As much as I hate repeating myself, I saw this coming from a LLOONNGG way off...
So Herman Cain believes that he's a winner;
He'll show Obama where to find the door!
I'd have to say this man's a greedy sinner
Who's 'simple' tax plan devastates the poor.
He likes to view himself as the 'Godfather'
And killing illegal aliens as a 'joke'.
The jobless of the nation aren't worth the bother
His basic loyalties lie with the Brothers Koch.
His sales tax would only apply to what is new,
So let's see him recycle someone's dinner.
And meanwhile taxes plummet for the few
who'd buy the presidency for this 'winner'
Electing this man to high office is the jest;
The world would laugh at who we'd pick as 'best'..
Herman Cain figured blondes were so fine,
He felt every blonde was worth tryin';
Until each one said "nope"
To a BJ and grope;
Now, he's de-Nine, de-Nine, de-Nine...
NO !! None of these Clowns have a chance in the race = Bunch -o- Goofballs / Puppets / Flip floppers / Nobodies !!!!! Idiots / Fools !! etc. etc. etc. !!!! Point !!!!!
WOW David! LOL!!
Yep, got that right. Thanks David for posting the rhyme. I always said they were using him. I feel bad for his wife and daughters. He has show them no respect. How could he show any respect for the American people? I don't think any women would have voted for him.
David, this hit the nail on the head. Wonderful !
The whole Herman Cain thing was just a fabriccated Republicon Shell And Pea Game . . . " Guess who is going to be the Republicon Candidate " ? . . . so no one will know up until the very last who they are actually going to run.
Cain has known all along he was never a real candidate.
Republicons are scum bags.
Amen MsT! How are you this evening?
And==ann coulter is probably beside herself now = because her blacks are Not better than our blacks Anymore !!! hey !!!! {HER WORDS=O.K.} !!!!!!
Great Nanette ! Hey David, Thankful. Pam52 and Md/Mi !
Great words David !!!
Hey Ms T == Ya Alrite ??!!! Lets get Spunky !!!!! Yeah Wwowoooowowoooooo !!!
Dave: You did it again. No pussyfootin' with this guy. Thanks!!
Yep . . . got a new lap top over a week ago and was having issues with Newsvine recognizing my new IP address ! But it got resolved. Thanks for asking MD/ MI !
I'd say the answer to that is "Nein", "Nein"," Nein". (Thank God.)
Ms T = Hey these new fangled contraptions can be a trip= hey !!!
MsT, So good to see you back sure was lonely here over the weekend as we missed the Ed gang! You picked a good night to post this will be doozy as allot hot topics. Cain hes toast or burnt pizza and you know how much that stinks? LOL
India, Can't remember who sang the song but I think after this bomb shell to Cain. We can say NA ! NA! NA! HEY,HEY GOOD BYE. I mean no women will vote for him, the evangelical crowd will shun him. Kinda hard to be president is"nt it ?
No one was more surprised than Herman Cain to be taken seriously. He just wanted to sell his book.
LOL Pam52 . . . No more Pizza For President ! ( as if he was EVER going to run for President anyway ! LOL )
Therealchris, I think he can write romance novels now, you know the tell all kind? Mst, Thanks I wonder if he will ever look at pizza in the same way again ?
No, mainly because 9-9-9 is a tax increase.Republicans conservatives also like their candidates to know foreign policy in which Cain is a major fail. He did not know China has the bomb and he can't even find Egypt on the map.
It's twirling around in his head.
TherealChris, When he said he had that twriling around in his head that was the truth. How did he keep this affair secret for so long? I feel sorry for his wife that's for sure. He duped her to. Take off the mask Herman Cain and come clean as the woman with Gloria Al read said. Gloria Alread knew she had case, that is a very smart woman and she knows where theres smoke there most certainly is fire. But even if he comes clean Who wants a person like this for president not me. He will be in court for sometime with all the law suits !!!!
I've thought from the beginning he was just a token candidate they found somewhere, to try to prove they weren't racist. I think they paid him some cash to do it, and offered to pay expenses. Where I think it went wrong was, they never figured on the absolute stupidity of some republican voters and Cain actually shot to the top. I'm sure no one was more shocked than his brothers Koch. They probably told him, hey, you can promote your book while you're at it, it's a win win. Is it now, Herb? I'd suspect your wife is about to kick your arse to the curb, and rightfully so. Disgusting man.
@Pam
Men like Cain never come clean no matter how much they scrub. They just dig big holes and try to cover things over as best as they can... generally unsuccessfully. The word "sleazy" comes to mind when I think of Cain.
@iggie
I will agree with you on the "absolute stupidity of some republican voters", as well as their ignorance and gullibility. But I'm not sure he was just a token candidate, I think that Cain was put up to his run as a candidate by the Koch brothers, as their puppet or "Manchurian candidate".
The Koch's have bank rolled him thus far, just as they did many TEAbag candidates for the House and Senate, in an attempt to get their own little group inside the government to do their evil corporate bidding.
They've had success with getting many of their former lobbiests into the House to push more tax cuts and deregulation.... so they were enbolden to try to get another of their puppets into the White House.
Herman (or Herb, as christened by La Palin) Cain must have been delusional to think he could be the GOP nominee. Or perhaps he was "brainwashed"....
BrainWashed With $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ !!!!!!
Hopefully his "brothers from another mother", the Kochs, can comfort him in his time of need....
