No. Neither M.Romney nor J. Boehner have any interest to know what middle class people go through everyday. They only think about the 1%ers and their rich friends who will bring them more money. They are not fit to be leader of America. America became great in the world because our previous leaders made all the safety nets for the middle class and poors that these leaders wants to stop.

Big Al has it right. A lot of people don't see the handwriting on the wall. My family went through those times in Germany in 1933. We lost everything because a bunch of complacent, brainwashed idiots let the Nazi Party take their country away from them. By the time they realized they'd been had, it was too late. I just finished reading "In the Garden of Beasts" by Erik Larson and there are many comparisons to 'pre'-Nazi Germany and the republicans now. I was totally shocked by the similarities its almost as if they meaning the republicans are using some type of Nazi standard operating procedures manual.

You are correct, as usual but so many people don't realize how they are being led like garfield said, by the time people realized what was going on it was too late.
I am ashamed that so many people in this country don't know enough about history to figure this out.

Ethlelouise, Good Sunday morning to you. You know what decade at least now they took public education down the road of teach the test. Proficiency test. Then the No Child Left Behind. When test become the norm in education and you can only teach to that so much is lost. It is proven time and again history repeats its self. That there is nothing new just brought back under a different name. History is our template and lessons learned. I am ashamed as you of the actions we have seen in a country that apparently is hell bent on hatred and greed. The wealthiest among us are in Washington. They through money can be swayed which ever way the wind blows. This nation would not exists if it were not for immigrants. My concern with Romney is that he is a Bishop in a church would use tithings to build a something that looks like this.
Am I the only person that thinks this is wrong to use church donations to build something like this when we are suffering through the worst period of unemployed and homeless since the Great Depression?

The only reason to build a casino is to make profit from people that need that money.

According to the church, members are expected to tithe 10 percent of their income. In Romney’s case, in 2010 he gave $1.5 million, closer to 7 percent of his adjusted gross income. You know when you have hundreds of millions let alone just several million, a number of Mc mansions and all. Giving 7% of your AGI to charity isn't all that difficult. Also charity begins at home, but with where Romney's donation's are going is a bit too close to home; and then to use it as a talking point?? WOW!!

I'm going to have a hard time seeing the charitable side of donating money to a religion that does things like this.

i agree with you, this has to be part of the reason why mitt is so out of touch-why people lost jobs when mitt worked a bain. he is simply doing what he has been taught to do.
i worry about what mitt might think of his power as a mormon, if he were to be elected president. this has been a goal for the mormon church, to have a mormon president. the fact that they think they can baptise the dead to change their religion to mormon, makes me suspect that they may have loftier goals in mind if mitt were to become president.

Mormonism is a SECT, not a Christian Religion, they use that Theme as a facade. They extract $$ (10% from active members) and even those that are not members pay for the rights to use the Mormon Archives to search for family records. They; the Mormons; do not give, they take.
