Mitt Romney killed a woman in France.
He got a head injury during the car crash.

I do not find the country is divided. But I do think that Bush did not do enough to find Osama because he did not want to. Those who died on 9/11 may not have been worth it for him, but to send a lot of troops to Iraq to die that was really worth it? To me Bush is a criminal.

And I will never forget the party where he belongs, because they were happy with the war which only profited the Military Industrial Complex and left a lot of families without one parent for nothing. We lost lives and funds just to keep his daddy happy. If Bush would have used the resources wisely Osama would have been dead during the first year. But he wanted the war instead.
We were paying for the military and the intelligence community but Bush did not know how to lead. And neither is any of the GOP candidates or the one chosen. They are just after protecting the profits. They will not fulfill no purpose.

To be fair, and because we criticize republicans for telling such outrageous lies, we have to be better than that. The story of "Mitt killing a woman in a wreck"...c'mon, that's a cheap shot. We're better than this. He was driving and had a wreck and his passenger was killed in the wreck. He was found to not be at fault in the accident.
That aside, he's a scumbag. haha. This is the new republican agenda for this year's election cycle. Deny what can be denied (war on women), accuse where there is no basis (war on religion), spin to their credit stuff that they didn't do (bailout of GM), minimizing (ok, economy isn't good enough), and now this. Mit Romney is not only divisive to the country; he is also both a hypocrite and a liar. He first said that we should have let GM go bankrupt. Now that it is evident that saving the auto industry was the right call, he is now trying to take credit for it. He flip-flops more than a Mexican jumping bean.
The Repugs/TEApugs do nothing except DIVIDE in every area, not just national security. They have nothing favorable or popular to run on in their platform, as it only helps the 1%... so the only thing they have left is to fear-monger and divide. Romney got most of his money by firing people and bankrupting smaller companies.
Bain uses pension funds as collateral to obtain impractically large loans after gaining control of a company. These loan proceeds are siphoned off as consulting fees and profit instead of the legitimate investment for factory retrofit or other company improvements.
The person that investigates this kind of thing for the federal government used to work for Romney at Bain capitol (Pension Benefit Guarantee Corporation).
Retirement funds that are stolen like this are supposed to be retrieved by "reach back" during the bankruptcy filing process, but that process isn't being applied to Bain/Romney - presumably because of their "ace in the hole" that is supposed to investigate this.
I forgot to mention.
Romney experiences no remorse whatsoever after confiscating retirement funds from tens of thousands of fired employees, and the most obvious reason is because of limbic system damage caused by the auto accident and coma.
Romney's old company, Bain, is currently trying to bankrupt American Airlines so he can profit from their $8 billion retirement fund.

I will give Rachel credit- when Obama was elected, she stated on a show that she was relieved to know that now we had someone in office who she had confidence in to not order a direct assassination. She has been the one liberal who dares criticizes Obama for those actions. Now the real question- is this rubbing it in the nose of terrorist Muslims? I'm sure liberals would think so if a conservative ran on that platform- but I suspect they will hold him to different standards.

There is a book out now called, DO NOT ASK WHAT GOOD WE DO. BY ROBERT DRAPER. It chronicles the secret GOP plot to ruin Obama's presidency. It was hatched the night of the inauguration, primarily be Newt Gingrinch, the main speaker at the dinner. Present, among others, was RYAN, CANTOR and other bigwigs of the party. They planned, by 2010, to put T-party freshman in congress to thwart every bit of legislation the president wanted. They did that; there are 87 T-party freshman in the house for one purpose only, and that purpose is not to legislate, but to prevent any of Obama's ideas from passing.
They have succeeded in this endeavor and we must get them out. They are hurting this country and they DO NOT CARE. They are illegitimate. They would take us down with him without a second thought.
John Boehner is well aware of this plot. They all are. They are a ruthless bunch of cutthroats and anyone who votes for them is casting a vote against this country. That is what I believe.

But the caption next to the smashed car says: The car Romney was driving, a Citroen DS, was hit head-on by a Mercedes driven by a priest. Romney's car was totaled, and all six occupants were injured, one fatally.
So if a priest hit Romney's car, then how is Romney responsible for the death of the woman? It doesn't say that Robme was responsible for the accident, does it? Crackhead... your link is a bit misleading there if he wasn't responsible.

The driver of the car is responsible for their actions when that kind of thing happens.
I've never driven so fast on a blind curve that I can't recover if someone crosses into my lane.
Nobody would have been killed If Mitt had been driving at a responsible speed.
George Romney sent an army of people to France to "fix" this, including a medical team.
The accident photos appears as if the combined speed of both cars was about 100mph. That is why there was a fatality.
Speed limit in most of the US for a blind curve is 25MPH.
A combined vehicle speed of 50MPH is survivable in a car. The accident photos clearly show much more damage.
The driver IS responsible for the speed of the accident.
A policeman explained this to me after my first accident in the 1970s.
Excessive speed resulting in a fatality is a compulsory manslaughter charge in most of the US.
I was not driving too fast. There was no fatality.
And so on.

