Don't think that will really shut the right up! They will formulate a "repetious" answer to try and befuddle the left.
APPEASEMENT............appppppeeeeeaaaasssseeemmmmeeennnt!
The reps, learned a new vocabulary word......already proved to be ineffective....
INEFFECTIVE : - Not producing the desired effect.
That will not appease the republicans
Appeasement ==osama bin laden??
Obviously Frank Luntz is their "coach".
What ever, karl rove techniques are alive and well. Now everyone all together, repeat after me.
Well lets look at the facts. The teabaggers got us into an illegal war, failed for seven years to bring OBL to justice and our 'president' gets a couple shoes thrown at him. Obama gets us out of the illegal war and working on getting us out of the other, serves justice on OBL the first two years in office plus kills more terrorist leaders in three yrs as Bush did in eight. You have to ask yourself who is best for this country, the Keystone cops or a proven leader. Obama/Biden 2012.
Wow! I must say President Obama has done AWESOME with the war in Iraq. He continued everything that was already in place when he got there. Which is directly opposite of his campaign promises. Republicans need to give him credit for his resolve in finishing this war. He however, didn't end the war in Iraq in fact he extended one year longer than Bush had scheduled. He is bringing home troops for one reason. Because Iraq and the US couldn't come to an agreement on how American troops were to be treated under criminal law in that country.
President Obama has done a great job on foreign policy by leaving the engine running. I say "WOW" because he was voted in with the lie that he would get rid of GitMo, and many other war related things that he did not touch. Now the Libs praise him for lying to you. I am glad he didn't make good on his promises when it comes to the war. He did the right thing.
Our president gave them hell, and I hope he continues, he has had to put up with so much from this sorry bunch of DO NOTHINGS ! Keep them in Washington till they get off there back sides and do something for the American people !
Pam, the only thing that will help the american people is for us to take back the House of Representatives and retain a filibuster proof majority in the Senate, and that includes voting out all the 'blue dog' dems in a primary. Vote them out and keep them out!
I can't agree more.
I love it Ask Osama Bin laden. The Republicans don't have a leg to stand on this one.
OK, so Obama gets to take credit for "getting Osama bin Laden". So when will he start taking responsibility for the economy and all the other detrimental things happening during his tenure.
By the way John in Texas, the Tea Party hasn't existed for seven years yet, so what are you talking about?
FYI for all, I'm not a Republican or a Democrat, I refuse to toe a party line or ignore common sense and logic.
Your right, I should have said 'reichwingnuts'
Then question is not when the president is going to take responsibility for the economy but rather when are the teabaggers going to take reponsibility for obstructing every bill to get this country back on it's feet again.
Your not a 'teabagger'? Hmmm..If it walks like a duck, talks like a duck....
The Tea party by name only they have always been in the Republican party. The Koch spent the money to bring these people foreword.
palmquist,
you are right. the tea party has always been in the republican party. the baggers are not made up of independents and democrats, too, as fox news and the republicans have repeated over and over and over. the baggers are long standing evangelical, extreme right and racist. it is unfortunate that the election of an african american President was just the motivation they needed to spew their hatred. it is unfortunate that hate and bigotry are very powerful motivators, and we have seen just what that kind of motivation can do for the past 3 years. the voter suppression laws directed at african americans and other minorities are now more evidence of how bigotry motivates people to openly display feelings of hatred (under the guise of voter fraud, of course).
when the baggers ran on "where are the jobs" when they campaigned for 2010, they weren't telling the truth about their true agenda. if they would have been truthful, they would never have been elected. reminder: scott walker, wisconsin.
by the way, saying you are a democrat or a republican does not mean you have to "toe a party line". the democratic party is NOT in lockstep the way the repubs have been since Barack Obama took office.
W. bush blamed clinton for the economy all through his first term. and why would we not give credit to President Obama for getting bin laden when HE GOT BIN LADEN, and W. bush dropped the ball, because as he said, "i'm just not worried about bin laden, i don't think about him that much".
he was only concerned about going to war in iraq, taking thousands of our troops and innocent iraqi lives as collateral damage.
Suzette the clear and present ideas of the conspiracy and racist right has managed to infiltrate the GOP, a party where people used to have respectable serious ideas, in a very large very mainstream way. Most people don't, especially tea partiers(obviousy), don't really know this but if you look into things like:
Obama's plan=white slavery/or the commentary on conservative websites complaining about being oppressed for being white- All this is a peice of propaganda rooted in white nationalism aka neo nazism which states that there is a clear and powerful force of nonwhite, nonchristian people actively trying to bring down white people
the favorite talking point of right wing revisionists "this is a christian nation" implying that the US should be a christians only enclave comes out of the evangelical conspiracy fringe(think Glenn Beck) who believe all nonevangelicals are evil and thus are not Americans. This point also serves a method of distracting the public from the radical social engineering they want by trying to convince that they're really not wanting radical revolution because according to them things have been like this all along.
So the connections between some tea party rhetoric and hate groups is well documented however in a world where it's somehow acceptable to not believe in science it becomes increasingly difficult to discuss these truths with people who refuse to hear it
All I want to know is if Romney, Newt, Bachmann, Santorum reach HELL to ask Osama bin Linden if President Obama engage in appeasement. I loved the way the President answer that question ask him by that reporter, concerning what the GOP candidates said.
Does no one realize that the word Teabagger has become lame? Come up with something new. We used to groan at the word and take offense, but now we just feel sorry for the person trying to make the joke. I mean come on. We don't call the OWS tree @!$%#ers!
