Insanitorium May As Well Turn His Arse Around - Like A Dog That Has Been Whipped !!!!! That GOMER May As Well Crawl Back Into The Swamp Where He Belongs = Along With ALL Of The Rest Of Them !!!!!!
@Lucci
Yeah... but with Rick's delusional thinking, he doesn't realize that this is a loosing battle for him. He's going to be shocked when he finds out the truth.
The days of women just being thought of as a baby machine are long over. That
applies to all women, catholic and all. You are exactly correct. The church has
brought the wrong fight.
@Lucci
Yes... I have wondered about that. In fact I posed that question on the blog last week when this contraception issue first arose. I wondered specifically what Calista used when Newt first started having his affair with her and since.
Newt has children from his first marriage, but none with subsequent relations. Maybe Newt got snipped himself... otherwise they must use something.
Just the idea of a Santorum Surge makes me wanna go and change my underwear.
spike is this the only reason you change your shorts???
@Spike
LOL... especially considering the definition you get when you google Santorum's name. Do we want a President whose name is synonymous with that.
All, the issue is not should women have access to contraception, they do and nothing in the discussion is an attempt to change that. The question is that of the First Amendment. Does the government have the authority to impose moral values which contradict a religious organization's founding doctrine. If the government can force the church to do anything that violates its doctrine the First Amendment is lost and the government replaces the church. If the First Amendment can be violated are all Amendments not at risk. Is the Constitution itself not at risk? Obama has gone too far and he will lose this fight, not because of contraception, but because the government has no authority to dictate policy to the church.
Rick Santorum doesn't care about women health. Just ask his wife after (7) Kids. He is what you called a Crazy Catholic, The Pope is his boss. This man will never become President, he is no John Kennedy. Mr Santy is your clown of the week. Republicans can be proud!!!
yes. Actually Republican party is in disarray. The members don't know who, if anybody, is a good candidate. There is no good person in republican party who is good to be a leader of America and the world.
We will reelect President Obama in 2012.
My changes are not saved. There is no good person in the republican party who can be the leader of America and the World. President Obama will have no problem to win in 2012.
Nothing that happens in this primary circus will be a surprise to anyone. It is as unpredictable as their next propaganda statement, slogan or code word.
I missed the first part of Ed's show, so I'm not sure exactly what he means by "Santorum's surge being the turning point for conservatives". I voted yes and interpreted it as meaning that Santorum is the last "unRomney" they have left to vote for.
So if down the road, Santorum is determined incapable in their eyes for some reason, they have no one left unless they want to take a chance on Ron Paul. Of course, Paul seems to be sneaking around behind and snatching up all of the delegates whether he wins the caucuses or primaries or not.
Of course we Demos, Progressives, and many Independents (and I dare say even a few conservatives) already know that both Santorum and Robme, along with all the rest are incapable of being President... unless this country wants to see another huge disaster like the last GOP idiot in office.
I answered yes because the GOP bases is so desperate that they will find Santorum to be "fresh air" so to speak. However, if they woke up and listen to his crazy talk they will find out that he is just there as every repug to take care of himself and his cronies.
Santorum said during one of the debates that he doesn't care if he gets criticized for being on the side of Walmart because Walmart will not take the jobs overseas. Which may be true over here they pay low wages keeping a lot of their employees on welfare. They did something worst, they manipulated their supplier to move to China leaving here a lot of unemployment and poverty. I wonder how big a check did the GOP leaders get this quarter. And how much of that portfolio is for Walmart stock.
Santorum, says we share their values. No, not if their values are guns and miss quoted Bible passages. Apparently he does not have a benevolent concern for others. Where does the GOP gets the idea that peaceable people carry their Bibles on one hand and their guns on the other. Just because that is the way the US has operated through out history, that does not mean is Godly. Jesus did not carry any weapons and yet has changed lives. Ghandi did not carry any weapons and yet changed history. Mother Theressa did not carry any weapons and changed countless of lives. Rosa Parks did not carry any weapons and changed the history of the US.
In reality,
If Republicans win the election which is not possible, but if they cheat and win, the Ryan Plan will go into effect immediately. We can expect a lot of CEOs being paid by tax payers as a lot of government agencies will go private.
I partially read his plan. If everybody goes for this then they just did not read it. It is extremely unfair to those who have been suffering already. It will really be an immoral injustice. Not one decent person would feel good just taking care of the debt in a way that will hurt so many.
