Let me fill you in on the whole 99% vs 1% thing, because none of you seem to understand what it's about. It's this simple.... those who are working for economic fairness for the 99%... don't necessarily NEED TO BE IN THE 99% THEMSELVES. So it doesn't matter how much money THEY HAVE, but WHO THEY ARE WORKING FOR concerning tax policy and economic/social fairness. You know.... that thing that Jesus Christ preached and taught when he was on the Earth.

In fact, there are and have been plenty of Democratic Senators and Reps who are millionaires... the Kennedys for example, and even President Obama. Yet they still vote for taxes to be raised on the rich... ie. themselves, instead of the middle class and poor. They aren't attempting to cut programs for the those who are struggling, just to give more tax cuts to the themselves. They also don't vote to give subsidies to oil companies who don't need them. Elizabeth Warren is among those and she set up a regulatory organization to protect the middle class from unethical practices of the banks and being taken advantage of by them.

Then of course there are the Repugs/TEApugs, many of whom are also millionaires... but they are selfish, greedy SOBs. They are only concerned about getting more tax cuts for themselves and their rich corporate donors who line their pockets and buy their votes. They are working for the 1% alone and have no concern for anyone who can't buy their votes. They are unethical, scumbags who have sold out their part in government to the highest bidder.

I agree.... I'm glad the broadcast about the Bin Laden raid was re-aired. I tried to watch as much as I could last night, in between making dinner... but it was good to see the whole thing again. It is a very significant part of history.... and President Obama has proven his abilities with foreign policy and chops for national security.

As for all of the Repugs trying to down play it all, including the trolls dismissing the broadcast as crap who are obviously jealous of President Obama's accomplishments. If I were them... SPOACT, I agree with your assessment of Jimmy Carter. I believe he was the most intelligent and inciteful President of the post WWII era (with DDE a close second). The problem with Jimmy was that he was a Washington outsider and not only resented by the Republicans but also by many of those within his own party. With the odds stacked against him he didn't stand a chance. It's a shame because he was the only one of his times who saw the "Big Picture".

The only thing you can say for the republicans is that when they got their outsider (Reagan) in office they chose to back him at every turn. Too bad his intellegence, as well as his policies were completely flawed and we still find ourselves 30 years later suffering from their consequences.

That is one of the stupidest comments I've seen and heard today... except of course what Mutt Robme and Crazy Lady Bachman said earlier. So do you not consider Bin Laden killing more then 3000 innocent people in our country a criminal act?

I might add that Bin Laden was not a citizen of the United States and did not have the rights of a citizen of the US. He was also a terrorist and a murderer who was plotting to commit more terrorist acts and more murders. So you still think he didn't deserve to be killed?

Also I don't think you bothered to watch the broadcast about the mission to get Bin Laden... as it was mentioned that provisions had been made to bring Bin Laden back if he was captured. But it was up to the SEALS on the mission to decide if that was possible... and they certainly weren't going to allow Bin Laden kill them or one of their colleagues.

So Bin Laden was armed and ready to fight back.... and they took him out. And frankly... I give President Obama credit for having the courage to go after Bin Laden in that way rather than just having a drone drop a bomb. That would have killed others in the compound, and possibly neighbors living nearby.

And considering that GW Moron was so incompetent he ignored the intelligence warnings he was given about a possible terrorist attack using airplanes, thus allowing the 9/11 attack to take place. Then he and his administration completely dropped the ball in going after Bin Laden afterward.

The job was left for President Obama to do for the country, to keep us all safe... including the sorry asses of all of those Repugs/TEApugs who won't bother to give him the credit he deserves for anything he has done to save this country... you included. It's clear hat you were never in the military. If the Seals were ordered to bring OBL back alive that is what they would have done regardless of the danger. The mission is more important than lives. Barry took the easy way out by ordering his murder.

They didn't use a drone because they weren't sure that OBL was in the compound. They needed his DNA. Barry also wanted to make sure he could have a proper burial ceremony. One muslim taking care of another muslim.

As a former member of the 82nd airborne and combat vet, I can say that the Navy Seals, Delta Force, Rangers are the best we have. They perform these types of missions, thats what they do so to them it was just another day at the office. Hell half of the training they recieve is against the law according to Obama. I f we did the things they have to go through to our captured terriost it would be called torture. So in reality dangerous missions is what they do. So really for a commader in chief to order a mission like this is not all that brave on his part. These guys do this type of stuff thats what they do. So my gratitude goes out to the brave souls who do these missions with out all the praise. They ARE on stand bye and ready to do another mission when called.
