We need to give pink slips to all of the Repugs/TEApugs in the House and Senate that we can. They have been handing out hundreds, perhaps thousands of pink slips to public and federal workers since they got into the government.
The Repugs/TEApugs at the state levels also need pink slips for their union busting, prohibiting worker rights and laying off of public workers... not to mention suppressing voter rights. First on the list... pink slip Scott Walker.

Jess, can't agree..... If Hillary runs it will be 2016. She will not be a second fiddle. If we run Hillary now, it would make the democratic party look desperate and I don't believe we are.
Besides, if Hillary did run for VP, it would mobilize the republican base. Instead of an election choice of Milquetoast vs our sitting president, it would be a rewrite of the 2010 debacle.

Thankful mom 318--Willard said it himself, he likes to fire people! He wants the people to buy their own Health Insurance, that means doing away with Medicare and medicaid. Pink slips are in the mail, no wait not in the mail I just sold the PS to China, by Fed-Ex. Remember Corps are people, money is Free Speech per Mitt (Willard).
Mitt would be handing out so many pink slips that whatever companies supply paper to the Executive Branch would need to get more paper from the companies that make paper from wood pulp - and those companies would ironically have to hire enough new employees so they could make paper 24/7 - otherwise, book publishers would have a shortage of paper and have to lay off the employees involved with making books using paper and migrate to e-books only. The only other suppliers that may have to hire more would be the vendors who supply pink dye.
Another quandary is that the USA would be analogous to the 22% of the 77 companies that Bain extracted sufficient assets from to force the companies to close or file for bankruptcy - and that process would be more than sufficient for the House to impeach Mitt and the Senate to send him to Leavenworth - in a cell with pink walls & bars even!
4 more years of Obama/Biden would be much better that even a day of any of those clowns who want to have sufficient reason to be in Tampa for the Republican National Convention this coming August.

I think the Mittster has someone nasty in mind for VP.... who has also endorsed him, like Chris Christy. Or maybe he'll go for someone like Mississippi governor, Haley Barbour who might help him get votes in the south, with the Evangelicals and maybe even the TEAbaggers.
Both Christy and Barbour were GOP hopefuls for this Presidential race early on, then both decided against it.... but I bet either of them would go for a VP spot.
I think it's going to be Nikki Haley,The South Carolina Governor. She is likeable to the South and he isn't. Watch both of them this week. And it's starting to pi-- off Newt. But yes, Christie seems like the odds on choice. I don't think it would help Romney though,unless the South loves Christie.
If Romney allows Haley to be his vice president he'll lose just like McCain/Palin. If Mitt becomes President,I think he will start cutting jobs right away,and use his restructuring mantra as justification for those losses.He said himself that losses will occur,but how does that play in the hands of the unemployed as well as future unemployed,when they know their company is struggling? I guess if Nikki Haley is not well liked, then endorsing Mitt will help her one term Governor rating. My son lives in S.C. and he hates her agenda as well as her arrogance toward the President, mimicking him like Mitt does. Her poll numbers are way lower than Obama's in her state,and it makes sense to her to ride Mitt's coattails to VP. Palin tried that with Mc Same after her lousy performance as governor. I am just finishing my last chemotherapy treatment and I am trying like heck to look at the bright side. I want to live, until my grand children are, at least old enough for them to remember me as a fun Nana. And I want to live long enough to see President Obama win 2012 and and a woman be elected president.

Yes. Mr. Romney is a CEO. Most of the large corporation CEOs , in order to get their multimillion dollars bonuses will not hesitate to lay off their employees. We say we are democratic, but this is the real story.
It is important that we cap CEOs incomes and change Capitalism to RIGHTISM, as that is the right thing to do for the People of America.
Too bad there's no clause in their contracts saying salaries of the laid off workers are deducted from their bonuses. Then they might work on more long-term sustainable solutions rather than sate their short-term, selfish greed.