Ryan talks about "our children" and the legacy “WE” are leaving them, the debt and taxes and so on. He does not want to leave "our children" this legacy.
The problem is that he is not really talking about the children of the bottom 85 or so % who share only 7% of the financial wealth in this country. He is talking about the children of the top 15% of the country who now (thanks to the 2 unpaid wars and unemployment and policy making of the powerful) controls more than 93% of all the financial wealth.
So, when the Republicans talk about share sacrifice they are just asking the middle class and the working poor to pay more taxes but they do not want their wealthy, cronies and fraternity brothers to pay any. In other words let the children of the working poor and the middle class pay MORE taxes in order to keep the children of the top 15% paying LESS.
The children of the bottom 85% are already sacrificing enough, just by having parents who are plagued by low wages and high prices of goods and services. Right now there is at least 30% of people in the US who are unsure from where is their next meal coming. Even if that was only 1% it would already be too much for the good, concerned humans to know and still sleep well at night without caring.
So, If the Republicans win this elections we can expect the Ryan Plan take hold and only their children to be taken care of for decades to come. So, be aware that when they speak of "our children" they are not talking about "ALL the children in the US", but about THEIR CHILDREN.
To me that is more of a class warfare than to have a fair tax code for everyone and to have those who are already benefiting by paying the low wages and from having high prices of goods and services, pay more. And by giving those on the bottom of the totem pole a break.
D.SCULLY - I voted NO due to the fact that they (GOP) all think the same so it really doesn't matter who the candidate is.Like I have said before,get rid of ALL of the current GOP candidates and put someone completely new in there.They then MIGHT have a chance of winning but with who they got now,FORGET IT !!!!!!
@Ted
But what do you think would be different about some other new candidate? They will still have the exact same platform of "tax cuts for the rich, destroy Obamacare, medicare, Social Security, start a war with Iran, throw out the illegals, and now abolish abortion and ALL contraception, etc. etc. etc." Those are the only policies that matter to these conservative troglodytes and which all of the GOP candidates must run on.
You are correct, all of these current candidates policies are just slight alterations on the same theme... work for the rich, squash the middle class, start more wars and continue bankrupting the country and destroying the government. Any new candidate will be no different or they can't be elected by conservatives either.
D.SCULLY - There's bound to be one(that's all there is) good REPUBLICAN out there who probably couldn't afford to run for PRESIDENT or flat out doesn't want to because of the costs and the BS that comes with running for office (now that's one SMART republican).
Ted
Well sure... there's Buddy Roemer. He is running for President, but won't use Super Pacs or take donations over $100 I think. Though I'm not sure what his political philosophies or policies are regarding economy, etc. But he at least seems to have his head screwed on straighter than most GOP.
@afrommi
That's true.... President Obama pointed out how unfair and unequal the Ryan Budget was when these Repugs first passed it over a year ago. As I recall... they caught hell for it by their constituents when they got back home right afterward.
Of course, since then... a lot of those Repugs have stopped holding open constituent meetings but charge admission to those who are supporters and stupid enough to continue donating to their campaigns.... which of course would only be the richer supporters, not the average underclass who they don't really care about.
Hopefully those angry constituents who cast votes will vote their asses out of office, and replace them with representatives who will really represent their interests.... fairer tax codes, strengthening the safety net, funding infrastructure projects, building schools and restoring other social services that are needed, etc.
he just getting his time in the box.
but sounds like the cry babying bully consecutives are tell Mitt to stay off Rick..
LOL this next few months is going to be good, not sure if the popcorn maker will make it or need replacing.
CLICK ! That was the LIGHTSWITCH of CONSERVATES !!! It goes ON AND OFF , QUITE OFFEN !! " Today I`ll VOTE for....... And TOMORROW , will VOTE for SOMEONE ELSE !!??? " OCCUPY THE VOTE - NO ELECTION TOO SMALL !! The PREZ and BOTH HOUSES will GIVE US ALL the THINGS HE PROMISED !! STOP REPUBLICONS !!!!! cafepressDOTcom/THE99percentSTRONG
PILOTSHARK - You might have to replace the popcorn maker with an industrial one.
Ted a Binford 22000 super PAC max, modified for extra popping and auto buttering.
smiles
PILOTSHARK - If you can afford it,then go for it. How much for an X-LARGE tub if not a XXL tub of popcorn heavy on the butter going to cost ?