@David H & MD/MI
Almost all of the GOP candidates are delusional, to match their TEAbag supporters. They are all living in their own little crazy TEAbag world of alternate reality.
I can only think of a couple that think fairly rationally and they are both Mormons, (take that religious right-wingnuts aka fake Christians.) But alas Rom,ney and Huntsman are still Repugs with their own delusional GOP principals of "trickle down economics" and "the rich are the job creators".
And They are All Still Drooling on themselves = hey !!!! And Yogi-Boner is tearful; just thinking about how wonderful He is / In his own mind !!!
I don't think they're going to be taking his calls.
They're done with him.
The real Chris: #2.5 Yeah, he offends their "moral superiority". LOL
@India
Except that the Koch brothers have NO moral superiority, or morals whatsoever.
DScully: Yeah, I was being sarcastic. They are the only ones who think they are morally superior. They can't be as bright as they think, either, or they'd have done their homework on Mr. Cain.
Actually, I meant they no longer see him as viable, so they have no use for him.
They don't actually have any ideals, it's all just money to them.
India, I just noticed your response from Tuesday and I posted a response #2.30
Thanks, Dave B MO! Got it.
Cerman Hain, what a "Horn Dog" ! he probably took notes from Fewt. When Fewt last ran for office, there was a campaign button with "Nuck Fewt" on it. Wish I had kept it. family values all, but which family? and which values?
I want to say no, but with the line up of clowns/candidates the GOP has in this at least 8-ring circus, anything is possible. Just happy Herman's (well) done now.
Obama 2012.
He Has Spent Tooo Much time inside of the pizza oven = hey !!!!!
Maybe it was the sauce? Too many "Tomatoes"
Thankful , do you suppose that's why congress made pizza a vegetable ? They thought that Cain was there man?
LOL!
NAH,I say to many mushrooms.That's why there's some FUNGUS among us.
To quote what Michael Eric Dyson just said, "I think he's the leaning tower of pizza"... "That's no bologna"... "whatever food group you want to call it".... "Cain is done". (he's "Cold Pizza") :^)
Aw, I would just describe him as "cheesy"....
Attack of the Mushroom People!
Thankful mom: Too many tomatoes! LOL Ginger can give you heartburn, I've heard.... .....
India...
On the contrary, ginger is well known for calming the stomach...
Ginger ale is commonly used for pacifying nausea. I have a box filled with crystallized ginger, and whenever my stomach starts up, I just chomp down on a few chunks...
http://www.gingerpeople.com/c/cat/health
Right, I know about that; it was a play on his mistresses name, Ginger. (not my best joke). I'll try harder next time, David. LOL My husband chews on fresh ginger root and loves it. I think it tastes like lifebouy soap! (Ask me how I know!) Just kidding.
David you can also use fresh ginger root and brew it into a tea for nausea. I have used it a lot for my husband who is on chemo drugs for leukemia. It really does work.
Nan, see if you can get him some legal Mary Jane. It is great to make one feel better on chemo. Maybe his doctor will prescribe it for him.
@David
Most definitely... Cain is the smelly kind of cheesy.
Also... right you are about ginger being a long known homeopathic remedy for nausea.
@India
I hope you Mom didn't wash out your mouth with Lifebouy soap when you were young.
@Nanette and Thankful Mom
I was just going to suggest some medical marijuana myself.
DScully: No she didn't, but God knows I gave her ample reason! I think ginger smells like soap is what I should have said. I never tasted it. LOL My husband loves ginger. I only like it in oriental food. He chews the fresh ginger root.
India, I think that fresh ginger root has a slight peppery taste and a little heat as well.
I don't think that we can get medical marijuana in our state. I haven't heard of anyone having it, and I have known a lot of people who have died of cancer.
India...
Since I didn't know the nickname for his mistress, I didn't get the joke. Sorry...
My nickname used to be "Ginger", a long time ago... A very, VERY long time ago...
Round about 1888, Whitechapel, England...
Was that in your first life, David?
No, Just my last one,,,
One of the first things to carry over from a past life is the memory of the death, especially if it was traumatic. These are often expressed as phobias,
In my youth, I had recurring vivid nightmares of being slashed to death in late-19th Century London. I was afraid to do the dishes, for fear of knives cutting my hands in the dishwater. I was also afraid of having my picture taken; it just gave me the creeps. One of my early life ambitions was to be a forexic pathologist, examining bodies to solve crimes, but I balked at slicing up dead animals in Biology labs; it felt too much like I was slicing into myself.
Later, I was readng the story of Jack the Ripper, and I noticed certain coincidences (called 'synchronicities' in past-life parlance) between myself and one of 'Jack's victims. We were both red-haired, blue-eyed, 5-foot-6... She was from Limerick, Ireland, where my grandfather was born... Her flat was located at 14 Dorset Street, off Walnut Court, in Edwardian London. while my last two addresses were at 14 Dorset Court and 14 Walnut Street in Edwardsville, Illinois.
Then, I looked at the crime scene photos, and I knew why I hated having my picture taken... Thes were the first photos ever taken of her, and they were horrific. Apparently, although must of his victime had died in the streets, I had taken him bac k to my flat, where he'd taken his time vivisecting me over two hours... For those unfamiliar with Biology terms, vivisecting is the same as dissecting while still alive...
I know a lot of people claim to know who they were in a previous life as someone famous. like Napolean or Cleopatra. Mary Jane Kelly's sole claim to fame was being the last victim of a madman.
