The @edshow won't be seen tonight in its usual format in order to present MSNBC's rolling live coverage of the Michigan and Arizona primaries.
Of course, Ed himself is on the panel for that coverage tonight beginning at 8pET, along with Rachel Maddow, Chris Matthews, Lawrence O'Donnell, Rev. Al Sharpton and Steve Schmidt, who ran the McCain-Palin campaign in 2008.
And The Ed Show blog will have the latest results from Michigan and Arizona (at the very top of the page, refreshed every 2 minutes).
The @edshow will be back tomorrow (Wednesday) for at 8pET full post-Michigan/Arizona coverage on @msnbctv.

Now on to reality not teavangelical fantasies, if Romney loses tonight the likelyhood of a brockered convention increases....but a brockered convention in fact is just another word for a Romney victory so.....
What must happen is Gingrich should drop out because he is a not electable candidate, the party is not stupid enough to give him their nomination(hopefully?). If they did it would only end in a tremendous loss, Newt is only in this because of his massive ego and the longer he stays in this the lower the chances of a GOP victory will go.
If the GOP wants to win they need to force Newt out long before the convention.

The last good Republican president was Nixon, who had the chutzpah to executive order a wage price freeze when the economy got out of hand in 1971. Reagan was anti labor; he didn't show it but his secretary of labor Ray Donovan showed it. Same deal with the Bushes. Fast forward 30 years, the Republican party continues to show its anti-labor attitude and meddle in morals legislation (look at VA, AL for starters!) As long as the Republicans meddle, quite bluntly, in p**sy politics, they are running the chance of incurring the wrath of 50% of eligible voters. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned....a larger voting bloc than the NRA...

Santorum is too strange; I think he sees the presidency as just a step to the papacy. Plus, he crossed the Rubicon when he disrespected the memory of an assassinated American president, an icon in fact: JFK. Lots of folks still remember that terrible day and the dreadful sound of the drums.......that was way out of line on Santorum's part. It showed an appalling lack of sensitivity.

Ed, As far as the republicans attempts to punish the democrats with voter suppresion laws,Why cant voters who dont have proper I.D. offer a thumbprint as a sort of affadavid, instead of showing photo I.D. I think this could resolve the issue for both sides.