Ted...
I guess you didn't notice, PS said it was a "super PAC max". which, like negative commercials, he wouldn't pay for it, his super PAC would...
PS...
You do have a Super-PAC, don't you?... If not, contact Stephen Colbert, I hear he has one that isn't busy...
Santorum's surge the turning point for conservative voters big deal come November who ever the GOP picks as their Clown candidate their going to lose Obama 2012 bottom line.
Well steve, everyone is hoping you are right. Santorum said if he was the nominee and was elected he would have an all THEOCRATIC Government. The Religious right would control it. Pray that the silent majority doesn't sit on the sidelines like they did in November 2010.
Don't worry Chuck-2258469 The Republicans are not going to win I think Obama has no problem with these GOP clowns. All we need is a big turnout in November
@Chuck
Someone in Santorum's campaign needs to fill him in on this little document called The Constitution which forbids that.... provided anyone in his campaign has ever heard of The Constitution.
Hey Turtleman... I think Obama is GOING TO BE A 2 TERM PRESIDENT. Na na nana na!
Santorum surge sounds like a bad storm coming in. Another clown for republicans. Remember PALIN/TRUMP 2012.
I voted no. Santorum has some extreme positions, even for republicans. I'm guessing ultimately, he will have to get the blessing of "Big Daddy", a.k.a. Karl Rove before he will be embraced by the republican faithful.
I don't believe this "surge" (gawd, that makes me throw up a little in my mouth to use the word surge in a topic about Santorum) to be anything more than another flavor of the month type thing. C'mon, HOW....HOWWWWW could anyone take this guy as a serious presidential candidate?!?!? I don't even listen to anything he says about non-social issues, because his stand on social issues is so effin' extreme radical, it boggles my brain. He's not a politician; he's a wannabe theocrat, Chief Pope of the US. God almighty, I hope enough people in this fine nation see the danger in this guy if he should somehow capture the nomination.
Hey, plooka32. Good one! This Santorum surge makes me want to purge!
@plooka
The thing is.... back in 1960.... the Repugs ran against JFK with fear mongering about him running the country on the basis of direction from the Pope in Rome. Of course that was a lie and JFK never even considered turning the country into a Catholic theocracy.
Now the Repugs have a candidate who is actually running on doing just that. But now.... a theocracy based on Catholicism seems to be okay with the Repugs... just as long as it's not one based on Mormonism. Now that is the religion, along with Islam of course, to be feared.
I say YES, But it doesn,t matter they all are a bunch of loser in the GOP.
If for no other reason than women have had the vote for years (maybe the GOP just wants to pretend this isn't true, like so many other false assumptions they hold to so dearly) ... Rick Santorum is unelectable in a general election.
But, the GOP used the uninformed and more bigoted in their "base" to gain the power they now have (after being sent to the shed in 2008) and dang, that monster just may eat Dr. Frankenstein with a Rick Santorum nomination as JUST DESSERTS!
Nanny try this Go to Start/Computer than Right click on Local disk, drop down will show Properties,Click on it and chose Disk Cleanup, It may take some time than click OK.
If you don't have at least 18% free disk space, You may need to remove old System Restore points.
To do this, go to Disk Cleanup and this time click on More Options/And click on System Restore and Shadow Copies and click Clean Up, Delete files! It may help, and all Window since XP has this system restore and you need to do this yourself. Windows needs at least 18% free disk space to DEFRAGMENT properly
And you should defragment your hard drive once in a while, As these restore points build up automatically!
psalm82: I didn't mean to add that to your post as a ignorant response but it was the only way it would post.
Who ever get the nomination will be endorsed by the GOP collective.
Psalm82:
Sanitorium is unelectable, but then none of them are. The surge is probably nothing more than it's his turn at the top. That top sure does spin a lot....kind of like Rash Dimblub when he's pushed into a corner.
Hey xxx!
LOL! #7.1 is kind of like when a politician is still mic'd up and you here things you're not suppose to.
@xxx ooo
Is the "Lazy slobs bill" the current legislation that Bonehead and the TEAbags are trying to pass through Congress?
I'm not surprised... because I know it's not the money for jobs bill.
Exactly!
