Birtherism is alive and well.
At a fundraiser this week, Colorado Representative Mike Coffman told supporters "I don't know whether Barack Obama was born in the United States of America. I don't know that. But I do know this, that in his heart, he's not an American. He's just not an American."
Coffman has since retracted his statement saying he “misspoke.”
Now the folks over at Breitbart.com are at it again. They say they’ve obtained a 1991 promotional booklet that “touts Obama as born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii.”
According to the site they have obtained 1991 documents used to promote Obama’s first book “Journeys in Black and White,” The documents include a bio that reads “Barack Obama, the first African-American president of the Harvard Law Review, was born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii.”
Barack Obama released his long form birth certificate in April last year after intense scrutiny from some on the right, including Donald Trump. Some are apparently still unconvinced.
Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio launched his own investigation declaring the birth certificate a “forgery.” Missouri Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler (R) told supporters she had “a lot of doubts about” Obama’s birth certificate at a recent town hall. Congressman Cliff Stearns (R) of Florida wondered if the certificate was even “legitimate,” at a town hall in February.
For some reason some on the right have a hard time accepting that Barack Obama was born in the United States. It seems like Birtherism will never die.

If all the birthers had actually been present at Obama's birth, they still wouldn't accept it, because he does not look like them. (He looks better) IMO. So your going to say the administration brings in race when they have not done that once but you find the impuning of this president's religion, loyalty and citizenship are not to do with race. What you need to do is not assume people are bringing up race to answer everything, no one does that right or left that's pure politics, but there have been plays on race batting from the right. Why else would they need to try and show Obama hates white people like his own mother, and yes right wingers have in fact tried to do that watch Hannity any given night, so why?
Why questions on citizenship, when the hell did that actually matter last I checked that was part of the boring beaucratic registration process and was never even thought to be an issue? We all know what documents people have to show and and unless told otherswise no one with half a brain ever assumes they've been hidden or not submitted because it is such a routine part of campaigning.

The statement that he was born in Kenya was used until 2007 on that company's website. I don't think it means he actually was but it seems to me the issue would have been caught before 15 years passed. Many of you just bash these birther people but the reality is Obama has stoked the fire with some inconsistencies. This is America, we should be able to question inconsistencies.
How many times do you want someone checked? By how many sources? CIA, FBI and Secret Service checks don't seem to be enough for you. A birth certificate doesn't matter to you. In other words nothing will convince you. Give it a rest. Or better yet, put your name in to run for president and see how much you and everybody you know or have ever known is checked. It will happen again when you get the nomination. Only then the DNC and RNC will also be checking. Try it.
I personally don't think he was born anywhere else but the way he has dodged and avoided these things is stupid. Just put an end to it and not with a image on a website. We can't see his transcripts from college...no other President has kept that top secret. Maybe he used the illusion he was foreign to get some leg up in college...I don't know. It's stuff like that though when taken in an overall picture that make people suspect. Especially since he's been a rather crappy President anyway.

What they do is use a question as a statement. That way, they don't need any proof. They just keep asking the question as innuendo to make him look bad.
A good President? Please. Every economic metric is worse. Unemployment, GDP, Debt (lots worse), Deficit, energy prices...we could go on. I don't believe in a contract extension for a failed President and I don't think he'll get one.
As for inconsistencies...yes there are many but more importantly if you were the target of those "rumors" or whatever. Wouldn't you want to get that out of the way and dismiss them? At this point he's really polling badly and this isn't going to help. Which is fine by me because we need someone else in there. He wasn't even close to prepared.

Grades are often released but most presidents in fact have not, it makes no difference at all it's politics. It is a minute concern.

This bio shows that Obama himself is the source of the birther confusion. He WANTED people to believe he was born in Kenya when it benefitted him. He pretended to be a 'foreigner' in order to profit himself (think college admissions, financial aid, etc.), then 'took it back' when going after the presidency.

I do not believe Obama was born in Kenya,I do believe he led (lied) the Harvard law review to believe he was born in Kenya to receive affirmative action favoritism like Pocohantas Warren. This might explain why his college transcripts have not been released. This does prove he does lie .
