President Obama speaks from the Rose Garden about oil speculation (4/17/12)
Republicans keep hammering President Obama over gas prices. Well, today Obama proposed action that would reign in Wall Street oil speculation. Rep. Barney Frank (D-MA) joins Ed to talk about it.
Today was a big day in the fight against ALEC—the right-wing group announced it’s shutting down its work on “social issues” like voter ID laws and Stand Your Ground Laws. Rashad Robinson, Executive Director from ColorOfChange, joins Ed to talk about why ColorOfChange thinks ALEC’s statement is just a “PR stunt”.
Some House Republicans got together today for a meeting they called “Conversations with Conservatives”. Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN) joins Ed to talk about that AND how he testified on the Hill today about racial profiling in America.
Rocker Ted Nugent has had some controversial political opinions in the past (and that’s putting it nicely)—but that didn’t stop Romney from seeking his endorsement. Well, this time the Secret Service is reviewing comments he made about President Obama at an NRA event this weekend. Eugene Robinson, MSNBC Analyst and Associate Editor and Pulitzer Prize winning Columnist for the Washington Post, joins us.

Ted Nugent & the likes of him are very dangerous. I don't believe he is a stable person & is likely to incite violence.
Now to ALEC, I do not trust them! They have been deceptive for many years and as we see over and over again . They reorganize and change the name and still reek havoc. I hope there is light at the end of the tunnel. We must keep the pressure on and watch for there dirty tactic's.
Republicans are simply on the oil company's payroll. They get paid more from the oil companies than we can pay so they do the bidding of big oil, ALEC and the Koch brothers.
The republicans do not care how much damage they cause this country as long as they go against President Obama. They are all corporate stooges, they don't want to find alternative sources of energy until they have milked all they can from the American citizens with the spectulation of oil. They know it is not going last forever so they want to fill their pockets now instead of thinking what is best for the United States. Total greed!

Rocker Ted Nugent? Why is the Ed show staff misrepresenting the information this Nugent thing and the way they have reported on it is false.
Ted Nugent is a washed up former rock star.
How can they be "misrepresenting" the information? I heard the comments before Ed ever came on the air. The clip Ed played is exactly the same as the original. How is that "misrepresenting" anything?
The blog post says Ted Nugent is a "rocker", this is false because Ted Nugent is a former washed up '70's rocker. The misrepresenting the fact that Ted Nugent is so beyond not important anymore.
