Getting set up for the interview.
Vice President Joe Biden spoke today in Exeter, New Hampshire, saying Republican Mitt Romney is out of step with basic American values.

Vice President Joe Biden works the crowd after his speech in Exeter and before an exclusive interview with Ed Schultz.
Indeed, Ed is in the house to conduct an EXCLUSIVE interview with the vice president, just ahead of a crucial vote on the Buffet Rule, which Biden contrasted with what he calls the "Romney Rule."
President Barack Obama is pitching a measure named forbillionaire investor Warren Buffett that argues that wealthytaxpayers should not pay taxes at a lower rate than middle-classwage-earners.

Vice President Biden comes out to speak.
By contrast, Biden says Romney wants to let the very wealthy gety early tax cuts worth more than the annual income for the average middle-class family.

Getting ready for Vice President Joe Biden to speak in Exeter, New Hampshire.

Will Joe Biden explain how the Buffet Rule, which will raise an average of $5 billion a year for the next 10 years, sill stimulate the economy and lower our debt?
Speaking of anniversaries, it's been two years since Joe Biden said the economy will soon be creating between 250,000 jobs a month and 500,000 jobs a month. We're barely broke though the 250K mark. March numbers didn't help much and first-time unemployment claims increased last week.
With tax time upon us, what did the Biden's donate to charity last year? Have the broke the $6,000 mark yet? I know it's tough to get by these days on a $350+ family income.
Even the Obama's struggled to get by, Michelle couldn't afford to stay at home what with Barack in the state legislature, teaching law at night, travelling and being a practicing attorney. There just wasn't enough money coming in. But, thankfully, Michelle got a part time job at hospital that paid a $100,000 a year. There's a happy story for ya.
Go back to Fox news, they miss you.
will ed ask biden about male staffers in the obama wh making 18% more than female staffers? why does the obama admin. have a war on women/
Whomitmay - You should watch Fox News and see what you're missing.
whom doesn't need to watch anything....he get's his info from his imagination.
RaelNYC, #1 A happy story, indeed. If only it were true.
Now the commie is going to spout out about Obama's "war on women". LOL
Lots of troll alerts today. India out till the air smells better.
tap just makes it up by repeating what myths the GOP told him. Like Reagan was a job creator, when reality is after 8 years of Reagan there were 7.7 million new families on welfare as well as a new class of people, the homeless, but like tap Reagan ignored them too.
Why would I watch Fox GOP propaganda? What next you going to make the case that Fox is fair and balanced not based on the shows that are pure 100% GOP talking points rather because Fox news made the claim.
How many families have went onto welfare during the Obama Administration? Also, how many new jobs have been created?
You fail to mention record filibusters by the right. It's NONE of your business what VP Biden gave to cherities. You want to blast the left for nothing, but don't hear you asking about Robme, Newtser, drugster, etc. OH, that's right, they don't have to give. They just have to take. Go back to Fox, they said they need a couple more fools.
Larry....bottom line where are the results???Where is all this hope and change???Well I guess there has been change ....a change of more poverty, a credit rating downgrade, more debt, more division in the country....I don't think this was the kind of change America wanted....
Enough Excuses....How about some good results....
TAP, You asked how many jobs had been created.
http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2012/01/obama-web-ad-touts-jobs-record-asks-supporters-to-spread-the-word/
Don't take my word for it. Read this. The answer is 3.1 million. With the millions of jobs lost under GWB, it is an amazing record. He took office in an economy second worst to the great depression.
India
This was from:
"Since Obama took office in January 2009, when the economy was still shedding jobs en masse, there has been a net loss of 1.7 million jobs."
Whatever the Biden's give to charity is a hell of a lot more than I give. I stopped charitable contributions 13 years ago when my accountant told me how much the liberals will confiscate from my estate when I drop dead. I've had it up to here with drunken lazy bums that refer to themselves as "the poor". Screw them all.
Don't worry. The Republicans are taking care of that for you.
