All Romney wants is to complete his riches with the keys to the whitehouse. His father didn't get it and he wants it so bad that he can taste it! He wants to extend the Bush Tax cuts on the backs of Seniors and all other entitlement programs. The President's attorneys have to fight those fools in Arizona about a birth certificate, the catholic satanic priests about the birth control, and on and on!!!! The Supreme Court can't answer them before they respond to the voter suppression issue. They will hear the catholic issue after the president has been in office after two years.Lol Obama 2012!!! The people who were part of the 4% voting in the polls need to stick their heads in the toilet!!! They know Romney cares more about profit then people! They tune in every night to make sure the polls are not 100%!
Let's not be so defensive about Mr. Booker's comments. The President's answer reminds me of the primaries in 1984 when Gary Hart tried to explain where the "beef" was. Don't you get it? We are doing exactly where the Republicans want. I'd dump Booker from the campaign and refer everyone to Wikipedia on the subject of venture capital. The bottom line is not employees but profits. We cannot say that enough.
People create or invest in businesses to make money job creation is a byproduct of doing so

Totally agree, I don't think most people on here understand how business works. Businesses are in the "Business" to make a profit, when profits increase then growth increases which creates more jobs. I get the feeling that some people think making a profit is a bad thing. If you owned your own business you would be watching that bottom line everyday to see if you made a profit.

The key word is ability. If your parties policies worked we would be swimming in jobs. Bet you are also pompous enough to think everyone else is envious of the wealthy. No everyone else just wants a level playing field. The rich are not "job creators". If the middle class can't buy any of your crap then no matter how wealthy you are, you won't be creating any jobs. It's a two way street.

there needs to be a middle ground between selling your product as cheap as you can but enough to make profit to be able to expand and create more jobs the market will dictate what is enough of a profit but not so much that no one will by that product
If you sell your product at a profit just enough to be able to make pay role and keep the door open you will never expand and create more jobs

I see we agree on something. Plenty of people on the left who understand capitalism very well. We just don't distort it.
I think we need to look at each cadidates past performance in creating jobs for all, and building the economy before we make a decision research your candidate and what he has done for his state.

Now if obama gives money to that business as in lowering their taxes then that company has more money to hire someone there for it gives that person a paycheck which then they can spend it at your business and then that business made some money

OK Rachael, I agree with the Obama campaign to use Bain capitol as an issue. And Booker's comments may have "added a little grit in the gears" of that campaign issue. But a blunder like this is not enough to throw one of us under the bus. Let the republicans tare each other apart, let's not do the same to ourselves.
Veiwer1---I would never do that---Booker has been in politics for over 10 years. he knew what he was doing. he tried to throw the President under the bus. So in my opinion, just mine now---Cory Booker- if I can borrow a line from Vice President Joe Biden---is not one of us. He just don't get it. This Man is on a Romney campaign ad now, and Foxx has made him out to be their biggest hero. There are always some that get away. Booker did this to himself.

I sort of equate it with Bill Maher's statement shortly after the September 11 attacks. He agreed with his guest, conservative pundit Dinesh D'Souza, that the 9/11 terrorists did not act in a cowardly manner (in rebuttal to President Bush's statement calling 9/11 hijackers cowards). Profits is the answer the poll is looking for, but what Romney wants is prestige, power and a historical place his father could not achieve.

I am still trying to figure out how so many people (i.e. Republicans) can be so blind to facts, or are they all just mean people? Grandson just turned 18 and I'm going to make sure he understands politics.

Grover Norquist and his group should be listed as an enemy of the state because they are so unreasonable, they will not even discuss going to the 39% rate as during the Clinton administration.
