land is their goal.
Tammy?? White capitalist's?? Like Herman Cain? Just saying race is one of the teabaggers biggest gun in their arsenal, don't add to it.
We serfs will just submit to the Lords of the manor.
Over my DEAD body,I will put up a firefight with them before I submit to them BASTARDS.
What, in Mitt Romney's past, would lead anyone to believe that he knows anything about the middle class? Romney=Plutocracy
He doesn't know SQUAT about the middle class. He doesn't KNOW what it's like to be in the middle class.
At this point in time the polls show that it is dead heat. Now if you take the upper 5% and 15% of the Tea Part and others that will vote for anyone running against the President totals up to 20%. Now my question is what in the world is the other 30% thinking or are they?
NO, NO, NO!!! People wake up!!! Willard has become a HYPOCRITE AND A TRAITOR to all the Americans under the wealthy's spell. If Willard become president, everyone in the middle and poor class are history, and we cannot survive under this presidency.
Listen to Willard using his speech spots are full of crap!!! The wealthy has found a scapegoat in Willard where he will say anything to make himself look good. Willard is a imitation of "the Donald" where he wants the presidency so bad, he would talk about the birther issue (it's dead and gone) again, and Willard's image is pure of dirt.
As long Willard hang around with the wealthy, Carl Rove, Koch Brothers, Willard is the one percent, who don't give a hoot about no one, except of their own. Willard is a TRAITOR!!!
I was just telling my husband that I didn't think I was going to vote because the rich are ruling this country. They are buying the election. No matter what happens nothing will get done to help the middle class. Obama wants to help but he will be fighting against the Republicans who will filibuster and do everything they can to block anything that will help the poor and middle class. If Romney gets elected, the rich will get all the breaks and the poor and middle class will get nothing but the crumbs that fall off their table.
Vote, don't stay home, vote Democratic in every race, local all the way up the line.
We need to get the Teapublicans out of office for the sake of our nation.
Mittens is trying to buy his way into the office, as patriotic Americans, we must not let this occur.
Staying home is NOT an option.
please please vote and make sure all your fam. and friends do the same . so much depends on this election. our children will thank us!!
The ONLY way I can see you staying home on election day is by using an absentee ballot for voting.Otherwise,it will be people like you who don't think their vote will matter that will ruin this country if they don't get out and VOTE.
It's great to be rich. But that does not give them the right to rule this country. Voters do.
Of course not, but some members of the middle class vote for the Republicans. They voted for Scott Walker in 2010, and now they are complaining. Some members of the middle class always vote against their own interests
Well maybe in Romney's Amercia!
I believe the middle class is too smart to let Romney win. The 1% continues to insult the voters
intelligence thinking that money is the ticket. I plan to take as many people to the polls
as possible. We cannot let them steal this election. Enough of this money nonsense. Let's make
them spend it all and LOSE.
I found it very disturbing that we have american troops fighting in other countries for the same rights that some Congress members are trying to take away from American citizens.... Voting is an important right
Remember that all the money that the Super Pac's are spending is not just to elect Romney. Some will be going to try to elect Republican't Senators and House Rep's. As much as we need Obama in the White House, he also needs a Congress that is going to work with him. I'm a Ind. but I plan on voting a straight Democratic ticket. It is in the middle class best interest if everyone the same.
I feel that you have the right to voice your thoughts,by all types of web sites, but the real concern we all should have is how the Rep is trying to change our voting rights, if we dont stand up and fight for out rights to vote, all of this doesnt matter. so many people lost their live's to give us the right to vote and know there trying to take it way just to win votes. think about how they will change how we communicate by web etc. please let make sure we all get out and vote based on what we believe and how we can grow. GOD BLESS AMERICA
Someone please explain this to me.... If we had Bush's tax policies for 2 terms and created 0 benefit, 0 help to the middle class, and 0 sector jobs...then why continue. With these extreme tax cuts on the wealthy Americans how can we continue to provide food stamps, welfare, military payments, low income housing, or anything else for struggling citizens. Clinton raised tax 4% and in return 24 million jobs were created. This doesnt even make sense
So sad too bad but Walker and Mitt will win
Rmoney will destroy us. Because of his sense on entitlement he thinks he deserves to be elected. He has been handed everything in his life and is being handed the presidency by all the money men that will be pulling his strings. I have yet to see Rmoney stand up to anyone. How can he deal with dictators or any other foreign leader? The answer is he won't. He will be the neo cons puppet just like W. How did that work out for us? I lost my retirement because of their swindling and lack of regulations along with all those tax cuts that Rmoney wants to make bigger for the rich. The poor and middle class will not be getting a tax cut. There won't be any safety nets because they will be the first to go. It's depressing to think about. BTW, what the hell is Holder doing? He needs to get his hands off his dick and stop all this voter suppression. What exactly is he being paid for?