David M Johnston: LOL about 1888! My folks came from over in that "neck of the woods", too. In fact, we may be related: my mother's mother's name was Johnston! I think I may be your sister. LOL
Definitely not siblings, but probably cousins, a few times removed....
LOL OK Cousin 999 times removed.
@India
You think ginger smells like soap? Is there something wrong with your "smeller", ie nose or sense of smell?
I have allergies along with other sinus problems, so I do have problems with my sense of smell sometimes but never noticed ginger smelling like soap.
You've never tasted ginger? Have you never had gingerbread or ginger snap cookies, etc.
@David
Ahhh... were you a redhead back in England? That would explain your nickname back then.
Oh... it was past life as one of Jack the Ripper's victims. I know which one you speak of. I saw a documentary recently on the search of the Ripper's identity and it covered his victims and the one who brought him back to her flat. It was horrific.
The documentary said that Jack the Ripper turned out to be of German descent and was a sailor on a Naval vessel that used to dock near the Whitecastle area in England. Eventually his ship ended up in NY harbor where he proceeded to attack a few women and was finally caught, imprisoned, and executed... his identity discovered.
@David
Mary Jane Kelly might have been the Ripper's last victim in England, but he had at least 2 on US shores before he was caught over here. The documentary I saw was called something like Looking for Jack the Ripper. It was quite interesting and he was caught, and executed here in the states.
Before his execution and while in prison, a psychiatrist interviewed him and he devulged his ongoing need or urge to vivisect women. He felt it was beyond his ability to control.... he was obviously a psycho case.
No. Mr Cain is done. He should withdraw and start thinking of Pizza and not White House. It is not easy to be a Leader. Mr.Gingrich has similar issues and people haven't forgotten that.
IT IS GOING TO BE MR. OBAMA ALL THE WAY.
Of Coarse Theyre is NO COMPETITION from these GOMERS on the gop isle !!!!!
Sen: I'm hoping you're right. It'll be a tough fight. Too many looking at a third party or write-in.
Do you think the R/tps will pull a trump card at their convention: Like Jeb Bush? Tho there's still so much hatred and calling for the arrest of his bro, Dubya and his regime. People voted for R/tp governors and TParty reps, they fell for the anti-abortion, anti-gay song and dance and keeping thR birther thing alive. The Koch Bros. marketing dept. is coming up with new stuff, manipulated rhetoric, and too many Americans don't stop to think. Too many. Heck, they're too busy working, family, etc. It'll take more of us this time. OBAMA 2012
earthgirl: If they don't settle on Huntsman, it'll be Obama. That works for me.
earthgirl : The Repubs. are only for rich people, they don't like anything to do with the middle class / poor people in America, who have given so much for their country.
Each and every middle class / poor people should vote for President Obama. The Repubs will stop Medicare, Social Security, Medicaid and all entitlements which are created to protect middle class / poor people and for which America is recognized to be the Greatest Country in the world. The Repubs likes War and excessive defense budget that is not only bringing disgrace to America but also killing so many Americans most everywhere in the world, where no repubs are seen.
Herman Cain never had snow balls chance in jello becoming anything but what he is the great pretender, how many women are there waiting in the wings? He should of quit after first woman came forward. Now he may loose his run for president. His wife and his mistress !!
PAM - If not the first one,then when the second one appeared into the picture.How many more are in "hiding" and waiting to crawl out of the woodwork ? I am going to say at least another 5,what's your guesstimate ?
Well ted I would say that's a good ball park figure. This guy comes off like hes a smug Gods gift to the ladies. He got away with it for years and now hes caught. That pizza sure got him in the sauce !!!! LOL
Cain was also spouting about his great business successes. I saw nothing but canned responses from the upper mgmt. There was one comment, wish I had copied it, from an analyst who said many of Cain's pizza chain closed their doors.
Cain enjoyed his ride, made money, and will be in the history books, i.e. Palin. He was a distraction AND, like Michael Steele, former head of RNC, a facade for the R/tp to show they were not racist.
One reason many of the pizza stores closed is because the pizzas are nasty. I have said it before and I will say it again. Herman Cain's pizzas are the worst I have ever eaten.
Nanette, I don"t think ever ate one of his pizzas and glad did"nt. From the sounds of it if he had payed more attention to the pizza and less on the ladies maybe they would"nt of tasted so awful.
Second that. I bought one a long time ago (individual) and it was a lump of dough with a little circle of cheese and a drop of tomato sauce. I bought a second one a few weeks later to see if I had gotten a bad one the first time, but it was exactly the same.
Kind of describes his campaign.
Amen to that
TheRealChris, That sounds disgusting. I make my homemade pizza crust and all I guarantee you would love it as I pile the fillings on been making them for 40 years. That pizza is a very good description of Cain. A man who puts on a show and the campaign as you say is the same. I would vote for Scott Olsen he is a hero and an honorable person !
Pam I make my own pizza and stromboli as well. When I make one it is a real meal.
Alright, thanks to you two I'm hungry.
Time for dinner.