Romney was never involved with Capitalism, where he made his money through producing something of value to other people. The GOP has started and continues to float the myth, sadly with your help, that what people not on their side of the political aisle want to fight "capitalism" and "free enterprise" when this is not the case.
Think of oil companies...there is nothing innately wrong about them drilling and making profits off said drilling...the problem is when they cut corners and then receive no consequences for these illegal actions. Then to add to it you have people who defend them cutting corners contending that the rules they must follow are too tough and are unfair which is why we should allow them to break the rules
like every other part of human life in terms of the constitution and the rights it lays out there are common sense logical restrictions...think of freedom of speech and yelling "fire" in a crouded theatre. Is this an infringement of free speech? No it's a logical and reasonable limit(a law) for the public good. So business too should be governed by laws and so to hold companies to those laws is not crazy. So that's what we want, people to follow the laws because generally when that happens there are far less problems
On Mitt Romney and Bain Capital the issue really is not with "punishing free enterprise" it's about changing the dishonest narrative that Romney was at Bain to spread jobs and good will not to make money which is not true(obviously) so this is Mitt trying to pretend he has a job as opposed to wealth creation record which again is false.....so this is not an assault on anything other than Romney's false narrative

Ijust moved to Las Vegas and read an article in a local arts and entertainment paper that basically stated that the unions were treated better when the mob owed the hotels AND belive it or not the corporations are the ones that treat them like they are 'sub-human'.
DSully, I wish we really knew there game plan for America. You can see the writing on the wall, the list keeps growing each day what they want done away with. Its really a frightening Idea for so many. Its almost like we have two Americas. One for the rich, and one for the poor.

India, good evening. You know I buy only what I have to there anymore. I go patronize other stores. There biggest investor pulled out on them. But heard there going international opening a store in India.

I hate to shop there and try to use other stores (certainly for meat), but I priced a box of cereal we like at Walmart and the other supermarket and the other was an amazing $2.69 more! Walmart has people over a barrel. We do OK financially, but gosh, who doesn't want to find the lowest price and try to SAVE a buck?! And some people don't even HAVE a choice, they have to shop there. I don't know what supermarket you have there in Ohio, but ours is priced sky high on things people NEED. It's outrageous.
PAM, and now the price of gas is inching up again here in PA. My son has a 40 minute commute every day and it is so hard! This problem is being driven by speculators. That should have been outlawed by Obama, and hasn't been. And, of course there is no regular, reliable public transportation. That's another of my pet peeves.
I took a part time job at wall mart for a while. My son just went to the air force and when they are in training you can not communicate with them. So I took the job to distract myself. What a lesson I learned. The people I worked with resented me because they learned what my credentials were and they though that I might think I knew more than they did.
No wonder, the supervisors did take advantage of the workers and treated them badly. No wonder they were paranoid. They didn't know I was just spending time there to keep myself busy. I wasn't trying to make a career of it. I was lucky because I had a full time job other wise I would have though I was in hell. I still will not buy anything from them. It is just easier to pass right by and go some where else. I heard that in the last election they tried to instruct their employees to only vote republican. They got called on that.

The answer is a resounding yes! Of course, Romney doesn't know any better, that's all he's done all his life, no other job, just a corporate raider.
How can he even see what he did himself as wrong or harmful. This is about common sense, he did it, therefore he'll see it as ok and will probably encourage that behavior under the cover of capitalism and free markets, when in reality is just shady, inhumane corporate raiding and plain exploitation.
Romney is out of touch, he has no idea what's life to actually suffer month to moth, he only cares about himself, his money and his Wall St. cronies.

Willard is having a problem. He likes to fire people. He has a big stack of pink slips that he mailed in S. C. He took home a stack of green slips for himself. You have to answer for what you do, Willard. 77 businesses, 22% were closed or just went our of business. KC Steel mill workers are talking about how Willard closed business, took their retirement money, ruined their lives. Heartless.
His money is hidden away in other countries.