I voted NO, but believe that America, as we know it, will NOT SURVIVE Mitt Romney.
The last time the U.S.A. elected a businessman President on the shoulders of corporate money and power, we elected Herbert Hoover in 1928. No one in America is unaware what happened in 1929: THE STOCK Market crashed. By 1932 the country had entered a Depression.
Hoover was soundly defeated by Roosevelt and the Republican party was repudiated by four consecutive terms of F.D. Roosevelt and a fifth term by Harry Truman. Not until Dwight D Eisenhower returned from defeating Germany in Europe and ran as a moderate Republican against an ultra liberal Adlai Stevenson, a Democratic compromise candidate, did the Republican party regain power...
Roosevelt created Social Security, the TVA (Tennessee Valley Authority) the WPA (Boulder Dam and tens of thousands of similar work projects) and guided America through the majority of its fighting in WWII...Roosevelt SAVED America from the despoilers of the Roaring 20's: Corporate America...
Here (below) is a fairly brief description of how REPUBLICAN greed drove America into Depression via the election of a BUSINESSMAN: Herbert Hoover= Mitt Romney!
This came to me in an email from a friend without an author credit: It is therefore an anonymous artifact
"History of how Republicans led us into the Great Depression
1920's (Decade)
Organized labor declines throughout the decade. The United Mine Workers
Union will see its membership fall from 500,000 in 1920 to 75,000 in 1928.
The American Federation of Labor would fall from 5.1 million in 1920 to 3.4
million in 1929.
Over the decade, about 1,200 mergers will swallow up more than 6,000
previously independent companies; by 1929, only 200 corporations will
control over half of all American industry.
By the end of the decade, the bottom 80 percent of all income-earners will
be removed from the tax rolls completely. Taxes on the rich will fall
throughout the decade.
By 1929, the richest 1 percent will own 40 percent of the nation's wealth.
The bottom 93 percent will have experienced a 4 percent decline in real
disposable per-capita income between 1923 and 1929.
The middle class comprises only 15 to 20 percent of all Americans.
Individual worker productivity rises an astonishing 43 percent from 1919 to
1929. But the rewards are being funneled to the top: the number of people
reporting half-million dollar incomes grows from 156 to 1,489 between 1920
and 1929, a phenomenal rise compared to other decades. But that is still
less than 1 percent of all income-earners.
TIMELINES OF THE GREAT DEPRESSION
http://www.huppi.com/kangaroo/Timeline.htm
After World War II America had debt 120% of GDP and raised the top tax rate
to 90% from 1942 to 1960, then 70% from 1960 to 1980.
During that time of top tax rates above 70% America had the Greatest Middle
Class and Infrastructure Prosperity in history.
The Greatest Generation didn't fall for the Republican Austerity Lies,
neither should we.
The Bush Tax cuts (400 billion a year) and the interest on the resulting
Republican debt (200 billion a year) together could pay for Medicare.
Medicare isn't the problem. Medicare is National Defense in today's modern
world. Medicare is a Life Saver for Millions!
Republican economics are the problem!
The Reagan Top Rate tax cuts (70% to now 35%) = 4 trillion over 10 years,
12 trillion over 30 years while the Middle Class declined and our prison
population increased 6 fold costing 2.4 trillion for counter-productive
drug wars.
Republicans don't hate Big Government, Republicans hate Good Government!
Average Tariff rates 1945 to 1970 were 6%, 1975 to 1995 were 3%, 2000 to
now 1.3%.
Manufacturing as a percentage of the US economy in 1965 was 53%, in 1988
was 39%, in 2004 was 9%.