Our system is designed so that no pone can get the candidacy on the first convention vote. That will mean that nominations from the floor can be accepted causing a brokered convention. The is a reason behind this but it would not serve to put it out there but you might be able to figure it out if you just thought.
@TC
How is that and why? How is the system designed not to get a candidate on a first convention vote? Also there was a story last week... maybe on Rachel's show of how this campaigns process has been rigged to make it more possible for Robme's win. But that Ron Paul has his supporters snatching up all of the delegates after the caucuses and primary votes are over. Did you catch that story last week?
there has been a revamping of the system everywhere. We just had a Prinairy in Missouri that was one by Santorum but he did not get a single delegate vote. The real power in the GOP does not want a far right candidate who can get the votes out in Conservative states to come to the convention a winner in advance they have rigged the system so they will have a role in picking the candidate. In other words they are in it to win it not to just to be philosophically correct.
For sure, for any conservative who desires anyone-but-Mitt (ABM). However, with these inept candidates the GOP has in the presidential race, it's really another shoe-in for Obama for 2012
Santorum is just one more disgusting GOP creep who is getting creepier every time he opens his mouth.
He is a pimplehead and he needs somebody to extract his brain so he can get real about what the American people are concerned about. His latest attack on birth control is right in line with his bigotry. Obviously he is not only against "bllllaaacks" but he thinks women should have no civil rights and should be happy to turn over their bodies to men like him. Chauvinism is NOT a presidential quality.
Nancebell: Yeah....first Santorum loses the "blah" vote, and now the women's vote. Trust me, once the GOP vets him more, and realizes how very weird he is, we'll be back to Robme again. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.........Obama 2012.
Of course, we could get very lucky and all the flat Earth folks rally behind the idea of going back to the early 1900's! Then it's Santorum/Obama. Oh, dare I dream....?? Just to watch that little tyrant fall into Obama's capable hands. OOOOHHH..yeah!
NanceBelle, The operative word is "CREEP"
NANCEBELLE - Haven't you realized that it's one big ZIT sitting on Santorums shoulders ? If you were to POP that ZIT,it would be one heck of a mess to clean up(yuck !!!!!!).
@Nancebelle
Well... not in this century at least, but the GOP are about 100 years behind. It's always the ones who don't believe in evolution that are the least evolved.
@India
Oh yeah... that "blah" vote is a hard one to get, as is the women's vote when you are a short-sighted troglodyte like Santorum. Of course that describes all of the GOP clowns. *shrugs* What can they do?
DScully, Troglodyte....yes..that fits him. LOL
I love it when Republiclowns feed on each other! I think the American public has had a belly full of them! Keep up the stupidity Rick, Newt And Mitt. You will insure a Democrat sweep, of Local, State, And Federal elected officials come November of 2012!!!
Mad Dog Democrat... And proud of it!!!
spot on, mad dog. i am also proud. they are self destructing and obama will win again. what a funny show!
Mad Dog, I so agree with you. Throw them more bait and let them have free for all.
The 'THING' has gotten out of control, even the repubs don't know what will happen next and they will be the most surprised of all. At this point I think most of their followers have given up the idea of finding an acceptable candidate.
Thankfulmom, What do you think of the possibility of a brokered convention? The way things are going, one can't help but wonder.
PS, Happy Valentine's Day to you and yours.
The Repugs are a sorry lot and in complete disarray.
I think President Obama will be a 2 term President! What ya'll think?
Hi India!
I think there's a very good chance of a brokered convention *with* a Dark Horse.
But then again, they have 2 perfectly "good" puppets in Sanitorium and Willard. One problem (besides many for us) is that if either one of them becomes POTUS, we would be the laughing stock of the World. Could be the GOP doesn't give a sh!t.
Kathe, Grover Norquist actually said he'd want Romney as Romney is easily LED! See, all they want is a toady who will keep the money rolling in for THEM!
Why can't people see that all they care about is the wealthy? It's so obvious to us.
I voted no. Because no matter what nut case gets the nod, the president gets re-elected. GOBAMA!
Hopefully November will be the turning point of the future of this country. We'll either go the way of Greece or we'll realize our future is doomed staying on our present course and make the proper changes in our leaders and policies to avoid the disaster our country will experience.
I am assuming you want to get rid of every Republican in the House and Senate. Otherwise we will go the way of Greece. Have you seen what happens when the Government does what the European Union wants them to do? Cutting minimum wage, cutting retirement benefits, etc. Sounds just like the American Republicans protecting their enablers.
