Well, I am not French, personally, but my girl friend while I was in high school was... After meeting her, I aced four years of high school French... My french teachers even said I had picked up the French accent...
I still practice it once in a while by playing DVDs of familiar films with either French audio or French subtitles... I also listen to Celine Dion singing in French a lot...
