Presidential candidate Mitt Romney has tried to distance himself from an explosive $10 million ad campaign that refers to President Obama as the 'metrosexual black Abe Lincoln.' NBC's Peter Alexander reports.
Right-wingers are losing on the issues, so they're once again resorting to the race card to attack President Obama.
Tonight, an ugly plan by a Republican PAC to (once again) use The Rev. Jeremiah Wright to blow the winds of racial fear and smears towards President Obama is exposed by The New York Times.
And Mitt Romney doesn't remember contributing to the climate of racism that simmers below the surface in the Republican Party.
Ben LaBolt, Obama 2012 National Press Secretary, will respond to the latest developments. And, Sam Stein, Huffington Post political editor, and Richard Wolffe, MSNBC Political Analyst, will weigh in on the GOP's desperate tactics.
Nobel Prize winning economist and New York Times columnist Paul Krugman says we can end our economic crisis now. But Romney is not going to like what he has to say to Ed tonight.
Problems are piling up for J.P. Morgan and Romney thinks it's no big deal. Democratic Massachusetts Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren has some harsh words for the bank on tonight’s show.
Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin is leaving the U.S. behind to avoid paying millions in taxes. Now some lawmakers are trying to keep him from setting foot on American soil ever again.
And in the Big Finish, Karl Rove weighs in on the Wisconsin recall, while Gov. Scott Walker cooks the books on his jobs numbers. Walker’s Democratic challenger, Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett, will respond.

A heavy duty line-up of guests. Should be a great show!
Bunch of leftwingnut hacks with no clue.
It is definitely sad and despicable that racism is still running rampant in America, and it is a shame. We are better than this America !!
Apparently not.
Isn't the Mormon church considered a cult, and doesn't Mitt hold two priesthood's in the church. Cant trust a man with a fork tongue.
Mitt is starting to remind me of Sarah Palin. lol!
I'd be fine with going back to the post-Great Depression banking regulations. They were put in place to prevent another financial crisis of epic proportions. Once stripped away we had another financial crisis of epic proportions. So much for learning from history.
I am so thankful to now live in Massachusetts. I've been to E Warren's early debate, went to a delegate vote meeting and have been able to caucus for her.
Go Elizabeth!!
Tax-u-chusetts..
When it is all said and done, Warren will be down cellar were she belongs.
Her TV ad talking about he roads and schools they built with their tax dollars is the reason you need to tax to death the company in your town.
Try that pitch in the town of Athol, bet those workers at L S Starrett be glad to set her straight.
Yawn. Elizabeth "Cherokee Princess" Warren, enrolled member in the Plastic White Wannabee Tribe. The Ward Churchill of Harvard University.
If she wants to be taken seriously, and not some white fraud who just asserts Native identity to game the system, get student aid, and an affirmative action hire, she needs to either: 1. Enroll in the tribe she claims, 2. Get a BIA card, or 3. Post her evidence she has a legitimate Native heritage.
Until then, she's just another greedy White liar.
She is a waste of space. Go back to teaching you ding bat.
apparently being 1/32 cherokee is ENOUGH to receive benefit of some kind, for schooling or whatever. i don't know of anyone, democratic or repub, who would turn down the advantage of being part cherokee, unless maybe they were filthy rich.
this is dirty politics on the part of scott brown.
I have one friend who is 1/4 blood Cherokee (CNoO), who never used that to get any advantage, in college or in work. He wanted to succeed on his own merits as an individual, and he did. Got an Engineering degree and a great job, and never told anyone he was Cherokee [he's not enrolled, but could be if he filled out the paperwork]. Looks like Princess Warren didn't have that kind of integrity.
Of course we don't in fact know that she has even 1/32nd Cherokee blood. If that g-g-g-grandmother was even on the Cherokee rolls, it still leaves open the question of whether or not she was full-blood or half-blood. If the latter, Princess Warren is 1/64th Cherokee, and not eligible to call herself Native.
She needs to apologize and get on with her whitebread life.
ang,
WHY DO YOU CARE?
we all know people who are like your friend. why would Warren lie about being 1/32 cherokee? if she did get benefit (why do you care) she would have to prove she is what she says she is. you can't just walkn in and say, "i'm 1/32 part cherokee, so give me my due".
you act like democrats are the only ones taking advantage of the "system". please try to find some repubs. you all talk about "individual responsibility", but there are plenty of repubs who talk about individual responsibility who are hypocritically doing (and have done) the same thing as Warren.
you all are so big on "did Warren break the law"?. what she did was "legal", so that should make you happy.
many times that's the only standard that you all care about, "was the law broken"?
GET OVER IT.
You appear totally clueless about what it means to be Native, and how deeply important it is to us. Try reading Vine Deloria's Custer Died for Your Sins. Then come back and we can talk some more.
Every time Romney finishes saying something, I keep waiting for the voice over... "Live, from New York, it's Saturday Night!"
"I can't remember what I said, but I stand behind it!" This is pure classic Saturday Night Live at its best. Oh Mitt, you poor thing...I'm almost starting to feel sorry for you! (Chuckle, chuckle, laugh, laugh!) You haven't got a clue, do you...not a single clue!