Nanette, gosh you and Ido so many things alike. I think its the good old ridge runner in us. All kidding aside some of the best cooks are from the south . Chris maybe one day we"ll have a computer to send food.LOL
Pam, you know that is the truth. The best cooks that I have ever known was of course my Mom and my Aunt Emma. Lord have mercy could those two cook! I wish that I could cook half as good as they did. I did learn a lot from watching them, I hardly use a cook book at all. I go by the look and feel of dough and batter and such. My hands are my measuring cups. I learned the old way of cooking. I like good old country food for the most part. In the spring and summer I can just go outside and come back in the house with what I need for supper. We have Molly Moochers that grow in our yard, most folks go out in the woods to find them, ramps in the woods behind our house, poke greens, shawnee greens, creesy greens, dandelion greens. Poke stalks when peeled can be boiled like potatoes, geez, I have been blessed to have had parents that taught me how to survive. A lot of our generation have that knowledge, but I am afraid that many of the young people have no interest in it. Fast food is too easy to get for them to even think about going out and feeling the thrill of finding a patch of lambs quarters. Pam I think we are the last of our kind. Knowing a little natural medicine too. Chewing willow bark for a headache, the fluid of milk weed dried up fever blisters and soothes poison ivy. So many natural things out there that we can use if we need too.
Nanette: That is interesting. My husband and I do not eat fast food either, and grew a little trial organic garden this year. It was great! Neither of us ever had a taste for soda or fast food. (Good thing we met!). Did you ever make fresh wilted dandelion salad with hot bacon drippings?
I sure have India! It is delicious!
@Ted
Well, we know that there were at least 2 or 3 other women with sexual harassment complaints... I believe there were 4 or 5 in all. But I wonder if any others will come forward with another affair?
Probably not if he is smart enough to finally drop out, but Cain seems to be a glutton for punishment (or maybe just attention and publicity regardless of it being good or bad) nor does he seem to be very smart.
D.SCULLY - So your guestimate is for sure another 2 or 3 if he stay's in the race ? Like I said,there's probably another 5 in the woodwork just waiting to crawl out of it.
Nanette, I totally agree with you . When we were without power for week here once I will all ways remember my son saying Mom sure am glad you know the old ways. We have all kinds of wild goodies growing near us as well. I heard so many storeys from German friends how they survived after the war. Eating birds and cooking the new needles on pine trees. Many are so quick to say yuck ! But if you are starving you will do anything to survive. Never have we needed the old ways more. But sadly the streams and lakes are poisoned with mercury so getting fish Is ify any more. The natural greens and things that have survived for thousands of years are being destroyed with the mining of coal and the destruction of land. I posted awhile back about having survival skills. I don"t know about you Nanette it needs to be taught today. I love to use fresh ginger in my stir frys. I buy big piece and keep in freezer. I am watching Morning Joe, how many days you think Cain has before he quits?
Sound like a girl of my own heart, but I still don't like canned green beans. Now, maybe if I was starving?
Pam I have no idea how long he will stay in the race. He is one weird person.
@Ted
Yeah... at least 2 or 3. We know there were at least 4 women with sexual harassment complaints, but only 2 of them came out and made themselves known. The other's have chosen to remain unknown to the public. Now this woman claiming an affair with Cain is a completely different issue.
Yes let him go back to making his nasty pizzas. Put a fork in him, he is DONE!
I see the reps in congress have broken their pledge to grover. They have decided to tax the middle class more, but not the wealthy.
Thankfulmom: They're just a surprise a minute, aren't they! We not only need to vote them out, we need to KICK them out. This is sheer insanity. You can't run a country with no revenue, especially with two long wars having depleted everything. Just ending the Bush tax cuts would add 3.8 TRILLION to the deficit in the next few years. They worry so much about the deficit; yeah, right.. ..it could be fixed with just a few simple adjustments which they could legislate today if they cared to do so. They could care less about anything but their own bank accounts. Their tax raising aversion doesn't extend to the working people. That tells me all I need to know about them or ever want to know. I hope people wake up and kick them OUT!
@Thankful Mom & India
Well.... it seems that Turtleman McConnell has decided that it's not a good idea to make a show of protecting the 1% over helping the 99% after all. He is finally saying that they will probably vote to extend the tax cuts for the 99% alone. Maybe the Occupy movement is starting to scare him and penetrate his little turtle shell.
Though knowing what a conniving little turd...er, turtle he is, I have a feeling he will try to also add an extension of the tax cuts for the rich also. Obama better stand strong this time.
Yeah... the Progressive caucus wrote a budget bill called The People's Budget that could eliminate the debt within 7 years I believe, and without severe cuts to Social Security, Medicare or other programs that serve the 99%. Of course it does things like cut the military and taxes millionaires.... everything Repugs hate.
IF Herman Cain got the nomination,I would be shocked by it.The man is not a POLITICIAN and probably will never be one at all.I don't have anything against him (yet) but I don't think he would have made it to the WHITE HOUSE even if he did get the GOP nomination.
@Ted
Of course he's not a politician, but that is what is appealing to the TEAbaggers. They think the country would be better off run by corporate CEOS and business types. All part of their plan for the corporatization of the Federal government.
Cain's lack of knowledge about anything else going on in the world, and his apparent lack of consideration for propriety and appropriate behavior toward the women he encounters is what concerns me.
I almost voted yes, since he has that whole folksy way down pat. Like Ronald Reagan he was able to look into the camera with that wise ole, confident, grandfatherly way. It worked for Ronnie didn't it. Think of it, why was Reagan so loved? Because he was the "Great Communicator," and Cain did have some of that. Unlike Ronnie though he could not keep his story strait, when talking about abortion, or gay marriage, and other things he would contradict himself in the same sentence. And the "We need a leader, not a reader," may have set well for his base [of coarse it did] but I doubt with the independent voters.