We would definitely be buried under McCain's bad policies... remember, he wanted to stay in Iraq, stay in Afghanistan... so we would still be involved in both of those wars draining billions of dollars and costing American lives. On top of those, McCain/Palin would have surely gotten us into wars in both Lybia and Syria and might have even invaded Iran by now.
President Obama has us out of Iraq, heading out of Afghanistan. He avoided getting us into a war in Lybia by "leading from behind"... and is using sanctions against Syria and Iran to pressure them. Not to mention his taking out pirates, Osama and a slew of his minions.
Then of course, with McCain we would be in the middle of the 2nd Great Depression because instead of stimulating the economy early on... McCain would have followed the conservative prescription of austerity. We can see how that is working for all of the countries in Europe, and their conservative austerity measures.
President Obama avoided the country sliding into that depression through his stimulus and economic policies. He has been creating jobs since shortly after he took office and economy is slowly recovering, even with the GOP conspiracy of obstruction and refusal to pass any sort of jobs bill whatsoever.

Crackhead, come on... I didn't see plooka say or even insinuate anything of the kind. But they are making the same point I have been... of sticking to the facts in our assessments of Mutt Robme. I mean... he certainly has enough REAL bad points to criticize that we shouldn't have a need to make things up about him or criticize him for something innocuous and insignificant like his religion.
Also... where are you getting this information about him going too fast on a blind curve, etc. Besides.... regardless of whether it was a blind curve or not, as long as Robme was in HIS LANE... it is NOT HIS FAULT. If the priest was in the wrong lane and he hit Mutt's car... he is the one responsible for any injuries or deaths.
Another point... young men serve only 2 years on their missions, so I don't know why Mitt's would have lasted 2 and half. Where ever you are getting this information, these simple facts about the church don't hold up to what I know to be fact, which makes me question the validity of the rest of it also.
By the way... I did know that the early TV series (original) Battlestar Galactica contained LDS or Mormon doctrine as it's creator was LDS. In fact, it was a very popular series among church members back in the 80s for that reason. Of course, church members were the only ones who recognized them at that time and most non church members didn't care.
I've never been interested in the newer version of the series, so I don't know how much of those details were retained in the newer version. But the article about it that the link went to mentioned some guy (I don't remember his name) who was making comparisons between the things on the tv show and Mormon doctrine. But he was off about some of those comparisons and where those doctrinal points came from, so I'm not quite sure he really knows what he is talking about either.

Firstly... there is NO Proof he is guilty of manslaughter or anything like it.
Secondly... I agree that he has participated in Wall Street corruption, just as everyone else on Wall Street. Unfortunately, they have the system set up so that corruption is perfectly legal. Which is why we have to get the system changed to make it illegal... which will only happen by electing Reps and Senators who will make that happen.
Thirdly... I have one to add, Mutt Robme should have spent some time in jail for animal cruelty also.

We seem to be talking alot tonight, but another point I need to question you on is your insinuation that damage to Robme's "limbic system" via his accident would have affected his "unemotional" behavior. As a speech and language therapist by profession, I've had to learn about the brain and specifically different types of brain damage via accident, illness, etc.
The limbic system which you keep referring to is located deep in the temporal lobe and is part of the nervous system. But the types of emotions that are primarily regulated there are the primitive responses of fear, fight or flight, etc. Not memories nor compassion/empathy, conscience. From what I recall, those types of functions are generally reserved for the frontal lobe and the parietal lobes to some degree. It is injury to those areas of the brain which would effect the types of emotions you are referring to.
I do agree that Mutt Robme is definitely lacking in compassion, empathy and conscience to a great degree... but I'm not so sure that it's the result of brain damage as simply a result of being a privileged out of touch, rich guy who doesn't have a clue about what the lives of middle-class and poor in this country are like. And neither does his wife who has also been raised and lived her life in privilege, where she's never had to work or worry about financial matters.
The links provide the same kind of evidence that would be presented in a courtroom.
Proof is what you get after the jury votes.

A couple of other details are that the article said that the other driver was drunk or was thought to be drunk. Robme would definitely not have been drunk because Mormons never drink alcohol. Also.... the article says that Robme was driving or chaufferring the Mission President to a church meeting. So I suspect he would have been driving very carefully and obeying all laws.... not out on a joy ride at top speeds.

#1 Photographs of a smashed car aren't proof of anything... they certainly don't give the necessary details of what actually happened and who was at fault.
#2 Romney is shown recovering in bed... yes, that still doesn't prove that HE WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACCIDENT. It does prove that he was hurt in the accident.

The PBGC has not done any "reach back" to recover the pilfered funds from Bain because Romney has a friend as the head negotiator at that agency. Romney prevented that by firing the employees to eliminate those claims.
