The South Carolina primary could decide the GOP presidential race, or at least decide how much longer it will go.
The Ed Show is taking the weekend off as usual, but Ed is, of course, on the panel tonight as part of MSNBC's rolling live coverage of the results, along with along with Rachel Maddow, Lawrence O'Donnell, Rev. Al Sharpton and Steve Schmidt, who ran the McCain-Palin campaign in 2008. Chris Matthews is also checking in from Tampa Bay, Florida.

I'm still clear on Huntsman.....the others all all smoke and mirrows.....don't trust any.....9 plus the 99 per cent. Maybe cain was on to something. These so called middle class jobs that Romney created at Staples and Sports Authority is a joke. These jobs are 99% minimum wage sales jobs, selling mostly products from China. I liked John Huntsman too! It's too bad he dropped out. He was rational and polished. The conservative Southern movement wants a man like Newt to go up against Obama and its not going to work out for the Republicans.

All I have to say is that in each of these primaries, they have elected a different candidate. Just shows how divided this party is, and how they are not sure of any of these candidates. Yet they have weeded out some of the worst idiots, and, the so called cream of their crop, has now risen to the top. It still need to be scraped off and thrown away before the party curdles.
