Here's an important programming note: Ed Schultz will conduct an EXCLUSIVE interview with Vice President Joe Biden just ahead of a crucial vote on the Buffet Rule.
Ed will interview Biden on Thursday, in Exeter, New Hampshire, where the vice president is scheduled to deliver a speech on tax fairness, one of Ed's favorite subjects!
Ed’s interview with Vice President Biden will be seen on The Ed Show at 8pET on Thursday, April 12, on MSNBC!

Can't wait for this one Ed!! You ARE the man for the 99%!!!
Same here.....Joe is a treat.
Agree.
Good = Look Forward To Seeing VP-Biden On Thursday's Show !!!!!
Is it possible to ask Mr Biden the following question?
That's going to be a great interview. I can't wait
Go JOE !!!!!!!!!!! Go ED!!!!!!!!!!!
Thats a good question, you should tweet it or put it on Ed's facebook page. Do it early so that he would see it. I to cannot wait to see the VP.
Now Mr. "Everyman" Romney is criticizing President Obama's call for tax fairness and equality for All Americans and wants to replace that silly ideological premise with what "he" thinks WE Should Want.
"Opportunity"
Doesn't that word just 'sound' all American…like apple pie? I wonder how many hours it took them to think up this one?
Let's be very clear on one thing here.
This IS America and IN America…
Equality IS Opportunity!
as usual ed will display his hard hitting interview skills. his toughest question will be "mr vice president why are you so great"?
Joe Biden makes Dan Qauyle look like Bill Gates .Nothing Biden or Fat Ed says is true. This interview will seem like watching dumber and dumber.
Maybe this will explain your way of thinking....
Conservatives and liberals don't seem to agree about much, and they might not agree about recent studies linking conservatism to low intelligence and "low-effort" thinking.
As The Huffington Post reported in February, a study published in the journal "Psychological Science" showed that children who score low on intelligence tests gravitate toward socially conservative political views in adulthood--perhaps because conservative ideologies stress "structure and order" that make it easier to understand a complicated world.
Ouch.
And now there's the new study linking conservative ideologies to "low-effort" thinking.
"People endorse conservative ideology more when they have to give a first or fast response," the study's lead author, University of Arkansas psychologist Dr. Scott Eidelman, said in a written statement released by the university.
Does the finding suggest that conservatives are lazy thinkers?
"Not quite," Dr. Eidelman told The Huffington Post in an email. "Our research shows that low-effort thought promotes political conservatism, not that political conservatives use low-effort thinking."
For the study, a team of psychologists led by Dr. Eidelman asked people about their political viewpoints in a bar and in a laboratory setting.
Bar patrons were asked about social issues before blowing into a Breathalyzer. As it turned out, the political viewpoints of patrons with high blood alcohol levels were more likely to be conservative than were those of patrons whose blood alcohol levels were low.
But it wasn't just the alcohol talking, according to the statement. When the researchers conducted similar interviews in the lab, they found that people who were asked to evaluate political ideas quickly or while distracted were more likely to express conservative viewpoints.
"Keeping people from thinking too much...or just asking them to deliberate or consider information in a cursory manner can impact people's political attitudes, and in a way that consistently promotes political conservatism," Dr. Eidelman said in the email.
The study was published online in the journal "Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin."
What do you think? Are conservatives less intelligent than liberals--or more intelligent? And is conservatism a matter of lazy thinking?
You mentioned three names. Which two out of three can spell 'potato'?
The Buffet Rule?
Why is it .. These Republican politicians can ask those in need to give of their want, while not asking those with much to give of their surplus?
For many years these politicians stood by and encouraged jobs being outsourced. They deregulated the banks, allowing predatory lending and the housing bubble, encouraged by keeping interest rates two low, two long... The Credit agencies passing bad investments off as AAA, (credit default swaps and CDO's). Yes, we watched as our 401k became a 201k back in the 2008 crash. Remember this all took place before Obama.
Now someone has to pay for Bush's two wars, his gifts to the wealthy, and bailing out of the banks and the lost revenue from outsourcing jobs and hiding profits off shore, the bursting of the housing bubble.... What's their answer? It's to downsize the government... No, not reduce their salary's. They want retirees and seniors to foot the bill. You know the baby boomers who paid into the Social Security system for many years, while a smaller, older generation drew on it.. creating a surplus that the politicians quickly borrowed, leaving IOU's. Now that the boomers are retiring the politicians don't want to pay back their IOU's. They want to give the wealthy even more tax gifts... the "job creators". So they can create more jobs in China? Trickle down economics doesn't work. It trickles down to China and has made them wealthy enough to buy our debt. The industries that created our middle class are now in China. Our middle class is shrinking and as it does so... so does demand for goods and services. Small business will also be hurt. This is all little more complicated then a one line sound bite.... But so very important. We in the middle class have to wake up and vote in our own best interests...... So I have to disagree with Republican agenda and any Democrate that wants to stick the shrinking middle class with the bill, but asks nothing of those who profited by gaming the system.