Personally... I never thought Ronnie Reagan had a wise old grandfatherly way... I thought he was a lying @!$%#. I could never figure out why so many Democrats fell for his lies, hook, line and sinker. They were a bunch of idiots and hopefully are now realizing the mistake they made.
The whole trickle down economy idea came from him and it was a miserable failure at that time.... though the seed was planted in the lame brains of the Repugs who haven't given up the idea since... while advancing Ronnie to the position of God.
He and a snow ball in hell had the same chance of not melting away in the heat of the glaring lights both find themselves to be under.
The Republican party don't need the presidency, as long as they can obstruct any forward movement that would benefit the majority of American people.What they do want is to maintain their control of the Congress and to increase their presence in the Senate.
Look at what they are offering as potential candidates and all the negative baggage that they carry. From flip-flopping to womanizing; stupidity to ignorance.This sideshow they claim is an effort to determine the candidate is a slap in the face of the of the American people. We can't afford to turn the other cheek; we must slap them out of office.
//
//
Not at all.
Nope! Not Cain, not Gingrich, and definitely not Bachmann!! Everyone knows these three have been on book tours masquerading as "Running for President of the United States."
If the election were held today, lifelong Republicans would vote for President Obama! They likely will next year anyway!
Obama/Biden 2012. It's a lock.
/Sure hope so Kat6!!
Not if they are DIE-HARD republicans.
I don't know, Ted. Even John McClain would have trouble voting for these losers.
@MJean Sarna ~ I hope so too!! ;-)
@Ted ~ I said that because I know lifelong Republicans who are voting for President Obama next year. You can't tell me the GOP would prefer Gingrich? The Speaker who was brought up on ethics charges and who had to pay a #300K fine? The first Speaker in our history to ever do so? Who was then forced to resign as Speaker? With respect, I don't think so.
@David M. Johnston ~ Agree!
David Johnston, You are probably right about that. The only salvation in all of this is Karl Rove and the Koch Boys are getting there just deserts with spending so much money on these candidates. Lets hope they go for broke !!!!!
PAM - Why go for broke ? How about BUST(nothing left to their names). Lets just hope that it does HAPPEN(yuk,yuk,yuk)
DAVID M JOHNSTON - That's hard saying especially when GOON - GRINCH was speaker of the house while McCain was in the senate(and still is there).You do have a point on that one,but then you never know.
Ted...
I didn't say John McCain; I said John McClain!
Or maybe you never saw any of the DIE-HARD movies... (You said, "DIE-HARD Republicans", remember?)
Ted you are right after I posted that last night I reread it and that's what should of been. They can spend them selves in the poor house as well !!! I agree also Cain has big woman problems and has worked with allot of women so there will be more and longer he denies hes done anything and plays like hes alter boy the worse its going to be. Newts getting reamed on Morning Joe this morning !!!! How he can get up there and preach hes Mr. Wonderful !!!!
@Kat & Ted
Okay... this time of year any mention of The Gingrinch always spurs me to sing my favorite Newt carole. Go ahead and sing along... you must know this one!
You're a vile one, Mr. Gingrinch
You have termites in your smile
You have all the tender sweetness of a seasick crocodile Mr. Gingri-inch
Given the choice between the two of you, I'd take the uh... seasick crocodile.
You're a monster, Mr. Gingrinch
Your heart's an empty hole
Your brain is full of spiders, you have garlic in your soul Mr. Gingrinch
I wouldn't touch you with a thirty-nine-and-a-half foot pole.
You're a foul one, Mr. Gingrinch
You're a nasty, wasty skunk
Your heart is full of unwashed socks, your soul is full of gunk Mr. Gingri-inch
The three words that best describe you are as follows, and I quote: Stink, stank, stunk!
You nauseate me, Mr. Gingrinch
With a nauseous super-naus
You're a crooked, jerky jockey and you drive a crooked hoss Mr. Gingri-inch!
Your soul is an apalling dump-heap, overflowing with the most disgraceful assortment of rubbish imaginable, mangled up in tangled up knots!
You're a rotter, Mr. Gingrinch
You're the king of sinful sots
Your heart's a dead tomato splotched with moldy purple spots Mr. Gingri-inch!
You're a three-decker sauerkraut and toadstool sandwich with arsenic sauce!
You're a mean one, Mr. Gingrinch
You really are a heel
You're as cuddly as a cactus, you're as charming as an eel Mr Gingri-inch!
You're a bad banana with a... greasy black peel.
I have said it once, and I shall say it again, there is a huge market for Far Right Conservatism.Â
Gee Albert, all these anonymous comments! If people won't allow their names to be in line with their comments I don't have any confidence in what they say.
Albert, you are going to be so disappointed, come 2012.
Albert, I know republicans that are voting for Obama in 2012. They are sick to their stomachs with the choices they have been given by the republican party, as a matter of fact they are ashamed for people to really even know that they are republicans now. There are more of them out there than you realize Albert.
We'll see.
Nanette: Did you see my response to your food post?
Yes India, I responded to it.
Well lets look at the facts so far Al. The teabaggers and Kasich got their asses handed to them in Ohio. Walker will have the shortest time as govenor in history, not counting sarah palin, if fact Snyder in Mich, kasich in Ohio and Rick Scott in Florida all have approval ratings in the crapper. Congress has an aproval rating of 7% thanks to the teabagger lead house that has not created job one in a year plus the filibuster happy teabagger minority in the senate that has purposely obstructed any kind of recovery and the whole country knows it. You have 5 imbecile teabagger candidates that are a laughing stock of the nation. What chances would YOU give your party on gaining four more seats in the senate let alone winning the white house? I would say slim to none...And Slim left town.
