No way did Obama take the prudent and legal course of action concerning the GM and Chrysler suggested by Romney. Romney like most Americans did not want a Government bailout, he specifically wanted the companies to follow Bankruptcy procedures that have worked in the private sector for over 100 years. Obama gave billions of tax payer dollars to the companies and then pursued bankruptcy. We as a Nation would have been much better off if GM and Chrysler would have simply gone into Bankruptcy right off the bat without the Tax Payer Pay Off. Romney was right, Obama was wrong and we the Tax Payer paid for it. The Tax Payers are still on the hook and now GM is sending hundreds of millions overseas. How can any one outside the Unions think this was a good idea.
Then there is reality. Funny how it was a ok for GWB to give the banks a secret 7.7 trillion dollar bailout. But it is not legal to bailout a business even though it is the right of every citizen to petition the government for a bailout. One of those pesky things in the bill of rights that tea bagging republicans over look in cherry picking for things in US law to whine about.

You can call it greed if you want, but that's how it works, and if they can't get it to work here, they'll take it somewhere else. And with it go the jobs.
The shareholders expect and demand profit. If investors don't see returns from their holdings, they dump the stock and the company goes belly up.