The GOP caused the greatest financial crisis since the great depression but you still want to blame President Obama. You're stupid enough to believe, with all the GOP obstruction, this mess is going to straighten out in short time. Get real. And by the way, when ronnie raygun left office the unemployment rate was 10.8%. But hell, why let something like the truth and facts interfere with your talking points.
larry...Ronnie inherited a bad economy....the difference in him and Obama is he actually took a horrible economy and Created over 16 million new jobs....How many has the Obama administration created? You see you only post the parts that support your distorted view of the past.
Oh and don't try to lay total blame on the GOP for the housing crisis...your liberal politicians forcing banks to give loans to people who could not afford to by a dog house let alone a $100k ranch loans. And Barney Frank and Friends touting that there is no housing bubble.....give me a break....
TAP, I hope you are not saying that Obama inherited a good economy from Bush. See the answer on post #1.10. I have the facts.
PS The credit rating downgrade was caused by t-partiers like Michele Bachmann who refused to do what has ALWAYS been routinely done: raise the debt ceiling. It made the financial world nervous to see these carryings on in the GOP over the debt ceiling.
Hey India....I'm not saying that Obama inherited a good economy....I am saying that he is not getting the results that he promised and excuses are not cutting it...
I wish I had more time to chat with you but I must go.....I miss our chats....Have a great one India...maybe late tonight we can chat more....
So the truth is, yes it has been difficult......but even a rep as pres could not have done any better....Give me a break.
TM, I left you a message.
TM...being president is difficult....some get results...others make excuses. I think you know who does the latter.
Tappy, what would the unemployment rate be if McCain and Palin were elected instead of Obama?...And use facts, you know, that stuff you know nothing about?
Johnny....If I could predict a fictitious past....It would stand to reason that I could predict the future as well....If I could do that....I would be sipping margarita's on a nice sunny beach right now instead of debating the undebatable.....
Here is one for you....why hasn't the unemployment rate been below 8% for years after Obama promised it wouldn't go over 8% if he got his stimulus?
Doesn't the fact that it not only went over 8% but has been much higher and remains above 8% to this day show that he doesn't know what he is doing? His mistakes are costing us Trillions.....If a CEO had the record that Obama has ....he would have been fired long before now.....
Notice the right never bother to mention all the obstruction, filibusters that the GOP has done. Notice they still blame the President for the credit downgrade, even when it was told why it was downgraded.
And when ronnie raygun left office he left us with a mild recession and 10.8% unemployment rate. He also raised taxes 9 times and the debt cieling 18 times. The B grade actor trashedhe country after he trashed CA. And he would be considered a liberal with todays GOP.
Nice try Larry. When Ron left office the unemployment rate was 5.2%, again proving that he was one of the best.
Nice try Larry. Ron only raised taxes when the Dems agreed to cut spending.
Larry why is it that you're always wrong?
Good Job Larry74
yes funny they dont want to talk about the real reasons the economy hasn't come back as fast as it should be.
but its good to know that many of us do know the facts.
LOL going to be good to see Mitch's face come Nov 7th when he awakes to the fact he is a LOSER!!!! only had one thing to do, only had one thing to focus on. even at the cost of the country.
and that was to make President Obama a one term President. LOL poor turtle don't know America is for Americans.
Obama 2012
Pilot you're right, liberals know all the reasons....Conservatives have all the money.............LOL
Here's your boy Duck, and Ive got pleanty more where this came from...
REAGAN LIE
DETECTOR
Reagan conducted one of the most
absurd invasions of American history, targetting the tiny island of
Grenada.
As president of the
Screen Actors Guild, Ronald Reagan informed on fellow actors to the
FBI.
The Reagan
admininstration was one of the most corrupt in American history, including by
one estimate 31 Reagan era convictions, including 14 because of Iran-Contra and
16 in the Department of Housing & Urban Development scandal. By comparison
40 government officials were indicted or convicted in the wake of Watergate. 47
individuals and businesses associated with the Clinton machine were convicted of
or pleaded guilty to crimes with 33 of these occurring during the Clinton
administration itself. There were in addition 61 indictments or misdemeanor
charges. 14 persons were imprisoned.
Using a looser standard that
included resignations, David R. Simon and D. Stanley Eitzen in Elite
Deviance, say that 138 appointees of the Reagan administration either
resigned under an ethical cloud or were criminally indicted. Curiously Haynes
Johnson uses the same figure but with a different standard in "Sleep-Walking
Through History: America in the Reagan Years: "By the end of his term, 138
administration officials had been convicted, had been indicted, or had been the
subject of official investigations for official misconduct and/or criminal
violations."