#13.11 Excellent post John, many good points reminding trolls like Al Jones WHY they just suck and none of their insane clowns will retake the WH. ........No matter how low Pres Obama's polls ever were or are, they'll look high when compared to any of the sad little GOP wannabes! In fact, Pres Obama's polls already always have been higher than the tea bagged CON-gress. The do-nothing obstructionists public support has plummeted and stayed super low since shortly after the 2010 election. They have badly overplayed their hand on every single issue. No they know America isn't nearly as far right as Rand Paul and Paul Ryan!..........I really believe that the majority is done w the wacko baggers and wants nothing more to do with them, or their strident fascist social or destructive plutocratic fiscal stances. You know you can't talk any sense into these reich-wing extremist characters. Lord knows I have tried for years! Largely devoid of logic, they somehow insist that they will win the WH ....BUT w/o a platform voters support.........AND w/o even a viable, non-schizoid candidate (UNLIKE Bachmann) to convey the message to the low info and wishy-washy independent voters. The GOP doesn't have anyone w/o a warehouse full of baggage, who doesn't seem as phony as a 3 dollar bill (like Slick Perry, Cain, Newtster, or Romney) or as dumb as a box of rocks (like Palin) ..............Visiting trolls like Al Jones love posting bizarre mixes of Rupert Murdoch-warped 'news' and a bunch of worthless far right hit pieces and opinion. I guess it makes them feel 'important'......coming in here to......ahem....'educate' us liberals and so-called socialists, scolding us w their 'Koched-up' so-called facts. It can be good for few cheap chuckles for us to read. I keep thinking, gee whiz, the top 2% sure has these knuckleheads brainwashed pretty good, WOW, they really buy into all that Fixed news dribble dished up by propaganda minister Rupert Murdoch! Basically devoid of logic, the poor fools (who aren't in the top 1-2% and never will be) are just too stubborn to admit that they are wrong on the issues, and that they are voting against their own best interests- and supporting vile, selfish individuals an d despicable policies that are destined to screw up the nation for decades. I'm glad fewer and fewer voters have actually come to their senses after the 2010 TP election debacle. The demise of the small and rather insignificant corporatist sponsored astroturf TP 'movement' and the strong and large GENUINE grassroots OWS movement and the many, MANY of us OWS sympathizers and supporters shows where more and more voters are at in the current political climate........In reality, behind closed doors the GOP brass must be terrified! They'll put on a happy face in public every time, but you just KNOW they KNOW they don't have a REAL candidate that can take Obama! They KNOW most voters are NOT in favor of things the far right and the 'Norquistas' hold dear! The public is against more tax cuts for the 2%, against more unfunded wars, against privatizing SS and slashing Medicare, against more anti-choice social engineering, against more risky business deregulation schemes etc. To the contrary........All indications are the public supports raising taxes, strengthening NOT destroying SS and medicare! The Pres has the issues on his side! .......What does the GOP have? They have a pack of lying, ignorant, extremist flunkies who only regurgitate what Hannity, BillO, and Rush say, and what meets the approval of the Kochs and Norquist. The current wannabes aren't fit to hold a city council seat in a little town like Mayberry, much less the WH! A long while back it was gonna be Palin taking on Obama (I know, I know, LOL!!!) Recently it was Bachmann, then Perry, Then Cain. Now this wk its the 'ol Newtster. It won't be a minute before he's toast too. I strongly disagree w Ann Coulter on 98-99% of everything, but even a loony tune like her knows it just ain't happening this time......... Why doesn't the GOP just ask Jerry Sandusky?!.........he's got as much chance as any of the other losers do of winning, seriously LOL!
I agree Nanette... those anonymous comments sort of sound MADE UP, don't they.
Probably made up by Fox and Flunkies... am I correct ALBERT?
Hey ALBERT,
Like most other things... you are wrong about the left celebrating Herman Cain's demise. We would have loved to see nothing more than Obama run against a nitwit like Cain. So if you have any delusions about the Democrats being behind this, you really are not living in reality.
Also considering how much the popularity of the TEAbags have fallen and the Repugs seem to be openly identifying themselves as protectors of the 1%.... I don't think we have to worry too much about the Demos loosing the Senate. In fact, I predict the Dems will be installing Speaker Pelosi again in the House come 2013.
@John in Texas
Exactly.... you got that right. The Repugs/TEApugs have no chance considering their policies all slant severely toward favoring the 1%, and the rest of us in the 99% are SICK AND TIRED of it as well as MAD AS HELL.
I have a feeling that AL is just disappointed that his idiot candidate is not coming off well, which ever idiot that was. In fact his entire party of TEApugs have the least favorable rating and only the most gullible and crazy are continuing to support them.
@ImpeachW
Loved your post.... so much truth there.
Don't all of the TEApugs and their NITWIT candidates all seem to be living in their own little reality? If they are confronted by actual facts, their heads explode.
No I didn't ever really think so as he has been a phony all along.. My concern is Newt...he is dangerous and evil thinking.