@ Sixpick-Hopefully you're correct.We'll make the proper changes and the T/Per's will be voted out of Congress giving Democrats a majority. McConnell will learn his lesson and quit obstructing in the Senate. Hopefully the Bush tax cuts can expire along with oil subsidies and America doesn't go the way of Greece or China or India. Hopefully America can have a strong economy and middle class again.
Danimal, Your lips to God's ears.
OBAMA 2012
6 = Piss= Off = Open Your Sealed Eyes !!!!! GOMER !!!!!! and Just WHO IS IT That Is Obstructing The Progress Of OUR Country ?????
MD/MI - I KNOW, I KNOW - It's every REPUBLICAN politician out there,now ain't I right on that ( or am I left ) ?
@sixpick
That's right... if we continue with this do nothing GOP/TEApug Congress and continue with the austerity measures that Greece, Spain, UK and other countries in Europe are implementing and which is causing their economies to go down the toilet... our economy will also stop dead and go into a depression, and unemployment will go up,etc.
Because despite the fact that all of the Repugs like to accuse President Obama of trying to turn the US into a European style government... it is the Repugs/TEApugs who are actually following the European's current example of austerity instead of stimulus. Repugs want a European style austerity government now when stimulus is needed to grow economy.
It is President Obama and the Democrats approach to stimulate the economy that has saved our economy from the brink of a Depression and started to restore some growth. We would have more growth if the idiot Repugs/TEApugs would get off their high horse and start cooperating with the recovery instead of trying to thwart it at every turn.
@Danimal
I don't know if you are familiar with sixpick, but the course he is talking about not continuing on is with President Obama stimulus agenda. If I'm not mistaken, he is one of the TEApugs who supports the current DO-NOTHING CONGRESS and Turtleman's obstruction in the Senate who are doing everything they can to prevent any recovery or growth in the economy.
@DScully- Yeah I knew that about Sixpick and I don't think you're mistaken about him
Here is something I read today which quotes Santorum:
Santorum has long opposed contraception and has pledged to preach about “the dangers of contraception in this country,” if elected president. “It’s not okay. It’s a license to do things in a sexual realm that is counter to how things are supposed to be,” he has said. The former Pennsylvania senator has also claimed that states have the right to outlaw birth control.
Nancebelle, If Sanatorium the Bed room Candidate gets nominated it will be awful for women here in America. He is a fanatic and his views boarder line on Schizophrenia.
Pam--the guy has some real hangups. He needs therapy.
Once all women get his views on that, he won't stand a chance of getting within 1,000 miles of the WH. I think he'd like to be a little Napolean. Thank God he'll never get the chance. I saw Boner and the Turtle making their stupid remarks about this whole flap. They sound like Santorum. Of course every Rep sounds just like every other one. They all stick together. I was surprised today by a young woman on Millionaire. One of the questions was Newt ran up a $250,000 bill at what store: Louis Vuitton, Coach, Tiffany & Co., or Neiman Marcus? And she didn't know the answer! Where has she been?? So, I don't know, if you have a lot of people like her that don't know what's going on, we may be doomed!
Nancebelle, You here him talk and you wonder are people who have him up in the polls really hearing what hes saying? I have to wonder how many churches and since we do not know where the money is coming from are contributing to his campaign as well. Could Catholic groups be putting money in his campaign? Things are so screwed up that I think nothing is off the table !!!
Pam & MJB: One of Santorum's problems is that he is catering to the crowd so he just adlibs everything on the spot. He is so shallow and hasn't got a clue about the depths of actually running a country. He's only in it for his ego.
I agree there are some real fools out there and they will be just as bigoted as he is and will vote and do whatever they are told. But I have confidence in the American people. Most of us have been degraded by him, whether it's minorities, women, or unions, etc. The thing we have to worry about is the corporations and billionaires who want to control our country. They will dump lots into that scheme.
@Nancebelle, Pam, MJB
That's right.... if Santorum gets elected POTUS, he will pass out the only form of contraceptive he deems appropriate and safe. Chastity belts.... to all unmarried women of childbearing age.
Of course, monitors will be attached to all pregnant women's uterus to tract those pregnancies and protect those fetuses until they come to term... irregardless of the woman's health or well-being as women can't be trusted to make appropriate decisions on their own regarding their pregnancies.