Just imagine if we would have taken Mitt Romney's advice and let GM and
Chrysler fail in 2008?
The US Trade deficit with China is 250 billion a year. China has an average
tariff rate of 25%, good for their economy, eh?
The US trade deficit in oil is now 250 billion a year. We import twice as
much of our oil needs than when Ronald Reagan cut the top tax rate in half
in 1980.
America spent over 4 trillion dollars on oil during the Bush Years.
Since 1980, America's Middle Class has been in decline, America's prison
population has increased by 6 fold costing 2.4 trillion for counter-
productive drug wars, America is more dependent on foreign oil due to no
energy policy, dependent on foreign manufacturing due to tariff cuts, and
dependent on foreign debt due to tax cuts.
To Rebuild the American Middle Class Dream WE MUST REPEAL the Republican
Tax Cut Scheme!"

There is no question in my mind that we are NOW faced with a REPEAT of identical circumstances to those that ultimately elected Herbert Hoover and directly led to The Great Depression.
BUT WE CAN LEARN FROM HISTORY and avert the disaster.
V O T E & volunteer. Drive the Republican fascists into oblivion. Losing is not an option.
We MUST NOT LOSE AMERICA to Fascism.

Let's Roll-
Wow ! This is truly awesome information. Thank you for the time you spent posting this Robert McCalister !!

Please read it and give Robert your vote of support for all of his hard work!
It's a damm shame when the republicans have to spend this type of money to steal an election...they can't win on their own merits...America is doomed and the republicans are going to steal this election come hell or high water...all I can say is start putting your money under your mattress and stock up on canned goods and bottled water...we're gonna need it. I see the destruction of 12/21/2012 coming and it's shortly after the election. The Mayans were on to something. Why else are astronauts taking food and supplies up to the International Space Station...do they (repubs) plan to live there soon? Is that their getaway place?...I hope they have fun living up in space all by themselves...eventually the republicans will be eating their own. This is getting serious people, republican voters need to wake up and look past President Obama's skin color and get on the bandwagon with the democrats, the republicans lives are at stake as well.
Mitt Romney wants to take our Country back to this point. Check it out.
Phil, let's start with the meltdown and the causes. What did you guys find to be
the basic causes of the meltdown?
Well, at the heart of this crisis
were really the twin factors of recklessness
on Wall Street -- unbridled,
reckless actions -- coupled with abject regulatory
neglect in Washington,
this brew of a private, financial sector run amok without
the kind of
guardians of the public interest on the watch, protecting our
economy,
protecting our financial system. And I think when you look at what
happened,
what's most striking is the extent to which this was an avoidable
crisis.
You know, there has been a whole school of rhetoric coming out of this
crisis
that it was the perfect storm, that this could not have been
anticipated, that
there were such large forces that collided that no human
being could have
foreseen the magnitude of what happened to our financial
system and to our
country. But when you look at the facts, what you will see
is you will see a
building over 30 years of a deregulatory mind-set in which
the belief became
embedded in intellectual circles and the financial circles
that the financial
masters on Wall Street had learned to control risk, that
there was an
intersection of their interest in self-preservation with the
protection of the
public interest, and there was a real belief in the light
hand of regulation.
But in the early 2000s you see the emergence of lots
of warning signs, red
flags, flashing red and yellow lights along the way:
the unsustainable rise in
housing prices; the reports of egregious and
predatory lending practices that
were cropping up all over this country,
starting in places like Cleveland and
then spreading to the "sand states"
[Arizona, California, Florida and Nevada].
What you see is, as early as
2004, the FBI is warning about an epidemic of
mortgage fraud that, if left
unchecked, could leave us with losses as big as the
savings and loan crisis.
You see the growing risk being taken by the big
financial houses on Wall
Street. Take, for example, Goldman Sachs. In 1997, I
think they make about
39 percent or so, or in the high 30s of their revenue
comes from what they
call principal and trading, principal investment and
trading.
By
2007 that has risen to about 79 percent, essentially making money just by
trading on the marketplace. And of course you had that small matter of the
doubling of mortgage debt in this country and the creation of $13 trillion
of
mortgage securities. All of that occurred as regulators either turned a
blind
eye or didn't have a real sense of the risks that were embedded in
this system
that had grown in the last two to three
decades.
