Senator Rob Portman of Ohio is rumored to be on Mitt Romney's vice presidential short list.
Wonder if this performance on CNBC earlier today, will up the ante:

Sarah Palin, Mark Foley, Dick Cheney. JonEnsign, Joe Walsh, Allen West, Michelle Bachmann, Newt Gingrich, Sharon Angle, Christine O'donnell, Joe Miller, Carl Palidino
Hey stupidity,
At least those poor excuses for Democrats out of the picture. Why is David Vitter still there?
Don't make no difference because the veep will either be Joe or Hillary......cause willard will not be elected.
I've been saying all along that it will be Portman. Mitt needs him to win Ohio. I hope it fails if he does go with him. Ohio is somewhat critical, as is PA and Fl. I don't think he'll take PA so he knows he'll need Ohio.
John in Texas, you just made my day , that is great, still laughing. And we haven't had much to laugh about here in WI. lately!
I think chaney would be great, now that he has a new heart, they can't say he is heartless anymore.
But anyone would be an improvement over Biden. Unless you have a late night comedy show.
@slackwarerobert
Have you really listened to the GOP candidates this year? None of them is an improvement over anything.
Yea, Ron Paul was great, but the GOP is afraid to have someone with morals and convictions lead the country. Don't know which they feared more, his refusal to kill our troops without a declaration of war, or that he would actually fight a war if it was declared. Either way this sitting duck policy by both sides would end.
But the heading is the VP ticket, not the top spot.
I do listen to biden, and you can't get lower than that on the evolutionary scale, dark ages peasants had more insight than him.
I'll listen when they actually pick someone to listen to. Why waste time listening to ohh, he would be good, oh my that would help get the idiot vote. No thanks I'll wait.
On the plus side the Libertarians have picked a great man this time around. Gary Johnson, so I need to start checking out the vp James Gray. California judge could be a bummer, nothing form that state is worth even OWS taking a dump on.
lord help us all if we do not vote out the repukes from office
the right wings next trick is to show ya how to make love to that chicken
Sick.
Nah Beth chicken love isn't perverted enough for the GOP, the GOP prefer hookers, young guys under 18 and the dirty floors of mens rooms at airports for their dirty deeds.
Cynical Citizen you forgot Joe Wilson, Vitter, moon boy Newt, Paul Ryan, Rience Priebus, and on and on. Crazy clowns!
At least Newt marries his mistrisses, can't say the same for kennedy, clinton, edwards, Lets also not forget over the pond, prince charles. IT appears to be global for perverts to be in charge. I would have loved to have Larry Flynt been gov of california. Should have used the "chicken in every pair of pants" slogan.
Can we not agree that both parties in washington are perverts, and they all need to be locked up in jail.