DSully, I so agree with you. If everyone would step back and listen to him , well hes preaching not politicking. I feel he has no line drawn between church and state. There's a very big reason there separate . They have 3 candidates and there all three loony tunes. Your right Chasity belts , model 2012 made in China. Elect Sanatorium and he will control your sex life ! Then you have Mitt he will be the Corporate President and hand out barf bags for your dog. Newt he only wants to be Historian and mo money for Tiffany's. Paul, hes just the good old guy who has 60s mentality. Let them have fun and Peace brother. So you have 4 men running for President and this is the best they have? Obama and Bidden !!!! Happy Valentines Day Sculley !
@Nancebelle, Pam & Scully
Did you notice Santorum's wife standing behind him at the podium? She looks like she's been dragged through a knothole backwards! But if I had to live with him, I'd probably look like that too. I bet he makes her life H*ll!
MJB, Your right she looks haggard and worn out. I bet he rules the roost and follows religiously the verse in the Bible about submitting to your husband. You know when we got married almost 40 years ago now. we agreed in our vows to change the word OBEY to Cherish. We felt the word obey was for children and the family pet. We have a church here that is round, The joke is the Devil Can not hide in the corner! LOL. But the women donot cut there hair , no pants, no dancing and on and on. My goodness the Bible is full of sex and good times. And the Wine flowed. I have problem when ordinary men and women get behind the pulpit and preach fire and brimstone and control a congregation. Sanatoriums views are his and have no business in politics !!!!
I would like to see the law change as far as people who work part time, Their employers get out from paying into the fund for unemployment because if you work less than 40 hours they need not pay in! Its one BIG loophole and more and more people are working these jobs If they can find a job at all. So they are on a life line unemployment compensation and it hasn't the funding and add to the shared National debt. I suggest that all employers pay in regardless of hours it would encourage employers to put them on full time and help the unemployment fund from adding to the debt. The way it is hurting this country in so many ways and is not fair to those who work two or more jobs and if they lose employment though no fault of their own are left with no unemployment benefits this loop hole should come to and end as workers, taxpayer and the government has been taken advantage of. This must change!,
thx for talking about this issue.i was not aware of this.exactly what is wrong with this country
I sent this message to the President. I hope if you agree you would do the same.
http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact
because if you work less than 40 hours, Eight hours off. President Reagan signed a bill that allowed employers to NOT pay BENEFITS or OVERTIME to people working less than 32 hours a week. Employers, read Walmart, Target, et al, loved it.
XXX--Yes, I agree. And the reason companies hire only part timers is to keep from having to pay benefits. It's very frustrating and I remember when the trend started at least back in the early nineties. I worked with folks who were limited to 30 hours so they couldn't get benefits. It was so sad.
Nancebelle: Walmart still does that. They are brutal to work for, I've heard from several people. It is so wrong, and it is a wrong that the Republicans love and want more of.
I made a promise to myself that I will not, for any reason, shop at Wal-mart.I transferred all my prescriptions. I pay a little more, but there is something satisfying about driving right past their store and over to my local HyVee or Dahls' Younkers, Von Maur and Ace Hardware. I know it's a money thing for most people. I wish it wasn't.
People have said to me frequently that Walmart's less expensive. Doesn't matter to me.....never shop there. My Dad always did until he started going to my store to pick up medicine and shopped around. He transfered his prescriptions to my store.....80% less. He gets his food there....25% or more less. Took a while to convince him to try something different, but now he's seen the light. I don't know why my area is like that. Walmart is no deal here.
Voted No. Sanitorium's surge makes no difference to me. Nor what affect it has on the conservatives' choices.
Obama/Biden - *the* choice for 2012
DEE in Des Moines--Can you get Hy-Vee stores to come to Rapid City, SD. They are great stores, better than Wal Mart. Please make a call or e-mail Hy-Vee to get store going in Rapid. I have e-mail them a couple of times and haven't hear back yet!!!
Steve do they still have the deli the Missing Link? I loved that place!
@Chuck
Might have known it was another sleazy deal from that @!$%#, Ronnie Reagan... against the middle class and in favor of the corporate masters.
@Dee
Do you have Walgreens Drugstores in your area? The reason I ask is that when I lost my medical insurance... my doctor told me to take my perscriptions there as they have this low cost perscription program.
