Well dead people do vote if they do early voting or mail in voting then die before the election, but that is not fraud that is life, you never know when you are going to die.

Nope. What's the issue here is that hundreds of people who allegedlly aren't citizens are clearly definitely citizens with long standing government documents to prove it. So the fact that there seem to be all these cases shows this thing no matter what its intentions is going to be a fiasco. You wish to argue it is a small number of people or something but that doesn't matter. These people who are accused of not being citizens no matter what must prove otherwise or they can not vote. Whether these individuals are citizens or not if they don't respond in two weeks they can not vote. If this was not part of the provision it could be in better legal shape but if someone is a citizen they don't have to prove that to keep their voting rights. Florida can not deny citizens the right to vote so even if they don't repsond and are citizens FL can not stop them from voting based on this fact.
The right to vote can not be taken away from any citizens no matter what. One may argue that if they just responded everything would be alright, except it wouldn't.......the very idea of denying voter rights is flawed enough
If I'm a WI voter and I get taken off the elligibility list because of whatever reason unless they will make not responding some sort of felony than the state can't stop me from voting for any reason. If one is registred and then involuntarily unregistered for no valid points then they have taken a person's vote away
You are more likely to see a shark attack in FL than voter fraud. Furthermore in true baffoon style Governor Voldemort Scott has his people working on a listing from the DMV. The suspicions around folks citizenship is how long ago they updated their DMV records that's why we are seeing so many including veterans targetted so that's the "evidence" they are working from.
Indeed they can clear things up and I am willing to believe a few of the people on the list should be there. Having said that the problem is they are not checking they have already assumed the people are not citizens so if they don't respond citizen or not they can't vote. It's like the "terrorist flight watch" list people from back in the day. Remember how there were children on the list and actual terrorists figured out how to get past it.
The list compiling this time is equally incompetent. Again if the state wasn't assuming people were guilty there'd be no problem. The state can and should not allow illegals to vote and investigate each one of these people to see whether or not the suspicions are warranted what's happening is people are claiming they are not citizens before having any real evidence to support that. They are not out to seek and find out they are about purging voters. If in two weeks anyone doesn't write back they can not vote even if they are really americans. If this was about investigation and learning we would not see such a short timeline

My question for all these governors is if the elections are so corrupted by illegal voters then that would have been a trend developing for sometime not something happening one year and disappearing the next right? So most of these guys were voted in around 2010 only a couple years ago....how do we know they didn't steal the vote to get elected? We didn't have these new laws then so I suppose that election tainted as well.....so how they didn't cheat?

I agree that if one person who is a citizen is denied the right to vote it is a problem, the issue is that the Democrats do not agree that if one person who is not a citizen is given the right to vote that is just as much of a problem.

If it were true why do people register to vote and receive voter registration cards in the first place? Fact is you already have to show you're a legal voter to vote. You can do this with your registration or a bill and sign an affidavit, that's the way it's been for some time and reputable data exists to show that's not a good system or that there's so much fraud. What you're for is having to showing these forms in addition to forms you've never had to show before. You will bring up buying a beer, well guess what like voting you have to show an id to get that. What your for in that analogy would be having to show a library and another id because fake id's allow minor to buy alcohol. Crazy right since of course there is some fraud but the vast majority is not.
CC...it is not false. It can happen. If you know the name and address of a registered voter in ANY precinct in the US where they do not require ID, you can walk right up and get their ballot.
Also, interesting to note that the family in NC that was the "victim" of the voter fraud video did say that they were upset at Okeefe for having picked their father to be the person impersonated, but they were equally mad at the polling place workers who did not check ID of the person who was impersonating their father.

DNC Chairwoman, Debbie Wasserman Schultz is going to WI to rally the voters. I hope it works. I can't believe how many people have NEVER voted and have no interest in voting for anything or anyone now. I imagine WI is pretty fired up, but here in Iowa we have a lot of apathetic people willing to go with whoever gets voted in. It's tragic that they don't realize what can happen if the wrong people get in. They should have a good idea from 2010 and the Tea Party, if they've even been paying attention.

Mike Ertel, a Florida Seminole county Supervisor of Elections, did not say if the new voter regs were wrong. Maybe could be done better. Still, he says he is mandated by law to process these extraordinary requirements. What about the first Bush2 election recount. Wasn't that a mandated process that was stopped by force when a group of pro-Bush supporter came right through the doors to purposely disrupt the recount? Both times involving election officials and both times to prevent what is by all measures voters who typically vote Democrat.
I keep thinking that this is another end run using the P.T.