M Jean Sarna: Yes, he is dangerous. I believe, however, that much of his baggage has not gotten to the attention of those in the GOP who will be horrified by it. When that happens, he will be the next political suicide. That, if the political gods are kind, will leave Jon Huntsman. The one good candidate, in every respect, whom they ignore and mistrust! It's so crazy! Huntsman is a man of extraordinary experience and character. The T-party trusts Cain, Perry, and Gingrich over him! I will NEVER get it. They go for sleazy, stupid, and unelectable. Don't they WANT to win or what?
@MJean & India
Yes... Newt is evil and dangerous and the thought of him in the WH is scary. And as unlikely as it sounds, I never take these things for granted since GW Moron's terms. I never thought that was possible either, but I took for granted the stupidity of some American voters.
Of course, the election fraud and tampering with voting machines also helped Bush.... along with Ralph Nadar stealing some of Gore's votes... and finally the biased GOP Supreme court injustices stealing the entire election for Bush.
So we can't take anything for granted. But although Huntsman is the most rational, sane and favorable GOP candidate... he doesn't have a chance with the current GOP being lead by the nose by the TEAbags. The Crazies will only vote for CRAZY and the Repugs are too scared of them to protest.
Remember that "pizza" is a vegetable.
According to Reagan, so is ketchup.
Don't forget the mustard. Reagan that both ketchup and mustard could be counted as vegetables. He wanted to cut the school lunch program so bad. Typical republican, protect those fetuses, but starve the kids
Kenneth of Minn: Re; #15: So is Herman Cain.
!!!!!!!!
#15.2 Nan- a big Amen to that! Pure glaring GOP hypocrisy. Make all abortions illegal, and restrict and even make birth control illegal, but screw anyone that has gets an STD or HIV for lack of contraception, or get pregnant and has kid they can't afford to raise and feed. I'd make it a law for all anti-choicers to pay triple -or higher- in taxes to support all the unwanted kids they insisted women have- at minimum right up to age 21!
@Nanette and ImpeachW
Yes... of course Ronnie R was a hypocrite just as most of the Repugs/TEAbags are... and none are or have lived in full adherence to reality.
@India
LOL.... Herman certainly can be classified a vegetable.... along with Rick-diculous Perry, Crazy Lady Bachmann and many others.
I would not vote for any of the other declared candidates except Dr. Paul and Governor Gary Johnson. But the media is busy dismissing Paul and ignoring Governor Johnson so it is hard to really know their poll appeal.
As in past elections, the "good ole' boys" of the media present our options to us, rather than providing equal time interviews. Yes, they kept telling us everyday it was Romney or Cain, Gingrich or Romney, and looking over the chances of Huntsman while Paul polled consistently higher than Huntsman. Now we hear again Trump is thinking of running. And we are back to looking at everyone but Rep Paul and Gov Johnson. Media: Please stop games of influence and behave as professional journalists, investigators, and reporters. Also, include declared candidates in polls so that when decisions are made regarding whom to invite to debates, the polls list all the declared candidates!
I did not mean to imply that I would vote for Cain. No. Never from the beginning, as it was clear the comments he made about the "Occupy" movement that he does not understand what has happened or is happening in America. I ruled him out when he appeared to me to be ignorant of predatory capitalism, corporatocracy, and military nation building, among other things.
Ron Paul would never get the nomination. As for Johnson, I believe he holds the record for most vetoes while governor of NM; whether that's a good thing or not, I wasn't interested in checking. Johnson leans Libertarian and I think he was counting on Ron Paul not running, so he (Johnson) could get Paul's support. It appears Johnson is too, too republican and tp with his thoughts on taxes, etc.
It's too bad the Republicans, themselves, knocked him out of the debates. Maybe he didn't want to play ball with the big money funders?
Gwen: WHO are they polling?? Ron Paul has no chance. Huntsman, from what I hear, is the only one Obama sees as a threat amongst the general electorate! The T-party is a vocal minority. They only think they are calling this election. Not that I know who is, but I know who isn't. I've assumed all along that the elites want that Wall St. toady, Romney, and that they will get him, come hell or high water. I would be happy, happy, happy to be wrong about that. I know they don't like Huntsman because he refused to sign Norquists' pledge, and because he is a Mormon, and they wrongly see him as a RINO. There are two good Republicans in the world. Huntsman is one of the two.
And we get the usual tea bagged republican copy and paste of a poll. Instead of telling us why he would vote GOP or why we should vote GOP he tries the dishonest tactic of the GOP of trying to make it appear Obama doesn't have a chance so we might as well not vote at all. GOP dishonesty at its finest which just goes to show why no one should vote for a party that prides itself on vote rigging and dishonest tactics. BTW, the topic is is Cains run done. The topic is not how bad are Obamas poll numbers.
Don't you have him on your idnore radar yet, Whom? Or do you just like to take up response. No one is reading his polls, or post.
His posts grow with his delusion.
@Gwen
Hate to tell you this dear, but Ron Paul wasn't living in reality even before the TEAbags took over the GOP. And he's passed his irrational illogical belief systems to his son, Rand. To be a Libertarian is to check reality at the door.... if you are one, maybe you should rethink the matter.
Which is why Rand voted against a bill in the Senate a while back which would regulate the maintenence and upkeep of gas pipelines to prevent further explosions in private homes and neighborhoods. The gas companies were even in favor of this legislation and saw a need for it.
Yet Rand in his delusional Libertarian mind could not allow any regulation of these gas lines.... even if it would prevent homes from exploding in the future. Who are the idiots in Kentucky that voted this loonie toone into office?