Four members of the Reagan
cabinet came under criminal investiation, as compared with five in the Clinton
cabinet. Three top officials of the Harding administration were in indicted in
the Teapot Dome scandal.
The Reagan
administration had secret plans for an unconstitutional takeover of the federal
government under an ill-defined national emergency. Members of the government
created by the coup had been selected and included Richard Cheney.
Reagan's decision to
send troops to Lebanon cost 241 lives. As the NY Times noted recently, "Mr.
Reagan's decision to send marines to Lebanon was disastrous and his invasion of
Grenada pure melodrama."
During the Reagan
administration the number of families living below the poverty line increased by
one-third.
Reagan's policies
led to the greatest financial scandal in American history: the Savings &
Loan debacle which cost taxpayers billions of dollars.
Julian Bond,
president of the NAACP: "He was a polarizing figure in black America. He was
hostile to the generally accepted remedies for discrimination. His appointments
were of people as equally hostile. I can't think of any Reagan policy that
African Americans would embrace."
Reagan made major
cuts in Medicaid, food stamps, aid to families with dependent children, and
school lunch programs.
Reagan fired 13,000
air traffic controllers in a devasting blow to government union members from
which the labor movement never recovered.
Washington Post:
"Reagan, during his 1980 campaign, blamed trees for emitting 93 percent of the
nation's nitrogen oxide pollution -- giving rise to jokes about 'killer
trees.'"
We were told four years ago that 17 million people went to bed hungry every
night. Well, that was probably true. They were all on a diet." --Ronald
Reagan, TV speech, October 27, 1964
Losers backing losers, gotta love it.
Johnny...how can you chat about GOP corruption when one of your own democrats is on trial as we speak...John Edwards?
After observing the the hot smoke being blown out by these GOP supporters, What are the Ideas or Plans do they (GOP) have to offer, so far I haven't seen any Hope/ Change or anything from them, what is it they have to offer that's better?
rob...go to Romneys website....it has his plan....Obama's budget plan was so bad democrats couldn't vote for it.....
I Went there, to Mitt's site nothin' new just the typical cut tax plans and Ideas that hasn't worked for the last 30yrs. I'm still wondering what he has to Offer that's better than the President?
what could be worse than what the president has to offer....democrats can't even vote for his budget plan.
Under GOP plans 10's of millions of jobs were created....Obama is still in the hole that was created by Democrats forcing banks to loan money to people who could not afford them...then deny that a housing bubble even existed and defended Freddy and Fannie
Probably the Ryan Budget!
If that's true why did the people vote for the Dem's? why not McClain?
Really no difference between McCain and a Democrat.
Well? i guess there's no Difference between Romney and McCain
Rob Chicago
Lower taxes, less waste, entitlement reform, trashing Obamacare if the SC doesn't do it first., paying down the national debt. Most important of all, making Americans understand the the USA will never be their NANNY STATE.
Didn't we supposedly have that under Pres Bush? the taxes were lower, we had a surplus, gave tax cuts to generate Jobs, Wasted Money on Needless Wars. The GOP were in control, where is all that Prosperity and milk and honey they were supposed to lead us to?
Needless wars??..................LOL
Sure Needless, because the guys that wanted it should help pay for it!
rob...it was a lot better then than it is now...If the democrats wouldn't have caused the housing bubble we would still be in good shape. Bush was bad...Obama is the second term of Carter.
The Question I have if the Dems did such a screw up why did people vote them in ? If they had all this Confidence in the GOP.
Liberal media cover up.....paired with Obama pie in the sky promises of I will change Washington....
Haahaahha, you mean to tell me Faux, Rush missed that, ..I believe the Answer is they (GOP) Mismanaged the Country so bad everyone had enough of them, and they have no Idea or Plan how to straighten it out, and they still have no Plan, nothing but the same thing that put us in this position.
So they are planning to require banks to give out loans to people again who can't afford them and then defend Freddie and Fannie....and deny that a housing bubble is building?
I don't remember that being in Mitt's plan.....