Boy this world has changed since the 50's and 60's, when good Job's were plentiful. Seems everything these days is made in China. Have you noticed? We all rush out to buy Christmas gifts produced in a communist country, that is largely atheist.... To celebrate a Christian Holliday, the birth of Christ ... While so many here need good jobs to support their families. I read China is about 2% Christian. We have made China's atheist, communist, government wealthy enough to buy our debt. Go figure!
Funny I saw a TV documentary on China awhile back, that showed how their GDP was being kept high during the global recession as they were doing a lot of construction projects. They were building whole city's of new condo's. Only they were sitting empty. Seems their people couldn't afford to buy them. They were priced much lower then housing here... around $70,000 a unit. However, their workforce was making $2.00 and under an hour. They live outside the new city's in shanty's. Trickle down economics doesn't work there either.... That's why their government can afford to finance our debt. The money stays at the top when big foreign Corporations partner-up with their government to produce products there to bring back for us to buy. China treats their large workforce, labor market, as a commodity to be purchased by foreign big corporations. Their delima is that if they allow wages to rise so their people can buy the new housing, (that's helping their GDP numbers), the big foreign corporation's will shop elsewhere for cheaper labor.... So much for spreading the wealth and uplifting poor people in 3d world countries. Sounds nobel but that isn't happening. The wealth is pooling at the top there too.
No this new global economy just makes the investor class wealthier then ever. Big corporations have outgrown the borders of the countries that spond them. Many found paid slaves half a world away. Too bad the housing bubble burst. It was so nice for them, when the consumers, middle class, here didn't notice their stagnate wages, as they could subsidize their income with credit equity in their homes. They could buy all that high profit margin, cheaply produced, stuff from distant places like China. Kept the economy humming. The investor class was loving it. Many less wealthy, in the middle class, were feeling wealthier then they were too. But it was built on a foundation of housing bubble feed credit rather then sound, good paying jobs. But now.. Someone has to pay for all that lost revenue. No... not the investor class.... They have an answer though... Just shrink government, renege on Social Security, Medicare and the social safety net for the poor, and disabled. The people that depend on these are an easy target. They don't have much political clout....
Those who didn't make or profit by the economic mess will be the ones to pay the bill for it.... Shame!
Just downsizing the government to match the lost revenue from this new global, multinational corporate economy has a problem..... This new economy that so enriches the investor class, at the expense of the working middle class, by cutting them out of good paying jobs and taking part in the economy is not taking account of one thing. What will you do with all of us? We aren't going away just because you downsized the government. We will still be here, maybe poorer and angrier, but won't you also need to downsize the population too? We need a better answer then just downsizing government by cutting essential programs. The Ryan budget unfairly attempts to deal with the symptoms, but does nothing to fix the problem. We have shrinking revenue. Taking away, (transferring wealth), from the middle class, and retiring baby boomers, to the wealthy as in the Ryan plan will not increase revenue.
By the way... Could it be? That good paying jobs, that also create revenue here rather then enriching foreign countries like China, are not coming back until the profit it is taken out of outsourcing jobs? Is this feeding the development of a two class system of few wealthy and many poor, at the demise of the middle class and America? How about creating a level playing field for our workforce? Why is it China puts 25% tariffs on imports, thereby protecting their workforce, while we put 2.5% tariffs on imports? Guess Why? Could it be greed of those, at the top, prospering, and profiting, from the farming of paid slave labor, from half a world away and importing goods back here? But isn't it hurting our middle class Here and diverting much needed revenue from our government to that of foreign governments like China's?.....
Now.. Those who didn't make or profit by the economic mess, left by Bush, but are being hurt by it will be the ones to pay the bill for it.... We need Good paying jobs and revenue!
Why is it .. These Republican politicians can ask those in need to give of their want, while not asking those with much to give of their surplus?
Ed Shultz and Joe Biden = Dumb and Dumber.
All you can do is call names? I wouldn't be calling anyone names if I were you. Straighten your skirt... Your slip is showing.
I've always liked Joe Biden. Looking forward to Ed's interview with him.
I can't wait for this interview. :) I love how feisty you are Ed. :) You're awesome. Full of energy. Almost as energetic as VP Joe Biden.
Live free or die: Death is not the worst of evils.
Oh and that dummy Biden, yeah, he was so dumb when Bushies pushed us back into Iraq. Dummy Biden, said, they're tribal and that it was likely that 1 unified Govt. wouldn't work as well as a: Suni, Shia, & Kurdish regional govts.
You go Joe, you're my kinda Big Effin Deal!!
