Well Ed has it wrong on the conspiracy to destroy the middle class. A conspiracy is something secretive and hidden behind the scenes there is conspiracy. The GOP is hiding anything they are not denying what their goals are. It's not a dog whistle for their drones anymore everyone can hear it.
Fox and Friends is a comedy show I don't know why everyone is taking so seriously. I watch to get a good laugh. Now why is it a comedy you ask? Well the comedy is these three stooges don't realize what they say is so laughable. Fox is a republican channel fairly balanced to one side just like MSNBC difference is MSNBC doesn't claim otherwise.

On federal investigations right wing terror seems ot have struck again at an apparent arson of a new orleans women's resources clinic. The group helps educate and reach out to women in difficult circumstances and had their offices attacked. While the investigation isn't complete but nine times out of ten these types of things are politically motivated. Where is the coverage on that? Right wing ideological terror is more of threat to this country than home grown islamic terror. These things are happening all over the country but this network is too busy Romney covering Mitt's latest sneeze or whatever to shine a light on it.

CC...it is not the role of government to decide how much money a CEO or any other office in a corporations should be paid. the shareholders have the ability to regulate pay without government intervention..all they have to do is vote on it at the annual stockholders meeting.

CC...Shareholders have the right to be at every stockholder meeting as long as they behave in an orderly manner. I am not aware of the particular instance of which you speak and would like more details or links on exactly what happened.
Government does not need to become anymore involved in the process of how a company compensates its CEO's and other employees. right now, as I understand it, one share of stock equals one vote. Plain and simple. If the shareholders have enough votes, they can determine the compensation. Government does not need to do anything to "give shareholders more legal rights to control CEO and other executive officers pay".

I mean, its not like the Democrats did the same thing in 2008 after the primaries were over and Obama was deemed to be the chosen one.
In the democratic primary people had strong feeling on who they wanted to be the nominee in the republican primary people didn't want any of those people to be the nominee. The democratic primary was who they liked more this last one was who they hated less.

People often equate the democratic primary in the last election talking about the intensity or length as being identical to the current primary and that is not the case. In '08 the party had troubles because they had such strong positive feelings about the contenders and this is not the case with the GOP primary we just saw.
In '08 the democratics would have been excited to have any of the contenders when much so that they could not decide who they loved most. In the GOP primary the GOP folks didn't want to pick any of the potentials. So it is different on side they would have been happy no matter who the nominee was while on the right the only that would really make them happy would be to have none of them.

In the town I live in, I tried to open a grocery store because the residents hav to travel 23 miles for groceries. I was told, I'm not allowed to open a store. I ran for Mayor, and lost to a fixed election. I tried to start a program for the kids and was stopped. Why? One lady came right up in my face and told me it's because I am not considered white enough and I should go back to Mexico where I belong. Trouble with that is my Hispanic heritage is from Puerto Rico and I was born in Brooklyn, NY. People, I don't want to have to look over my shoulder or be profiled by the police. I want the same chance every Republican has and if we let these Corporate elitists buy this election, we deserve everything that comes down the pike afterwards. I am calling out to every Democrat to stand up to this travesty. Stand up and get out there and voice your opposition to this blatant attempt by Republicans to take away everything our forefathers have fought for. Our civil rights are at risk, here.
