Yes, boehner should be useing the money to impeach holder, the justice department doesn't get to decide if a law is unconstitutional. They can challenge a law in court, and get it declared unconstitutional. But it is the courts job, not theirs.
There is no cost, holder is getting paid, judges are getting paid. There is no cost, to challenge a law in court by the government.

Sandie, I don't know any Fire or Police that do not have health care insurance paid for by their employers. Why would additional money be needed to provide health care for public sector employees that already have health care coverage. Also they were covered by Workman's Compensation, they were working at the time of their injury, were they not. The additional compensation was a scam.
As for Federal worker pay are you kidding? 20% of Federal Employees make more than 100K a year. All Federal Employees get Health Care Insurance, Life Insurance, and a pension, all of which significantly exceed benefits received in the private sector. 22% of 2012 Federal expenditures went to pay retired Federal Employee pensions and benefits.
Come to Texas 2EZ, you'll find 100,000 firefighters that DO NOT have their health insurance paid for. After all, we are a 'right to work for less' state. See ya at the polls !
Wow, Tex. That is something. Could you list the cities in Texas that employ firemen and do not provide benefits? I googled it and couldn't find any- but since you brought it up- there must be. Is it Dallas? Houston? Laredo?
Rusty I know you're a very confused individual so I'll explain it to you. Major cities DO offer health insurance to Firefighters, only because they have to have the best people they can get but is it a state law? HELL NO. Now a question for you rusty, how many cities and towns are there in Texas? It's a big state so think carefully! Then do more research and find out if the hundreds of smaller ones offer the same benefits as the metropolitan areas. Maybe this will save you some time..
'Texas Cuts fire department funds by 75%
Under Gov. Rick Perry (R) this year, Texas slashed state funding for the volunteer fire departments that protect most of the state from wildfires like the ones that have recently destroyed more than 700 homes.
Volunteer departments that were already facing financial strain were slated to have their funding cut from $30 million to $7 million, according to KVUE.
The majority of Texas is protected by volunteer fire departments. There are 879 volunteer fire departments in Texas and only 114 paid fire departments. Another 187 departments are a combination of volunteer and paid.
For that reason, aid from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) could be more important than ever to the state where wildfires have recently been raging.
At a press conference Monday, Perry promised to seek federal disaster relief and said that FEMA would be in the state by Wednesday.
While the Texas governor has been highly critical of FEMA in the past, he told CBS’ Erica Hill Tuesday that now was not the time to worry about reforming the agency.
“The issue is taking care of these people right now,” Perry insisted. “We can work our way through any conversations about how to make agencies more efficient, how to make Department of Defense equipment, for instance, more available. There are a lot of issues we can talk about, but the fact of the matter is now is not the time to be trying to work out the details of how to make these agencies more efficient. Let’s get people out of harm’s way.”

Unions are fascist to start with. In a Union the employer can not fire the worst employee nor can the employer promote or pay the best employee more pay. It is all based on seniority.
So when times are tuff it is last hired 1st fired. And if your best worker was the last one hired you have to fire him/her 1st.

Decline started when the government would not live within it's means. They take the money out of the economy stripping it from the private sector who could do something with it.
Loved last night’s show with James Hoffa commanding attention for labor like no other labor leader can.
Labor needs to push policies through Democratic leadership that help to guide wages back up by finding ways to bring some of business owners income at the top back down to labor. We need to do this while protecting businesses that do not make sustained profit, so we can protect what business and jobs the economy has.
I would like to see a profit-sharing policy that requires businesses who have sustained quarterly profit for one full year (recorded on their monthly Income Statements) to share a small percentage of the assessed sustained quarterly increase with labor in some way, through wages and/or benefits. That would protect businesses that do not make continued quarterly profit from financially participating.
Businesses could put the quarterly profit percentage right on workers pay stubs as Quarter-1, Q-2...and give copies of their Income Statements to the IRS.
We could ask the American Accounting Association to help set up separate worksheets for such a percentage of quarterly profit increase and possibly add a line for quarterly profit increase on businesses Income Statements.
I am saying that if out of three months, a business has two months of profit and one month of profit loss, a business would only have to share a percentage of that profit if the business earns that same amount of profit increase in three other quarters of the year, and then, only off of the net-increase. (We cannot ask businesses to share a percentage of profit unless it is ‘solid-sustained’ profit.)

Well, for one thing my family owns a machine shop. We do long and short runs, job shop work, prototyping, custom tool & cutter work, etc... And employee 75 people.
In 1985 we offered the employees a better benefit package than the union did (United Auto Workers), they voted the union out. And the UAW trays ever year to bring it back and the workers vote no.