@India
I think you are correct about Wall St wanting Romney as their toady in the WH, but I don't think Huntsman being a Mormon as a reason for them disliking him. Romney is a Mormon after all.
I think their dislike for Huntsman would have more to do with him not being as willing to do their bidding... but he is still a Repug and adheres to basically the same flawed Repug philosophies of lowering taxes and deregulating.
Huntsman's only redeeming quality in my mind, besides his experience with foreign diplomacy, is that he hasn't signed Norquist's pledge.
@whomitmay
Of course, the Repug's only hope is to discourage voting or suppressing voting for Democrats and they know it, which is why all of the voter suppression laws all over the country under Repug Governors.
The GOP definitely don't stand for ethics or upholding Constitutional rights, unless it's the right to bear arms. Forget any other civil rights... and only the TEAbags have the right to assemble and protest, but not the 99%.
No Cain never had a chance to be the GOP nominee & neither does Rootie Tootie Newty, both for the same reason. They both only wanted to make money for themselves & got taken seriously by members of a party that wouldn't recognize leadership if they tripped over it.
They are both a little Randy!
Whommie - LOL!!! Once again you have make me laugh! Facts, figures, anything truthful just goes in one ear and out the other! You're killing me Whommie! Keep it up......I love the comedy!
Good post Albert! I'm looking forward to next January (2013) when we inaugurate a republican and welcome aboard the SEVEN new GOP senators that will give us that chamber. When we add the three to five new GOP representatives, all the Whommie's in the Country will be whining like spoiled children. We'll have to get Governor Scott Walker to give them a little cheese with their whine! ROTFLMAO!!!!!!
@Thankful Mom
A little randy is an understatement. I would love to know what the conservatives now throwing their support to Newt would think of the little tidbit Lawrence shared on his show last night about Newt getting a BJ from a staffer's wife in his driveway and in the presence of his own little kids. Now that is disgusting.
Of course Herman Cain had a chance at winning the GOP nomination. The GOP primary voters are profoundly stupid so they are easily hood-winked. They've fallen for Michele Bachmann, Rick Perry and Herman Cain - all moronic candidates.
Now, the GOP primary voters have rediscovered Newt Gingrich, a man with absolutely NO morals, ethics, or values; however, the lunatic Christian conservatives will now embrace him.
Republicans are determined to force their regressive values on the rest of us, and they will crawl through any gutter to do it.
SarahForbes: What an astonishingly fine comment!!! I like your razor-sharp insight.
Sarah - Coming from an avowed left wing troll like you, being called "profoundly stupid" is something I'll wear like a badge of honor.
In typical fashion, when a left wing elitist can't support a valid argument, they call others names. I suggest all other close down her valueless crud.
Come on Vine.........where's the fairness? Let's get Sarah banned for a month.
Sarge: As it happens, this is a left-wing, MSNBC, Ed Show vine. That makes YOU the troll, not Sarah.
@Sarah
Your comments are right on, and of course why wouldn't the lunatic religious right be hypocritical about embracing the immoral, amoral and devoid of ethics Newt.
They are hypocritical about espousing Christian values except when it comes to Christ's teachings to care for the poor, the sick, the needy and to love their fellow man as themselves.
@India
I couldn't have said it better.... SARGE IS THE TROLL.
I'll bet he also has no choice in wearing the badge "profoundly stupid" regardless of who calls him that, as brainless and delusional as he is.
I figured I'd find myself in the minority on this one, but I answered in the affirmative because the GOP base really is that desperate. He was willing to be savagely mean-spirited and that resonates with today's GOP.
Max: Unfortunately, it sure does resonate with them. I can see why you'd vote that way. The meaner, the better. That's true. Ignorance is a big selling point, as well.
@Max and India
It's true the TEAbags and many Repugs do go for the nasty and mean-spirited... but never fear, they will get even more of that from THE GINGRINCH.
Not only is his head not screwed on just right. But I think the most likely reason of all... is that his heart is definitely two sizes too small. Dr. Suess had it right.
What was the whole reason behind getting rid of President Obama. They couldn't stand a black man in the White House, unfortunately it wasn't just Republicans. I believed then and I still believe "The Best Man For The Job IS Obama" and I believe most of the country thinks so too.
Easynan: I agree. If the GOP obstructionists and the T-Party get out of his way in his second term, he can do a lot of good. He's extremely intelligent. He had some bad advice and bad luck in his first term. He deserves a second chance. The GOP, short of Huntsman, would screw us up big time.
@Easynan & India
Most definitey... Obama is the best man for the Job. But the only way the Repugs and TEAbags will get out of his way is IF WE GET THEM OUT OF HIS WAY. It's up to us to vote those suckers out of the House and as many as possible out of the Senate. Unfortunately, we can't get rid of the TEAbags voted into the Senate until 2014... but there are Repugs up for re-election that can be kicked out.
Unfortunately Turtleman McConnell isn't up for election again until 2014, but if we get rid of as many of the REpugs and TEAbags as possible, maybe Turtleman will get the message that his days are numbered and he better lay off the philibusters in Obama's next term in office. The people have had it with the Repug abuse of the Senate rules.
We need to let the Repugs and Turtleman know that we are giving Obama a mandate to fix the economy, job creation, etc. on his own terms WITHOUT INTERFERENCE AND OBSTRUCTION FROM THE GOP/TEAPUGS.
