Storm....President Obama went to a Church of Christ that had over 8,000 members. Rev. Wright preached Christ as savior. His church did and does outreach to the poor, etc.

Dem...if you benefitted from the reduced tax rates that put us into the hole we are in, why should you not have to pay higher rates to get us out?

The lower tax rates have cost us approx $1.4 trillion over the last 10 years. Obama is running a $1.4 trillion dollar deficit annually. It sure seems like there is a bigger problem than just the lower tax rates.

Harry Reid has admitted that the "Gentleman's agreement" was not upheld by any republican gentleman. (There aren't any in my opinion) So he has learned the hard way that, yes, the filibuster rule must be changed. Not one middle class person has benefited from the lower tax rate other than to be able to maintain. Everything costs so much more now than 3 years ago! Due to the high gas prices! No more oil men in office ever again.

We are in a hole because of the unpaid Iraqi War and tax cuts, combined. Raise taxes on the wealthiest - they have benefited the most by the skewed tax rates/loop holes, and the war has ended in Iraq- promise kept by President Obama.

We are also sending a lot of money to Pakistan for the War on Terror, or is it to keep the contractors in America getting government money? All of this privatization crap is just a ruse to get government money for themselves. Anyway......
