Here's the difference between Republicans and Democrats, we will not try to defeat that president by destroying our country. First, they held raising the debt ceiling by destroying our AAA credit rating, they have done NOTHING but try to stop job growth, they want to gut medicare, even when the majority of voters DO NOT WANT MEDICARE TOUCHED. You want to change the public schools to charter schools just so Republicans can make more money on charters and the middle class and poor families will suffer. Under our President, there has been job growth despite the Republicans who won't show any bipartisan compromises. The Dow market had dropped from 1100 points to almost 8000 points before the president took office. Many of us saw our pension investments sink like a rock. Then to make matters worse, the Republicans spent months trying to destroy our AAA credit rating. Yes, in the end they did back down, but not before the world saw what kind of hypocrites our politicians are. They lost confidence and even though we did not default on our debt, they did not trust us and the Dow dropped to 6000 points. People were upside down on their mortgages, they were losing their jobs, they were being threatened with changing medicare and privatizing social security. They were doing all that they could to bust unions, etc. Under Obama the stock market is higher than when Bush was in office. There has been steady job growth under Obama, unemployment is dropping, and people are seeing that the only people Republican politicians care about are themselves and their wealthy buddies. The hell with everyone else. So the Republicans started a new strategy, attack the President on foreign policy. Well, that backfired big time. Obama was able to do what Bush couldn't, he got Bin Laden, helped Egypt take their country back and also protected Syria without putting boots on the ground. Now all these idiots have left is a flip flopping rich guy who destroyed companies that he became in charge of, sucked out all of the profits, stole the pension plans and health care of the workers and took his greedy profits and hid them in 9 different countries hoping we would never find out what he did. However, when you run for president, everything comes out. Funny, the only thing Republicans have left is to start up the stupid birther issue that was settled last year when Obama provided his long form birth certificate from the state of Hawaii. I call that desperate. They also are shooting themselves in the foot by waging a war on women's health care, equal pay, birth control, etc. They don't stop there, they demean Latinos and other minorities every chance they get. As I have said before "birther's are racist". The FBI, the Secret Service, local law enforcement and the other national agencies carefully check out every person who runs for president. The background checks are thorough and meticulous. Anyone who thinks for a second that these background checks are anything other than thorough, really is not very well informed about the process of getting to the presidency. The national parties also thoroughly vet their candidates although mistakes do happen. "Birthers" are racist people who hate a black man with a nice wife and wonderful family being in charge of our country. "Birthers" are sick immoral and ignorant and intolerant people. Its time Democrats start calling birthers and the GOP party of the John Birch Society rather than regular American society.