I was able to get a 3 month supply of medications for only $12. This is less than when I had insurance, and I had to pay $10 -12 copay for only 1 month supply of medication. So 3 months cost me $30- 36 with insurance.
I will never use insurance for perscriptions again, except medications not covered under Walgreen's plan. That is if I ever get a job again with insurance coverage.
Steve: I don't know what influence I would have, but I have a good friend in the
corporate office and I can certainly pass it on to him. I'm surprised they are not
in South Dakota. Could be they might be competing with another established
store. I like their deli department and produce. Quality is always the best.
Also, their bakery products.
Scully
Walmart has the same $4 a month ($12 for three month mail) on generics on their list. I am in the VA system ant they charge $8 ( $24 for three month mail) I cut my prescription cost by $40 a month by going to Wal mart. If they have no Walgreen they may have a Wal mart.
We got a Hy Vee here 2 years ago and is the most popular store in the area but are also the most expensive especially their meat.
DSCULLY: Yes, we have Walgreens. That's where I transferred my prescriptions.
I supposedly got some sort of discount at WalMart. Some of my prescriptions
are much less expensive at Walgreens without any so called discount. I am very
blessed. I have to pay for my prescriptions at time of purchase, but between 2
insurance plans, I get every dime back. I know how fortunate I am.
I voted 'No'. I don't think it really matters which republican is chosen for the nominee this August. Any of them will send women back to the 1700's. Actually, any of them will send the majority of the population back to the 1700's, poorly educated, chickens will be used to pay Doctor Granny for her medical services, voting will be only for the elite and the environment will degrade.
I hope a a large number of the republican congress are voted out. Boenher, Cantor and McConell come to mind. I hope the people get educated about just how bad these people are.
Who cares when Ron Paul's turn to rise in the polls?
@xxx ooo
Actually Ron Paul's supporters are like 'pitbulls' the 'special caucus that Newt was suppssed to win in Vegas was 'snatched' by Ron Paul. the millionaire Adelson had a special caucus for religious reasons but the Paul supporters 'crashed' the party by saying that they had to 'work' that Saturday morning and then crammed the ballot box full of votes for Ron Paul.
@xxx ooo and Ethelouise
I don't know if you saw Rachel's show on Friday... I think it was then. She had a story about how Ron Paul is pulling a big one on the GOP, and having his supporters stick around after the caucus votes, etc. and taking all of the delegate positions. Isn't that strange, and funny?
So even though he hasn't won any of the caucuses or primaries, he will show up the convention with the majority of delegates supporting him. It seems strange that they have no rules to prevent that, but Rachel interviewed one of Paul's supporters who admitted that is their plan or strategy.
The GOP doesn't care about principle or anything else, they're all blinded by greed and hatred towards Obama, so all they care about is winning. Anyway, all candidates will be nothing but a puppet for the RNC if elected, so who cares?
Hi OR!
They're a matched set of 4......pick one at your peril.
I'll go with the Obama/Biden set.
It is hard to say that Santorum is just the flavor of the month, the republicans are running out of flavors. [Santorum flavor??] OMG please forgive me.
Hi Viewer!
What a vision. Ugh! My gag reflex is activated.....but you're forgiven.
Just to share with you all, I further I read the following:He's slightly incoherent:
Rick Santorum told an audience at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) yesterday that insurance plans shouldn’t cover contraception services because birth control “costs a few dollars” and is only a “minor expense” for women:
SANTORUM: Interestingly enough, here is what they are forcing them to do — in an insurance policy, they or forcing them to pay for something that costs just a few dollars. Is that what insurance is for? The foundational idea that we have the government tells you that you have to pay for everything as a business. Things that are not really things you need insurance for, and still forcing on something that is not a critical economic need, when you have an economic distress, where you would need insurance. But forcing them even more to do it for minor expenses.
The only reason birth ccontrol pills is at a low cost , is because the CO-PAY is only a few dollars! Birth control arranged through Planned Parenthood is only a few dollars, because they buy in bulk, and the cost is subsidized through the governments involved.
If women actually had to pay for their own birth control, it could add as much as $1400 a year to their budget. That ain't chicken feed...
Santorum, is just the flavor of the month. When it comes down to the wire, he doesn't have the financial backing that Romney has. Wait until those negative ads start coming out.
But they have to settle on a flavor sometime! The problem is, they all leave a bad taste in your mouth!
